100% Americans found a missing link of Evolution in Cambodia/Vietnam. The throwing rocks monkey. And we should sent people there to investigate. But I think there is no will to find the monkeys because their existence would frick up our definition of "human" by a Mile. The world would turn ugly. So maybe all those bombs were also for them.

My father was a refugee and said that there was a white man who traversed with them taking photos as they escaped. He said they killed a large ape as they ran away from the war in the jungles with their muzzle loaders and even photographed it. Pops and the white guy parted ways when they reached thailand saying that he'll contact my father once he touches down but that guy never did. Till this day my day my dad always keeps his 1911 by his side.

Imagine if we find a missing link or a hominid. Then what?He can't be consider human for obvious reasons, and he can't be consider an animal because he is way too intelligent. The entire anti racist rhetoric is gonna get screwed and religione as well.

If you stay up around graveyard shift picquet in DTA2 in Puckapunyal, the inside-out man might pay you a visit. He’s this thing that crawls around on all fours upside down with his wiener facing the sky, and all of his organs on the outside of his skin, flopping around his skeletal, auschwitzmode looking body. If he sees you, he’ll emit an ear-piercing screech and wait to see if you move. DO NOT FRICKING MOVE. If you move he’ll kill you. You find a lot of bones around DTA2, and most of them are shit like roo skulls and ribs, but every now and then you find a human femur or ribs that look too big to be from a roo, and you wonder if the inside out man’s been making his rounds.

That thing with finding large dead animals in trees is something that happens in america too, theres photos of it, it looks real wierd. Supposedly the scuttlebutt is that its bigfoots or some kind of similar critter that does this. I myself dont think it is bigfoot, everything points at something far more fearsome - a sluagh, or host of the air. No bullshit, this post is 100% serious. I've read a first person report from american outdoorsmen who (indirectly) eyewitnessed something that has to be a sluagh since it fits the historical description, and some of the missing 411 cases, like the Black that was part of a highway shoulder cleaning crew, are clearly the works of a sluagh. Unlike bigfoots the sluagh is in invisible mode 100% of the time. It is like a flock of hundreds of invisible birds, its mass is huge, it can make a large tree bend like a bow.

              >That's silly anon. A bipedal ape doesn't have to be supernatural.

Just because it looks like an ape doesnt mean that it isnt supernatural. You have a too narrow view of reality. Bigfoot would have been found long ago if it was a physical creature. They are so closely related to humans that they can interbreed with us. The offspring is a somewhat less hairy bigfoot. American indians have had much greater interaction with these entities than european settlers.

Where can this footage be found?

              >Where can this footage be found?

In general, the american continent is a high probability area for hostile paranormal encounters, particulary central and north america. This is in sharp contrast to paranormal encounters in the kursk anomaly, which are friendly. The reason is that at the end of the great war in heaven, outlaw greater and lesser gods were cornered in north america by the white gods and their allies, but they were not decisively defeated before what the indians call the "kali yuga" or dark age began. This is some kind of warp storm or equvivalent that occludes the black sun. It started >5000 years ago and is supposed to have ended in 2012, but it seems that it is still ongoing but weaker and weaker. These outlaw greater and lesser gods are these space lizards, bigfoots, sluaghs, wendigos, some wierd ass african god that looks like a haystack, pughwooksies, etc etc that you can find in american folklore. I could go on and on about this but this is K and not X. There seems to have been some kind of border skirmish in russian yakutia in the last 50 years where the outlaw gods were ejected by spirits friendly to man.

BTW, dont shoot at bigfoots, many of them are buttholes, but there are those who are friendly towards man.

Sasquatch’s are flesh and blood. They have been found but are kept under raps by the government because they are low in numbers and hide themselves. They’re hominids that never evolved tool use so they are creatures almost as smart as a man yet have a large wild animals strength and bushcraft. The idea that they are some supernatural entities comes from some natives Amerinds lore because they didn’t know how to explain the infrasound they produce and glows trying to make lite of the issue.

Neighbors are Mexican. Yeah yeah, /misc/ shit, they're good people, paterfamilias is ex Mexican Marinas turned US Marine. They like me because I served and I know a lot of dick jokes. Anyway I get invited for a family party and all the dudes are talking family saints. This is how it works, the men hang with the men, the women with the women, kids with kids. Anyway, these people literally replaced their old gods with Catholic saints, different families pray to different saints as their "primary", and to other saints for specific shit ... safe passage, good luck, etc. Anyway I get a couple beers in me and I'm like, I'm gonna participate! I dig deep into my Breaking Bad lore and spout out of nowhere
        >"So what's up with Santa Muerte?"
This was the only time in my life I got the music screeching to a halt, everyone looking at me mouths hanging open shit. The one other white dude there, another ex Marine married into the family looks at me and gives me a shallow head shake, total "shut your mouth, bro" shit. Neighbor looks at me like I asked to frick his daughter and says
        >"We don't talk about that ... thing ... here, anon"
These are some hardass half-border-jumping-half-shitkicking south Texas Mexicanos and I said that term and it was like I summoned a demon or something.

The catholics became week and halfassed the christianization of mexico and greater south america. Spics, like anon said, treat saints like gods. Santa muerte is a death god. As a tangent the mexicans are starting to get more into "magic" and cults, including death cults and as the cartels spill over the border expect more ritual murders.

The Santa Muerte was a result of synchrenism when the Catholic church was converting people to Christianity. One of the surviving Aztec gods was modified and mixed with a Chrsirian-esque theme and became the Santa Muerte in order to survive Catholic society. Nowadays it's used mostly by criminals, though her popularity is increasing amongst normal people.

This is true for ancient Europeans, too; Christmas, easter, and Halloween have so many pagan traditions in them.
I mean, St Augustine even brings this up in a letter to the pope, but the pope argues that atagonising new converts isnt the right path.

It's not a joke, they're in there with all of the other beaner statuettes and the quincenera dresses and whatever. It's just where fresh illegals do their shopping. Some of them hold to the SM cult, some don't. Nbd, nobody is freaking out about it, the only person laughing about it is my gringo ass. I should try to buy one next time I restock on a case of quart Valentina bottles, and see what they say.

            >What are some supernatural/paranormal military stories? Like the Operation Artic Ultima or The Giant of Kandahar.
There was a ghost that contaminated the Fort Dix hospital in New Jersey (WALSON ARMY HOSPITAL opened 1960, closed 2001). The ghost delayed demolition by a few years until they could get a paranormal team to do the deed. Other stories include the basement was completely filled with cement without even moving furniture out, because they were trying to build a super soldier in the basement (Think seriously why Fort Dix has "THE ULTIMATE WEAPON" monument). There were lights turning on and off despite being abandoned, loud noises, etc. The Fort Dix hospital historically had the highest infant mortality rate like no other. Here's a photo I snapped in Oct 2016. My overall time at JB MDL (305 MXS) was somewhat /x/ but in a bad and shitty way.

thats not even the weirdest thing at ft dix. they brought 5 crashed ships there in 1940. my great grandfather was out there then and saw them bringing it in at 4 AM while on his Ice truck route along the shore. he had seen things coming in hot along island heights in 1935. he was involved in bootlegging and was always out all night. he saw a ship land by waretown back then. he said it looked like a big top tent shape on its side, "the strangest damn thing".

he saw the jersey devil then too. he said it looked sick and dying.

As someone who’s been around Mexicans my whole life (my side of the state is filled with them due to the agriculture industry and easy factory work for good pay), do NOT ask about death or anything pertaining to the afterlife. They are very traumatized it seems, culturally speaking. Santa Muerte is a figure that is mainly associated with death and passing on to the afterlife. Like a grim reaper, but the figure is female, and they use actual human skeletons, often murder victims, as the figure. It’s close to paganism, like one anon said.

Yeah it's not so much Santa Muerte but the people who venerate Santa Muerte. You basically just asked "Hey you got a cartel hook-up? 'Cause I need some of that disco shit."

They know me well enough to know I wasn't asking for drugs. Hardest thing I do is Coors Light. Their reaction was to whatever they perceive santa muerte to be, or maybe it's followers, but definitely not a blow hookup.

There is a legend going that our garrison had to stop using one nearby area as a camping practice area because because privates complained about constantly seeing ghosts and hearing gunfire even though it was nowhere near live firing grounds.
Area is also pretty close where one of WW2 battles happened.

What country? Did the ghosts have any identifiable equipment?

Finland, and the ghosts are supposedly pretty unidenfiable shadows in the woods. Visible enough to frick with guys in the guard duty, but not enough to be visually recognizable.
The gunfire though was bigger thing, supposedly it sounded like full fledged assault and whoke up the whole tents before suddenly stopping.

NCOs are just fricking with you :D.

I did this a couple of times. The fire keeper wakes me up at night, tell him I have some meeting with the officers or something. I have reloaded a light machine gun (kvkk) with blanks and hid it on to a car. A hundred rounds belt. Go to opposite direction of our positions. About 3km walk. I know where the next platoons tents were (same battery) went close by started crawling towards them. I could see them and hear them talking. Made weird sounds on purpose. They made an alarm, see the shadows run to the trenches. Start blasting with the KvKK, see +30 muzzle flashes blinking towards me. It's beautiful.

There was also lots of fricking with the guards just for fun. Not only the ones in trenches, but with the firekeepers in the tent too. Just trying to keep my soldiers Alive homie.

Also would like to add. The ghost aren't actually ghosts. We had them in western Finland too, it's just you mind playing tricks on you. One time I could swear I saw a soldier with modern equipment walking towards me on all fours, with his shoulders dislocated and in weird inhuman posture. Twisting it's head like in somekind of horror movie. I was fricking terrified and asked if he's seeing what I'm seeing. He wasn't and I looked closer and it was literally just bush.

You're told there's NCO and people from other units sent to frick with you. It helps your mind conjure up images of people in the forest, when there actually very well could be.

Thats quite possible true, these entities can sense you if you are looking at them (this also goes for ufos), but it appears from witness reports that they cant sense you if you are viewing them indirectly via a TV screen and a camera. Theres a webcam film sequence of a band of bigfoots in snow in yosemite national park where the bigfoot clearly does not notice or do not care that it is being filmed.

    >>Be me,

Live in Cambodia for 10 years,
Most people, even rich and well educated, swear to have seen spookum stuff (ghosts, spirits and/or demons).
Even a lot of the guys with a master/bachelor degree, bmw driving, living in the relatively modern capital are often dead serious saying that at least once have seen some kind of spookum.
I have never seen a spookum but heard plenty of real stories that are borderline spookum stuff but tragically real (to name one, during the war some people belived that ripping off an unborn fetus from a mother by cutting her open can be used to created a powerful amulet made out of the mummified fetus and worn on the body... Google "Kuman Thong magic rituals" if you want more details).

Anyway i don't believe in spookum even if the locals are terrified of them.

One day i am invited to a remote village for a wedding ceremony, went there out of politeness but don't really enjoy it, the food was odd and the praying on the knees was uncomfortable so i decided to have a cigarette and have a walk around the small town on my own.

It's evening, sun just set over the horizon but it's still bright enough to see.

After a short walk without any aim i reach a small intersection where there is a little (bird house sized) little temple looking decoration on a pole about chest high on the side of it. The Place is rather desolate, dirt roads going in a few directions, some wood homes here and there but besides that not much else, to wedding tent is now quite far and there are almost no people around except the odd Honda dream motorcycle passing by.

I went to that location completely randomly and again for no reason i decided to have another cigarette sitting on that corner, specifically on the base of that old little temple decoration.

Some random local passing by looks towards me and makes an high pitched noise and runs away.

    >>...?

Slightly surprised i look around and see nothing so, while a bit uneasy about that behavior

      Anonymous

I don't do anything and just kept smoking my cigarette.
Another guy passes by, this time on a motorcycle pulling an empty cart, guy looks at me, suddenly swerves almost into a small water ditch and drives away at full speed.

      >>...?

Somewhat surprised about this second odd behavior, i look around again, see nothing particular, toss my cigarette butt, check my phone but there is barely a 2G signal so i just decide to look at the read a bit more and listen to the birds making some interesting sounds.

For the third time a local passes by, by this time it's a bit darker and i was thinking of going back, so i stand up about as this stranger drives by me on another old scooter.
She suddenly tried for a U turn falls from the motorbike and screams, i step forward, wanting to check if she was injured but she just stood up as fast as she could and ran away in absolute terror abandoning her motorcycle with the engine still running on the road. The lady definitely get some nasty scrapes on the dirt road full of rocks by falling, she even lost a slipper, but just bolted away.

      >>...??!??!

At this point i am completely weirded out and decide to head back to the wedding tent to get something to drink and to tell them about the motorcycle.

When i tell them about what happened are all quite surprised but several people come to see the motorcycle, those amongst the small group that is coming back to the cross roads that are locals when they arrive they look horrified and upset. Asking me why in hell i decided to sit in that specific spot.

      >>....?

I said no real reason, just it was one decent spot to sit as it wasn't covered in dirt or grass.

The local proceed to tell me that in that spot a long time ago a french policeman (or some kind of tax collector) during the colonial times was murdered quite horribly by the locals because he requested a substantial amount of money for the state based on the size of the nearby farms and the locals didn't want to pay.

        Anonymous

The locals than proceed to say that since than the spirit of that Frenchman, because the locals destroyed his body to hide it and brutally killed him without any funeral, is still regularly appearing in that spot where he was killed, the appearances of this french ghost usually coincided with someone dying in the village.

The spot where this man was killed is exactly were i randomly sat, and the little decoration looking like a small temple was there to put some incense since than to placate the angry sprit.

So for the locals one of the most terrifying local ghosts is a white guy in formal attire. And this is a village that almost never sees foreign visitors and i was a white guy in formal attire sitting just after sunset on the very spot where the french man was murdered.

        >>So it appears... I was the spookum that day.

After leaving the wedding and driving back to the city, a few days later, someone told me that the lady that the man that saw me driving a cart pulled by his moto died from a sudden and unexplained fever and the lady that fell of the motorbike had a bad infection from the scrapes she had from the fall and was sick for a log time before getting better.

Let's just say that i am not welcome in that town anymore as the locals are still convinced that the spookum somehow used me to keep up is never ending revenge on the locals.

Maybe, not planning to go back there anytime soon but it is local tradition to put some small offerings to placate spirits. Maybe the guy is really fed up with Cambodian food.

Nonetheless besides the weird experience i find the existence of a village in Cambodia, a country that has people tough as nails that went through one of the worse genocides in history, where the most terrifying thing to the local people is hearing an "Hon, hon, hon..." coming from the rice fields after sunset, truly hilarious.

Both JRTC and JMRC are said to be haunted by the ghosts of little girls who died at some time or another before the US Army took ownership of the properties. The one at JRTC likes to hide in the woodline and mess with dudes on security in the small hours of the morning. The one in Germany is said to wake sleeping soldiers as she stares at them from inches away before walking through a doorway and vanishing, or to move items around in patrol bases and bivouac buildings.

      Explain all of these anon

        Anonymous

The road leading to NTC is 40 miles of empty desert. They call it "the stretch." It's lined with white crosses from people who died in roadside accidents. MPs who check the stretch regularly report seeing people waving down their cars for help in the middle of the night, appearing to have been involved in accidents, then finding nobody there when they stop their patrol cars.
At 29 Palms there's a faceless Sgt who walks the MOUT towns. He'll wander through buildings while dudes are observing, but when the same building gets cleared there's no one there. Those who have had close encounters report that he has no face, just a blur or a blank stretch of skin where it should be. He seems to appear near and shortly before military accidents, such as rollovers. I think he has a name but I can't remember it off the top of my head.

This is a relative of a friend story but her it goes
    >friend’s dad and grandfather hunting in Virginia
    >walking down a path in the woods that comes to a clearing
    >as they enter the clearing, both notice a sort of cloud in the middle, orange and crystalline, reflecting light - very clearly not just some dust
    >the cloud expands, contracts, turns into a sort of see urchin shape, then slowly starts stretching up into the sky and dissipates
Not your usual monster/bigfoot story, but when my pal told it to me it was rather disturbing. I think if there are some sort of cryptids or alien life visiting this planet it would be something nearly incomprehensible to us as actual animal life. This weird jellyfish like cloud is one of the more believable stories I’ve heard.

I bet it was a tiny whirlwind/dust devil that picked up some wet debris. A clearing like that would be just the kind of place where such winds can form I think.

around 2012-2013 on Camp Pendleton 43 area Las Pulgas there was a notable incident at the 1/11 barracks in which a man wearing cheetah print boxer briefs and nothing else was seen sprinting around the barracks knocking on people's doors and screaming inchoherently.

The incidents became common place and would occur only at night/early morning. Eventually rumors spread that he was stealing underwear out of the laundry rooms and leaving them in random places around the barracks.

One morning there was a pile of skivvie shorts and undies left just infront of the duty hut but the duty had not seen the bandit. Legend grew that he was somewhat of a ghost and no one knew exactly who he was.

Eventually command got wind of this and during a friday safety brief the "Midnight Bandit" was brought up. There was to be no more underwear thievery at the 1/11 barracks and command was actively looking for the unknown marine.

We thought that had put an end to the Bandit's antics but within a few weeks more stray undies were spotted around the barracks and now elsewhere in 43 area. Shortly before I left to a new duty station an incident occured in which a pair of underwear emblazened with mountain dew logos was wrapped around the muzzle brake of a m777a2 howitzer in the 2/11 gunpark.

To my knowledge the Midnight Bandit was never unmasked. Some say his cheetah print undies can still be seen on dark night roaming the barracks of 43 area Las Pulgas, Camp Penleton.

Fair winds and following seas to that Marine.

most recent theories concerning the bermuda triangle are strange but extremely powerful weather phenomena of 200mph downward winds generally in a hexagon shaped region. exact reason this is supposed to happen was not covered in the article.
it would suggest that the bottom of the bermuda region should have quite a few wrecks.

A few I heard in Afghan from tribal types living in very remote areas (I am fluent in Pashto)
    > We summon demons to possess dogs so that they will listen flawlessly to our commands and find things for us
    > Our sunglasses allow us to see through women's clothing so we can gaze lustfully upon their private parts
    > US marines are venomous, and they spit this dark substance everywhere we go to poison crops, cause miscarriages, and stunt children's growth
    > To become a US Marine you must first murder your father to even be considered for enlisting

Also on several occasions when trying to get info on where stuff is I would be told that there were dragons or monsters in the vicinity of the place I asked about. I still am not very sure if they actually thought there were mythical creatures guarding certain places, or if it was just a childish attempt to try to convince me not to go there.

There is a guard post at al assad airbase built practically on top of a pre gulf war era mass grave where they dumped and buried a bunch of saddam's political enemies. It was known as the ghost post (not to be confused with the practice of building a fake post on a FOB as a decoy.) Spooky shit used to happen out there. Radios were super wonky. People heard stuff in the dark, usually from beneath the tower.

Phantom figures out in the jungle at Camp Bellows in Hawaii.

No consistent description, some described them as wearing old M83 woodlands and gear that was 20 years obsolete.

Multiple people would see them on patrol, we would move to investigate thinking they were OPFOR, they'd run off into the treeline, we would move to their last confirmed position and find no trace.

When we'd debrief and bring it up we were told that there was nobody, not OPFOR, Army or another Marine unit operating anywhere near there.

Some said they were Night Marchers but we saw them in daylight as well as night time.

There's supposedly a few haunted outposts in the Stan. An army unit was relieving bongs from one of these outposts, and the bongs told them if you dig something up, don't touch it, or immediately put it back. Of course the soldiers laughed it off then a bunch of spooky shit happened, like guys in firewatch having their necks breathed on, one unit even got into a firefight with an actual ghost army, when it was over there was no sign of who they thought they were fighting. Some officer in the vicinity saw 2 patrolmen thru his binos, and when he got closer to them they just slowly vanished into thin air. Apparently the outpost had a history of different units, Russian etc, from different wars and countless bodies were buried there. MrBallen has a video on it

    http://nothotbutspicy.com/para/hm/
I stepped off the bus into three fricking feet of snow. I was the only one on the bus, and the driver had laughed viciously when he slammed the door to the bus and roared off in a cloud of deisel fumes.

The building I was looking at was old, white, and covered with snow. It looked vaugely familiar, and there was a path carved through the snow, which went from 3 feet where I was standing, to over my head.

Holy Christ, what did I get myself into?

BOOM BOOM BOOM! Three rapidfire explosions that shake the trees and cause flakes of snow to drift down from their nearly bare branches. I look around, but no sign where it came from. Sighing, I grabbed my duffle out of the snow and headed through the carved snow channel to the building. While I was walking there was another set of explosions. That would explain why all the snow was on the ground but the branches of the trees were bare.

Inside the building wasn't much warmer, but at least Class-A's were warm. I had on my nice shiney E-2 rank, awarded for excellence during training at AIT, and was all giddy and proud of myself.

It took awhile of wandering around, but I found a woman, who offered to call my unit and have them send someone down to get me. She tells them I'll be in the cantina in the building, and then shows me where it is. She comments on my wedding ring, tells me that post housing is at a premium, and the nearest town is a little over 4 miles from post
