Hopefully it's easier to use than the NLAW with it's Rube Goldberg control setup.

RGW made the Matador which is very 'it just werks' so fingers crossed.

They fricked around for like two decades to make this shit and wasted so much taxpayers money.
Should have just bought a license for the US equivalent and call it a day.
Corruption and bureaucracy go hand in hand in our defense industry

      >RGW made the Matador
      nay
RGW is a designation, Recoilless Grenade Weapon

Rafael developed the Matador out of the Armbrust, which was made by Messerschmitt

You mean two switches and hold it on the enemy for 0-3 seconds?
      What do you mean.

First you have to check that your battery is installed and then also charged by doing a battery check and watching the lights, then you have to decide the arming distance and the attack mode (different for light vs heavy armor). Then you have to remove two safeties; with the second saftey off the missile activates and begins to drain the battery which lasts 5-10 minutes.
Then you have to lock the target with the locking lever and holding the pipper over the target; you must aim at the target slightly differently depending on the attack mode.
Now you can fire the weapon by pressing the trigger.

If you did everything right the weapon will fire and hit the target hopefully delivering the desired effect.
If you did something wrong the weapon may not hit the target and/or may explode early, or even worse it may not fire at all.
If you press the trigger and the weapon does not fire, the trigger will remain depressed and make the entire launcher system useless and unable to be fired.
if you try to fix the launcher by physically forcing the trigger to reset, it will not actually fix the launcher and whoever uses it next will find out for themselves when they do everything right and the weapon does not fire.

You must be aware of all of this whilst a 50 ton tank is trying to kill you.

That's a lot of words to say "turn off safety, hold the pipper on target and pull the trigger"

All the other shit sounds like shit you do after you take it out of the box a long time before there's even a tiny chance you might see a tank.

You are about as dumb as a sack of rocks.

The trigger sounds inexcusable if true. There's no reason to brick the thing if you forget a step.
No clue how hard locking on is but the rest of that post is nitpicking.

Well since he's literally making shit up and it's been used by random civies successfully I think we can safely ignore him.

      >Despite being a European joint venture, MBDA has maintained national divisions since its creation: MBDA France, MBDA UK and MBDA Italy.[8][9] They were formed by simply grouping in their respective countries the assets and activities of the various French, British and Italian businesses that had merged to create MBDA.
      >In March 2006, LFK-Lenkflugkörpersysteme GmbH, the German missile subsidiary of EADS, was acquired by MBDA and Spanish assets followed in 2010,[10] leading to the formation of two additional national divisions (MBDA Germany and MBDA Spain).[8]
