that's the sign of a low IQ moron. If you agree with something then why does it bother you to hear people share the same opinion? Shouldn't that be a good thing?
Can someone please explain this hate-boner the US brass have for pups? In normal countries you can have FALs, then switch to FAMAS or AUG, then switch to the latest HK or AR and no one cares. It's just about picking the best equipment for the situation.
There's a logistic benefit when everyone has the same gun. Beyond that I really don't know. Maybe they just love Stoner so much anything else is like blasphemy to them.
They're all old and dying though so it won't be a problem forever.
Everyone can still have the same gun. You just pick the best one based on what kind of war you're likely to be involved in. >They're all old and dying though so it won't be a problem forever.
What are the Gen X officers like the US? What kind of equipment do you think you'll get when they take over?
you can't do Marine Corps gay marching band shit with a bullpup because the gun is too short
like at "order arms" you'd have to lean over a bit to reach down to the muzzle—ridiculous
Can't they just parade normally like their cousins in bongland? They manage to look pretty smart with bullpups (albeit the worst bullpups ever made, but still they look good).
>Everyone can still have the same gun. You just pick the best one based on what kind of war you're likely to be involved in.
It's possible to be involved in a war that is fought across multiple environments simultaneously.
In defence of the AR15, it's a really good jack of all trades. Stoner's system is easily converted into a short barreled piston operated gun which can be used in urban settings -see HK416. The standard version is great for areas where humidity and wet debris are a problem. In most environments it either works well or can be easily modified to work well enough. This means that regardless of the variant, once a soldier intuits its manual of arms he can be shipped anywhere in the world and instantly start using a gun which is familiar and effective. That's what they really like to see in a weapon and to achieve the same effect with a bullpup they would have to only use bullpups everywhere. I guess they've yet to be convinced that a bullpup can do that job better for the same price. That said I personally like bullpups and I think the RM277 might honestly be the best one ever made. Unless it has some catastrophic problem behind the scenes they haven't told us about I would adopt it. Maybe a scaled down version firing an intermediate cartridge as well.

Boomer Americans are lazy as fuck and don't want to retrain soldiers on how to use a bullpup. The AR platform is very famous (like the AK) and so it has a huge amount of dickriders who don't want something too different. Thirdly, strong favoritism toward SIG

They should have done this instead of making it a bullpup, or at least make the bullpup a variant of it.
It would be so front-heavy it's not funny. For a long barrel a bullpup design has a huge advantage
Yeah you don't suggest bullpups to retards, only smart people will adopt it. It's not even a difficult concept to understand that a longer rifle is more unwieldy, especially in vehicles and indoors.
>Machete: bigger than a knife, not quite a sword. >GD buttplug: more suppression than a flash hider, not quite a suppressor.
It's the machete of muzzle devices. I want one.
I remember what they really took from us.
Imagine all the 249 ammo distributed around the squad is instead carried directly by the 249 gunner and it still reducing their load by several pounds.
No
1) Thats a 5.56 LMG so its a bad comparison
2) It weighs half of what a PKM does
3) All else being equal, 7.62RFN PKMs are inherently heavier than x54R PKMs
4) PCT weight < Polymer case weight even before accounting for 5.56 vs 7.62

bullpupfags are the futafags of the gun world
I agree with them and I understand their love but it just doesn't really end up working if you think about it hard enough and it can never exist as the standard
suppressor looks more like some ridiculous thing that's more or less not useful for what it's intended and somehow useful. Bad trigger because bullpup and if we're being honest a lack of originality when it comes to their "lmg". Which is just their fucking rifle with a bipod.
>Looks >Shit you've never experienced and thus have no way to confirm >Originality
God damn, the only valid point was that their "LMG" wasn't really an LMG and you mostly got there by accident.
You haven't touched it either yet you defend it like you're the one who tested it. The bullpup lost because it was shit and didn't even remotely have an lmg or anything related to it.
>suppressor looks more like some ridiculous thing that's more or less not useful for what it's intended and somehow useful
lolwat? For your sake I hope you're drunk.

>This bullpup in particular >starts ranting about the LMG submission
Beretta bought the design but they'll probably produce it in a different caliber which sucks. The gun itself is sleek but the caliber/cold shooting casings are what made it extremely innovative.
They've also removed any mention of a civilian release which means they probably working on it and got tired of getting emails about what they're planning on doing.
>memepup gays unironically posting Karl the cuck like he's an authority on anything
Explains a lot.
Reminder that not a single serious military force on planet earth uses memepups. Reminder that the frogs only used the FAMAS because it was French and different from anglo rifles. They are gimmick rifles for flat range LARPers who pick their equipment by reading it's "stats" on excel sheets instead of actually testing them out in the field.
holy shit shut up already
The constant whining about NGSW makes me start to like it out of sheer contrarianism
that's the sign of a low IQ moron. If you agree with something then why does it bother you to hear people share the same opinion? Shouldn't that be a good thing?
If I the thing I like puts me in company of whining piss babies and gays, it will embitter me until I want nothing to do with it anymore.
But the rifle is shit. Fuck the Siggers.
I don't really have an opinion on it though
Ikr? I'm sick of the butthurt Gen Dyn shills. Like stfu and cope. Nobody cares about your ugly ass rifle that didn't win and was never going to.
>submitting a bullpup
>in the US
They wanted to lose

Now let's see it de-pupped.
I regret even attempting this
Anon this is a safe for work board
I'm not even mad, I'd buy one.
Why TF is the receiver hinged lmao
kek, it's so stubby
"They will be my bulwark against Chaos.."
lamfo
the emperor protects
They should have done this instead of making it a bullpup, or at least make the bullpup a variant of it.
SEXO
>failure design (bullpup)
>failure ammo design
>failure supressor design
delusional on all counts except maybe the suppressor, which is more or less just a good flash hider.
>Machete: bigger than a knife, not quite a sword.
>GD buttplug: more suppression than a flash hider, not quite a suppressor.
It's the machete of muzzle devices. I want one.
This, he is delusional, hence why it won the NGSW program.
>some old fat fuck retards are the end all be all to weapon design
nah
This weird deviant art tier version of this rifle gets me a little hard ngl
>Scope mount backwards
>DP12 forend
Huh, neat.
Stowage
I won't don't worry
I remember what they really took from us.
Imagine all the 249 ammo distributed around the squad is instead carried directly by the 249 gunner and it still reducing their load by several pounds.
they can take that and keep it
I miss this lil bro like you wouldn't believe.
This thing is almost the same weight and size of actual DMRs, and not only that but it's also somehow has an effective range of 1000 meters?
How's that even possible? I can't believe this got killed off.
I get the feeling we could achieve that a PKM clone chambering 7.62 with a polymer cartridge and the magic propellant.
No

Wait, or did you mean x39?
Let's go even deeper and reduce even more weight. A bullpup LSAT LMG.
Get ready for "Sig Lied, Soldiers Died"
Is that a FAMAS?
bullpupfags are the futafags of the gun world
I agree with them and I understand their love but it just doesn't really end up working if you think about it hard enough and it can never exist as the standard
>bullpupfags are the futafags
What am I reading
idk
Meme shit aside that is such a clean loadout
>retard thinks about something REALLY hard and reaches a conclusion
well that's it then, you've settled the bullpup debate
>ARfags are mindless coomers
explains a lot, especially all the degenerates in /arg/
we were so close too
I liked the desert colored one
The entire program was retarded but SIG winning was the best outcome.
FN's .264 LICC is closer to what i think is the right direction.
Honestly I'm excited for .264 LICC MA (machined aluminum) Ball
Give me a civilian version in more common chamberings at a less retarded price than the Spear.
>Sig Spear MSRPs for like 8 grand
>not even available in their new meme cartridge
This bullpup in particular was just not good.
Explain "not good"
suppressor looks more like some ridiculous thing that's more or less not useful for what it's intended and somehow useful. Bad trigger because bullpup and if we're being honest a lack of originality when it comes to their "lmg". Which is just their fucking rifle with a bipod.

I defended nothing. Pointing out that you are talking out of your ass is not an argument for the rifle, brainlet, its just an argument against you.
>suppressor looks more like some ridiculous thing that's more or less not useful for what it's intended and somehow useful
lolwat? For your sake I hope you're drunk.

what's up with the loudenboomer on the end

I hope not. The plastic ammo is revolutionary. It has much more promise than flechette double round technology

Shit bait not even going to read the rest
>The anti-bullpup schizo is still sweeping bullpup threads like an autistic hawk and seething about them
I'm begging you to get a job you schizo
To be honest, I think ths one looks like shit.
There, I said it.
I prefer the other entries, this one looks like a Toddler designesd it.
Don't worry RM277, I'll save you from page 11.
heh, Bullflop rifle. better add it to the pile.
This is the new XM8. All of the video games have been adding this bad boy
And the new SCAR. and ACR. And XM25
