Are you serious? The Grot is an unashamed ACR clone. They added the gimmick of a bullpup conversion, but the rifle itself is borderline IP theft. Fitting for polacks, really. I see theyve added a buffer tube in new version to make the steal less blatant. At least germoids added a piston when they copied someones homework.

You can turn it into a bullpup by replacing just 3 modules and with a couple of pins. All in under 5 minutes. That's 10/10, pure modular and state-of-the-art fun.
Its fuck ass heavy for a 5.56 gun im pretty sure its 1 oz heavier than a hk416. They could reduce weight by redesigning the entire upper receiver to not use a steel trunnion that has 6 screws to fix to the metal extrusion that the barrel extension fits into.
It's not that heavy. It's lighter than a SCAR which weighs 4.1kg. A2 weighed 3.7kg. Even then that's not scarily (pun intended) heavy, troops use it and love it, it's battle tested.
And this one weighs less.
The barrel got shortened because troops asked for it. The trend is moving toward shorter barrels.

Sorry, I'm a poorgay Pole, I don't own many Western rifles. I go to the shooting range once a month. But there was some rifle that weighs 4.1 kg, maybe it was some HK or masada or XM-1 or whatever the fuck... excuse my ignorance. But 3.7kg isn't THAT bad. It is pretty heavy, but:

The grot has potential but sadly it has to be too many things in one, bullpup ect. You end up carrying additional weight and bulk in either set up when 2 different guns is the better solution.

And it sucks ass for the soldier who has to carry it... with optics, laser and light its 13-14 pounds and that is pretty unacceptable
With optics laser and light M4 is heavier too. A3 is lighter than 3.7 kg. Unless they fucked something up, it's probably 3.4kg or lighter.

8.2 pounds unloaded for a gun that has no advantage over a 6.4 pound M4. Not to mention the cracking bolt carriers, shitty surface treatments that lead to rust and the plastic charging handle breaking problems.

The American market is huge. Also, from my customary Google they’re like 1700 dollars in the European market, so if it’s with the normal Euro market markup it’s going to massively undercut a lot of its competitors in the same style of firearm. Which once again, would be huge in the American consumer market.
If it can come in with the features it has at the same price point as nicer AR’s then it could really get a foothold.
Actually, there is no competitor. This is a truly modular rifle that you can easily change into a bullpup in under 5 minutes by swapping 3 big modules for 3 bullpup ones. The modules are shaped such that you don't need any license or shit and can easily order them online. Bullpup modules alone are supposed to cost a few hundred bucks. So you get a sorta 2-in-1 deal, a standard rifle and a bullpup rifle, for a little over $2k. I think that's a pretty sweet deal. Bullpup enters mass production later this year or next year

They need to supply the Polish Army, also I remember Ukraine ordered a bunch, plus whatever African tier Grots. But they don't say much about their numbers and how much was already supplied so who knows

The answer is simple. The differences between iterations of M16/M4 are greater than the differences between iterations of MSBS. The biggest jump was from A0 to A1, then a smaller but still significant jump from A1 to A2, finally it's a very capable weapon, and it has now received this incremental improvement in the form of the A3 ver after feedback from experience in Ukraine
Even then, the differences are smaller than between the iterations of AR-15
