So far we have only received the 16 and 11.5 5.56 rifles the 7.62 rifles are hard to find right now. I don’t know what you mean by a “new round” it’s just 7.62x39 nothing in .277 fury.

      >it’s just 7.62x39
So, obviously this shit is still brand new, but have you gotten one of those yet? I know duramag has apparently solved the feeding issue with 7.62 in small frame AR, but have you seen how they've solved the extractor issues yet?

I will say the last time a Sig rifle was produced in 7.62x39 it was phenomenal. I’m by no means a complete Sig die hard I do think some of their products are incredibly overhyped and the marketing does most of the leg work. It is by all accounts a great rifle though from what I’ve had experience with shooting as well as anecdotally by customers and regulars who bought them.

I know, man. I know. Fricking kicking myself for not getting one when I had the chance, but also, since they aren't making them anymore, I'd be nervous putting thousands of rounds through the gun every year anyway.

As far as I can tell the mcx 7.62 bolt isn't any bigger than the regular AR bolt. Which is a big L. We'll have to wait for photos, but since they didn't make a big deal about it in marketing I doubt it solves the bolt issue.
Unimags and recent duramags are g2g. I wish someone made a 25rd stanag other than the unimag. Asc 6.5g won't work unfortunately due to taper.

XCR is the way if you want 7.62. I almost got one of the sigs, but they had some QC issues and dumped it before resolving them.

Really, really wish CMMG would start making the mk47 again.

I saw where Small Arms Solutions gave them a thumbs up. But I still got the fear about those tc-e extractors, anon. I've read 5000 rounds from some people, and others broke the tip off in as little as 500.

It's still got that baby AR bolt, though
              Mutant or XCR solve this

I wonder why manufacturers are gravitating towards using an alan key to to tighten components. Is sandwiching pressure between two sides more efficient? Or is it a cost thing.

I'm going to get the 9" 300BLK version with the matching 300BLK specific suppressor. Been waiting to jump on the 300blk train until exactly what I wanted arrived. The 16" 5.56 gun also looks interesting. Don't really need another 16" 5.56 tho.

        >basically FNC+AR
        >produced longer than sig has been fumbling carbine designs (556xi, mcx gen ????)
        >small iterative improvements, original rifles produced in 2007 can be updated to current spec
        >big bolt, adjustable gas system, ambi controls, FAL charging handle/FA
        >barrel swaps to all the intermediate meme cartridges

        Two downsides to the rifle:
Button rifled chrome barrels (but I haven't shot one out yet)
Long wait times (about 7 months for rifles, 8 for barrels or spare parts orders, everything is JIT)
