My sling fucking sucks and I need a new one

I got this "S2Delta" sling for free and I hate it so god damn much.

The way it's designed the actual padded section of the sling rides down my back rather than on my shoulder. Additionally, there's absolutely no way you can cut this thing to adjust the length due to the way they sewed it.

Anyone know of a sling that doesn't have these issues?

Vickers is king, Edward Sherman are pretty good too, and cheaper.

How's the ride height on the vickers pad?

vickers slings. thought it was overhyped until i bought one. they're the only one with the brains to not use shitty ass webbing

buy them from lanbo's armory. for the price they charge, it is retarded to go with any other slings.

I bought a Vickers, figured I'd go unpadded to save a few bucks, it's ok, but then I bought a padded, now I have a padded on my AR10, and shotgun, and the unpadded on my AR15.
I don't think I'll buy anything but the Vickers padded now, I have a few cheaper ones, some no name bungee single point, a magpul something, they suck.

On a similar note, I want a good singlepoint sling for my pcc that doesn't really have a good point to attach a front qd point or even a non qd point.
Is there anyone that makes a good purposefully made singlepoint sling, or is it all cheap knockoffs of a long dead product?

I had to google it to see just how bad it is, it looks pretty shitty, overdesigned and underwhelming.

There are a couple of ways you could modify it to be usable at least until you get something better. Cut it off where the quick release buckle fork portion connects and use a loop of paracord to fix it to your rifle, this will save you 6 to 8 inches that they don't let you have with their shitty design. That should allow you to have the wider webbing, which from what I can tell isn't actually padded but will at least diateibute the weight better, sit properly for you.

Just give up and buy a Vickers padded for every rifle you own, because that's where you will wind up anyway. I have gone through a thousand dollars worth of slings only to end up with the Vickers on everything and a box full of lesser slings in my gun room.

Is VTAC wide padded sling good?

it's alright, but you'll get a long slack once you tighten your sling all the way, which may snag onto something at the most inconvenient time. Perhaps look into other more up-to-date options like Ferro Slingster, Vickers sling, or even SIERRATAC Padded Sling
