So basically the Marines put tomahawks on a truck, what are the implications of this?
Is this the dagger that kills the chinese fleet?

That jeep looks hilarious with a giant misisle launcher tube
Annd there is this thing. I think with 4 of these bad bois you can fortify easy an island.
Am i just retarded or wouldn't the plume from the rockets fry the driver/passenger area? Or are they drone piloted? If jot you obviously wouldn't be in the vehicle when firing, but still
>Or are they drone piloted
Bingo
Reckon that solves the issue, then. Would be awkward to lose connection with though.
Do you SEE a driver/passenger area?
Gonna be honest anon, i don't see all that good.
You ever use the remote to turn on your TV?
The guy has to walk alongside it with a remote control. It's a clunky solution but it's fine for driving onto a boat and then driving off of a boat.
Fucking capybara-looking piece of shit.
Blame Oshkosh
Looks like some unit from a 90s RTS
>That jeep looks hilarious with a giant misisle launcher tube
Par for the course for the USMC.
>That jeep
It's not a jeep. Its a Joint Light Tactical Vehiclethat they're using to phase out Humvees. It's also 20 plus feet long, weighs over 11 tons, made by Lockheed
There's a lot of talk about the US antimissile systems on ships but what does the Chinese have to counter US missile spam?
More ships than missles
i don't think that's true, i think you're being trite
Fishing boats aren't military ships, Ying Ling.
Ha I would destroy you in Age of Empires
>US Navy just sails away for a week or two
>pursuing chinese ships run out of dogs and they all starve
>total US victory
ggez
plenty of missiles of their own. Tomahawks are obselete against any vaguely modern fleet*
*I mean the ukies sank the Moskva which is literally designed to defend against missiles so I guess I should say any non Russian fleet
>tomahawks are obsolete
Do you realize that you sound like the same people that said the Patriot system is useless against hypersonics? The tomahawk of today is not the same one of yester year. They will destroy PLAAN vessels quite easily since we know the Chinese apparently have no concept of DC
>46 yo missile
>not obolete
It’s like riding a ww1 tank in Vietnam.
The West has really fallen.
You know what. Keep believing that Chang. It will be hilarious watching type 055s or whatever stupid name they've come up with detonating due to a single tomahawk.
It's on the 5th block upgrade. So it might be old but it's not exactly vacuum tube tier.
>He doesn't know about the Block V upgrades
Well chang, I bid thee godspeed on your way to the deep.
>"the tomahawk is obsolete, the west has truly fallen to the might of the chinese drag- blub glub blublbublbubub"
>bubbles begin to rise up to the water surface
It's a long range precision strike cruise missile, how could something like that ever really be obsolete?
>this fermented pit of seething over such a fine vintage of missile
This is what communism does to you kids. Stay off /leftypol/
Thats a good question all I have read about the Chinese ships is that they are copy a lot of russian and western systems into one.
Have they even chain or gatling guns on the ships, from the looks they using the russian air and missle defense concept and that is pretty shit.
'awk on a 'uck
>LET'S SEE THAT FUCKSTICK HIGHWAY PATROL TRY TO TAKE ME IN FOR A DUI NOW
>Is this the dagger that kills the chinese fleet?
No
The truckborne 1000 mile weapon to come, yes
Give 50 of these to Ukraine for a field test, I bet they will do good in tandem with himars
That's a golf cart
Have you seen a golf cart?
The number of vehicle borne cruise missile launcher and anti ship launcher in the Royal navy’s or marines inventory is 0.
It is hard not to notice this
Yes it would be technologically impossible to recreate something like this. In fact, this is the first time in history an anti ship missile has been attached to a vehicle
0 in UK inventory by the way. The capability just isn’t there
Fuck off turd-eating homosexual
Sorry that you are upset with the UKs lack of ground based long range fires.
Begone hugger of guffs.
Yeah it was zero for the USMC until quite recently also.
TASMs are more capable than the bulk of the PLAN ASCM inventory and regardless they are not for use against air defense DDGs etc. These are for blowing holes in the Chinese sealift capacity. JASSM etc will be used against DDGs not TASM.
Ship of thesus type situation. Almost zero compatibility with the original missile, maybe screws and fasteners but that's it.
And now it’s more than 0. They have the capability
Force Plan 2030, read nigga
KEK
US defense budget so low can’t even afford a roof
>Big shlong jeep
Compensating for something fatty?
We Generals now
Tomahawks are some of the worst missiles in the world. They are neither stealthy nor fast. Anyone can shoot them down easily. A Chinese fleet with HHQ-9B, quad-packed FM-3000, and HQ-10 point defence missiles, orbited by carrier-borne J-35s and KJ-600, is essentially invulnerable to Tomahawks.
You keep on believing that Chang. It's gonna make what comes next even funnier.
Yeah but your mom ain’t invulnerable to the Tomahawk Imma ‘bout to put in her.
How embarrassing it would be if this Chinese fleet get fucked by some marines with missiles on jeeps
> 60110851 This is the type of overconfidence and complacency that destroys empires. You underestimated Russia, but Russia is now defeating Ukraine (supported by the entire west) with almost no losses.
> 60111106 Block V changes nothing. It is still an unstealthy, subsonic missile that anyone can shoot down easily.
ITT: Kyle the 15 year old and Chang argue about systems they learned about in warthunder
War Thunder and its playerbase are the bleeding edge source for classified specs
Is there something going on in China that I missed? The wumao brigade has been out in force lately, did they find their submarine or something? Is it the Pooh bear meeting coming up?
China just recently threatens anyone who shortsells chinese stocks.
Wow! you can put things on other things?
What's next?
Is you taking a shower the dagger that kills the bad smell in your parents basement? Maybe instead of worrying about installing tomahawks on trucks, you should consider installing clean clothes on yourself.
Do you want to know more?
Bongs BTFO yet again
Can't wait to see this in War Thunder as a premium or a soul-crushing event vehicle
>what are the implications of this?
Well, they'll probably be able to launch Tomahawks from trucks.
A weapon to surpass metal gear
