NATO to send troops against Russia

>NATO is drawing up plans to send American troops to the frontlines of Europe in the event of an all-out conflict with Russia, it has been revealed.

>New 'land corridors' are being carved out to quickly funnel soldiers through central Europe without local bureaucratic impediments, allowing NATO forces to pounce in an instant should Putin's devastating war in Ukraine move further west.

I think the only relevant point here is NATO revealing clear intent to defend Baltics without letting them get run over by Russia before, as was reportedly the strategy pre 2022.
Steadfast Defender 2024 was a dry run for this manuever, the biggest one NATO has had since the cold war, and these new plans are just the newest iteration based on what was learnt during the exercise

Well, there is now Gotland for unsinkable carrier and the possibility to supply troops in baltic states through Finnish docks if they get cut off in suwalki gap.
Not to mention the new baltic efforts to actually fortify the border areas

I think picrel was in the Telegraph. The two things that stood out to me were the new northernmost grouping (big hello and welcome to NATO's 31st and 32nd members!), and the one that goes from Italy to a staging area in Hungary, possibly to ensure Orban doesn't get any bright ideas.

Why are so many people convinced Russia is going to start an all out war with NATO? Ukraine isn’t part if NATO and Russia has ground it’s military capabilities down in a bloody stalemate there. They don’t have the ability to launch a serious attack against NATO at this point. They weren’t able to even do anything to help Armenia.

The Russians don't fall for bluff (they're masters at it) or bluster, so merely being belligerent towards them doesn't work, but the biggest mistake the West can make is being scared of them or giving Russia the impression that the West wants peace at any price. Russians are a bunch of prison b***hes and charm means nothing to these people, and they have to understand that NATO is willing to blow them to hell, and if they send us to hell too we'll be there waiting for them. Does that make sense?

You need to declare foodstuff not coming from Europe no exceptions. That's why you train. To give these things and fixing them. For all the political boondoggles of the cold war, I think we can retrospectively say the US's staunch, and sometimes underhanded opposition to communism was a good thing. A month before the invasion a MEU was ordered to deploy to Europe — and they failed to go. The reason? The necessary ships were not ready so the force stayed at home. That’s the reality of the current state of the US military — large but with severely degraded readiness due to budget cuts and dropping recruitment. The real reason behind the US’s constant failures to use force over the last decade isn’t due to an unlucky string of weak admins, it’s due to those admins being forced to find less-military options because the military can no longer succeed.
