How can Aule create the dwarves if Melkor can't create? He made orcs, goblins, trolls, nazgul fellbeasts, etc.
Tolkien never decided on a definitive origin for the orcs. He wrote several versions over the years, and Christopher just chose to include the 'corrupted elves' one for the edited-together Silmarillion.
Both did create, and neither from nothing.
Aule’s creation was out of an endearing impatience to experience Eru’s creation before its time. Melkor’s was to exert control over things and *be* Eru.
So are the orcs, he controls all of them simultaneously. You're also making me question how the frick Uruk-hai are seemingly sentient. Saruman, a maiar with limited wizard powers so he can walk among Arda, has the ability to create life now? They won't have the secret fire (free will) of course but they were created and exist outside of their creator.
They did not originally have free will until it was granted to them in an act of charity
Then Ilúvatar spoke to Aulë, asking why he would seek to exceed his power and authority by attempting to make new life. Aulë repented, answering that the drive to create was kindled in him by Ilúvatar, and that he only wished for other beings to love and teach, with whom to share the beauty of the world. He admitted that his impatience had driven him to folly and submitted his creations to Ilúvatar’s will. Assuming that they should be destroyed, he made to smite the seven Fathers of the Dwarves with a great hammer. As he raised the hammer the Dwarves shrank from the coming blow, but Ilúvatar stayed Aulë's hand and showed that he had accepted Aulë's creations, and given the Dwarves spirits of their own, else they could not have been afraid.

I just looked it up. The guy had a collection of 39 guns. 38 of them were Jersey legal but the Kriss Vector had a pair of 13-round magazines (the limit was lowered from 15 to 10 in 2018) and it also "violated the assault weapons ban," likely due to its adjustable stock
Remmebr you keep telling us that the second amendemnt is magical and that the USA is teh land of the free and that new York, new Jersey etc is fine even though shit like this and arresting again schoolteachers who have an antique flintlock pistol and threatening them with years in prison is the norm for a lot of places in the US now due to local ordinance. MILLVILLE -- The attorney of the 72-year-old man who could face 10 years in state prison for possession of an antique gun said his client has been subject to a smear campaign for standing up to New Jersey's harsh gun laws.
Evan Nappen, attorney for Gordon Van Gilder, said his client was returning home after retrieving a nearly-300-year-old flintlock pistol from a Vineland pawn shop when his vehicle was pulled over by Cumberland County sheriff's officers on Nov. 19.
Sheriff Robert Austino said Friday the reason Van Gilder's vehicle was pulled over was because it driving suspiciously in a "known drug area." Van Gilder immediately told officers about the firearm when they initiated the stop.
Nappen said Van Gilder was returning to his home in Port Elizabeth and got caught behind a school bus on 2nd Street, a state highway, when the vehicle was stopped.
"You're telling me anybody driving on that highway, if an officer believes there is suspicious activity, whatever that means, you're subject to being stopped and searched," Nappen asked of the sheriff's claims.
Austino issued a statement last week saying it was not a case of the police picking on an "elderly" gun collector and alleged that Van Gilder admitted that they were in the area to buy drugs.
Nappen said Monday his client vehemently denies that claim, and said anyone who knows Van Gidler knows that he doesn't use drugs.
>Sheriff attests that old frick was DEFINITELY buying drugs, his own dealer lives a mere 10 miles from there, assuredly not targeted any other way and certainly not the police singling out an old fart known for collecting firearms. Known to some, but not us. Definitely not us, we're above that.

If he was on 'drug charges' how come he was not arrested on the spot?
Gordon Van Gilder, a 72-year-old retired schoolteacher in New Jersey, faces a 10-year prison sentence for possessing an unloaded 18th-century flintlock pistol in his car.
Mr. Van Gilder, a collector of 18th-century memorabilia, said he had the gun unloaded and wrapped in a cloth in the glove compartment of his vehicle when he was pulled over in November by a Cumberland County sheriff’s deputy for a minor traffic violation, according to a video posted last week by NRA News.
After consenting to a search of his vehicle, Mr. Van Gilder said he alerted the deputy of the pistol in his glove box. The deputy let him go that night, but four police officers showed up at his home the next morning with an arrest warrant, he told NRA News.
>As Sheriff, he established the T.R.I.A.D. Program. This program is a crime prevention and safety program for people over 55 aimed to teach older adults ways to prevent becoming a victim of crime. T.R.I.A.D. seeks to build partnerships between senior citizens and law enforcement to share information on how seniors can avoid becoming victims of crime and enhance the safety and quality of their lives.

For example I know well of one country where centre fire bolt-action repeaters that should be licenced are just sold openly at auction every day and given to the seller no questions asked as long as it is to a farmer in the locality and that is normal. I have seen a crate of Thompsons new and greased being thrown in as sweeteners for a second hand tractor deal between two farmers. I also have good American friends who I would give my right arm for and they don't own guns, usually due to the women even if they are from military families. What I am trying to say is that the 2A means frick all and nothing. I love guns and thing it is vital for the health of a nation that its rural areas have family farms that are gun owners. That was true of ancient Rome and it is true of all countries now. You need the source of food production in any nation to be able to protect that resource to some extent in the event of civil unrest or you get starvation. That is to one side. The reason that guns and freedom are linked in the USA is simple, it was the British implementing a confiscation of arms that triggered the American revolution that founded the state. There is a serious culture of non co-operation with ANY firearms law in rural areas by people who would have a conservative profile in places like France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland etc etc for similar reason (cultural memory of arms sweeps by occupying forces). However FIREARMS as in personal weapons are not the source of freedom anywhere. What won the US revolution was Washington's head of artillery and the French navy's guns. Similarly cannon were the battlefield deciders in the Georgian era not small arms or massed muskets. Artillery=Money. It really is that simple. That means a state actor, like the French supplying the USA or the USA supplying Ukraine. Interestingly the incidents in the USA which go to prove this point is the The Battle of Blair Mountain, an incredible event in American history resulting in the US air force dropping chemical weapons on US rebels and quite large engagements. Without heavy weapons the miners were ripped apart by belt fed guns etc. Small arms buy you nothing and it is also if you quietly go and look why the leaders of the whiskey rebellion quit when Washington arrived, they had no cannon.
By August 29 battle was fully joined. Chafin's men, though outnumbered, had the advantage of higher positions and better weaponry. Private planes were hired to drop homemade bombs on the miners. A combination of poison gas and explosive bombs left over from World War I were dropped in several locations near the towns of Jeffery, Sharples and Blair. At least one did not explode and was recovered by the miners; it was used months later to great effect as evidence for the defense during treason and murder trials. On orders from General Billy Mitchell, Army bombers from Maryland were also used for aerial surveillance. One Martin bomber crashed on its return flight, killing the three crew members.

>What won the US revolution was Washington's head of artillery and the French navy's guns
Should I tell you that the Founders allowed people to own such cannons too? As well, Washington was only technically with federal forces, he gathered the local citizen's militias as his army and they were merely recruited under the federal militia law to serve as a federal force. These cannons were not state-owned, private citizens brought their own weapons.
Right to Bear Arms, ALL arms. Recreational nukes are unironically something closer to what the Founders intended than what we have today. >The Battle of Blair Mountain, an incredible event in American history resulting in the US air force dropping chemical weapons on US rebels and quite large engagements. Without heavy weapons the miners were ripped apart by belt fed guns etc.
There were nearly 10,000 miners, only 50-100 died. Even assuming it was 100, that's still a very small number. Far more were arrested, 985 of them. At most, a tenth of their number was lost and the majority were taken captive rather than being killed.
Not only this but the army (not the air force, that didn't even exist until 1947, all air operations were performed by the other branches until then) didn't do most of this. The local police did, using private planes and privately bought guns. The miners were mostly veterans and were unwilling to fire on the army when they finally arrived, most of them laid down their arms and surrendered because they felt kinship with the military and didn't want to kill them, not because they were afraid. American thing.
The takeaway is to stop sucking the military's wiener and fricking shoot them if you're gonna stage a rebellion like that, literally all of them just didn't want to do it and stopped before they got that far. The other takeaway is that either you don't know as much as you think you do about these events or you're doing this intentionally. I'm going to be benevolent and assume the former.

97.5% of Irishmen have never owned a firearm, semiauto weapons are illegal in Ireland, all Irish handguns were confiscated without compensation in 1972, paintball and airsoft guns have been as illegal as firearms since 2009, and violation of any of these laws is punishable by a mandatory minimum five years in prison.

If you can't read law don't comment on it. restricted does not mean banned. restricted means going by the law you need a licence approved, which also applies there to 22 rifles and shotguns etc. You are wrong. By the way, Ireland has a disproportionally large quantity of unlicensed firearms. This is an issue that predates the modern problems in Northern Ireland.

I actually can comment on this as I have a great interest in black market firearms and gun running. Ireland is awash with 'illegal' firearms but not modern ones. Mostly stuff from pre 1950. There are a lot of reasons for that and obviously you will only find the people holding such weapons in families that had an adult in the household in that epoch. At certain points holding weapons in Ireland was literally a death sentence however this is countered by the fact that a lot of rural Ireland is very remote and underpopulated and a 'needle in a haystack'. >TLDR The Irish most likely to have a Bren gun in the basement are also the ones least likely to tell you. Figures and estimates from Ireland indicate there are a LOT of such weapons in basements even if the factions in the troubles all fully disarmed. They had a civil war in the 1920s.

It has been estimated that as many as 150,000 unregistered firearms might also be in private possession in Ireland,22 suggesting a total civilian stockpile of 393,000. If true, this would yield a rate of 9.1 private firearms per 100 population, both legal and illegal.
https://www.gunpolicy.org/firearms/region/cp/ireland
I picked a simple source for you (there is some excellent material on the European black market for guns produced by the EU). There are about 230,000 registered firearms in Ireland and about 150,000 illegal. To answer your point
>e "but every Irish lad's secretly got his uncle's Bren gun in the basement" shit that exists solely in your imagination
38% of all the guns held in Ireland are held illegally in someone's basement. Further to that, most analysts including me would see that as being low. Its probably nearer 50% legal and 50% illegal with about 230K 'illegal weapons'. These are mainly bolt action centrefire and lever action centrefire rifles, centrefire revolvers and pre-1950 semi automatic pistols such as PPKs and lugers, nagants, webleys, etc mostly what could be termed milsurp. I am not discussing things like the missing SKSs from North Korea, they would be in addition.

>TLDR The Irish most likely to have a Bren gun in the basement are also the ones least likely to tell you. Figures and estimates from Ireland indicate there are a LOT of such weapons in basements even if the factions in the troubles all fully disarmed. They had a civil war in the 1920s.
>This is where you make up some "but every Irish lad's secretly got his uncle's Bren gun in the basement" shit that exists solely in your imagination because real life isn't Hot Fuzz
It has been estimated that as many as 150,000 unregistered firearms might also be in private possession in Ireland,22 suggesting a total civilian stockpile of 393,000. If true, this would yield a rate of 9.1 private firearms per 100 population, both legal and illegal.

I am not discussing things like the missing SKSs from North Korea, they would be in addition.
>t. assblasted euro
nice cherrypicking, homosexual, didn't know those were in season over there
New York State population in 2022 is estimated to be 19.41 million New Jersey population in 2022 is estimated to be 9.22 million. A total of 28.63 Million. the U.S. Census Bureau projects the United States population will be 332,403,650 on Jan. 1, 2022
That's 8.6% of the US population JUST in New York and New Jersey . Pretty big fat cherry.
Now do gun ownership per capita lil cucky. 😉
Remember, seethe more. homosexual.
The seethe is all yours. Stop fetishizing useless old bits of parchment unless you can explain to me how they matter in New York.
>Europoor still seething
Bruen btfoing your cope argument literally by the minute.
Excluding the illegal one, why does it matter he has 38 firearms? I know people who convert entire rooms into gun safes.
I agree with anon. The red line has been crossed over and over but anons will always cope, and boomers will never do anything.
They're siezing firearms from lawful citizens. You aren't allowed to own any kind of modern "destructive device" or buy a machine gun that isn't $15,000 + $200 tax and the legal equivalent of an ankle bracelet Return to your cope closets 2A sisters.
>evil cannot create anything new
>government creates nothing but debt
>therefore government is evil
That checks out
So does your post number.
>imagine this being illegal anywhere in the states
Sad.
