So you're some kind of retard?

If you can't turn two screws, have a nice day.

i'm not aware of any other screws that have 10+ minute youtube tutorials. great design

It's because the only people who would need to look up a tutorial are going to be fucking retards who need 10+ minute explanations.

This is a you problem OP. Nobody had to teach me to M-LOK, because it's in no way difficult or complicated.

Mlok takes about less then a minute to put on.

Imagine getting filtered by a retard proof design.
      >piece goes in slot
      >piece gets turned
      >part stays attached to slot

I bet you think you need a full length top rail too.

For me, most of the time M-lok works this way. However, some times

i cant figure out how to get mines on either. i turn the screw but the base under the guard just keeps turning around in circles and not tightening. it seems like a part is missing or something

happens. Typically the little locking nut is too far out on the screw/bolt, and there is inadequate tension between the inside of the slot and the nut for the nut to actually stop rotating at it's proper spot perpendicular to the slot. What typically resolves that is taking the attachment off, and hand tightening the screw into the nut a ~1/8th of a turn or so, and then putting it back in and giving it another go.

I have a lot of MLOK, it's not fucking difficult OP if you need a YouTube tutorial and an hour to figure this shit out you probably need the same to take a piss.

i think the issue is that i need pliers or something to get past the threadlocker

If theres to much lock tight, ive always tightened the t bolt down prior to placing it in the rail, this will force any additional lock tight to come off and what will remain is what inside the threads. The best way ive learned to put m lok on rails is to tighten the t bolt a little further down, slide the t bolt into the rail, do a 45 degree turn on each screw and pull to apply pressure. Once its all snug(not tight) ill use that test pressure on each side of the rail and make sure each screw is seated properly, then all you do apply pressure again and finish tightening.

Also one thing to consider is if your placing a rail near a gas tube/block, or if you have a thick ass barrel like mine, your screw might end up being to long and you’ll need to cut it

Pull upward just a tad, it will put some tension on the nut

Literally just pull the T-Nut into the slot where it's fucking supposed to be.

The nubbin' of the T-Nut goes in the slot, that's the fucking point. It's what does the job of stopping the T-Nut from rotating in the slot while you tighten the screw.

        M-LOK install should take < 1 minute.

If you get filtered by the second most retard proof attachment system right after picatinny, you have no business handling firearms to begin with.

you can fix that by using washers from your local hardware store, it'll provide enough "stand off distance" to allow the screws to engage but not touch the gas block

you can add or remove whatever you want, all you need is a couple screws and T-nuts, vs always having rails or no rails and needing to change furniture

basically gun manufacturers don't have to piss around with making sure they have rail options for everyone or telling people to go buy custom furniture.
