Few years ago I did a lot of subgun matches. > Thompson > Colt 635 > MP5
The usual shit.
But the guys that argued about the rules, you know, the IPSC types, began to get into heavily modded MAC10. > add a buttstock, usually of the AR or Thompson variety > add a vertical foregrip > mod the action with some sort of rate reducer > add some facility for mounting a red dot, usually pic rail of some sort
It was still a machine gun and still a bullet hose but not with stupid high cyclic rate
put a 16 inch barrel on it
make it single shot or 3 round burst selectable
add a vertical foregrip
and a more comfortable shoulder thing that goes up
barrel, thompson grip, one piece stock. Unscrew the rear irons and replace with rail.
Also:
uzi mags, hammer fired for light trigger
I think I remember reading this prop was like 20 fricking pounds and they could only film in short bursts because Snake wielded it one-handed and if Kurt held it for a few seconds more in one hand he was gonna drop the damn thing.
I can't believe they found a way to make the MAC-10 even heavier.
idk if theres an actual kit (lage doesnt make one 90% sure) for glock mags but ive seen 3d printed lowers that accept them that you could slap the lage upper on
really the only big advancements in pdw tech since the mac-11 are ergonomics which the lage uppers do real nicely
yeah your moms looking out for you by not feeding you goyslop guns anon, arms manufacturers might have fooled early 00s police departments about the effectiveness of their silly little bullets but theres a reason that CTSFO arent running around with MP7s even though they bought them - 9mm just werks and if you really, really cared about having your piss small bullet being armour piercing you could sabot it
FRICK 5.7 and FRICK 4.5
Its fascinating how MAC owners will do anything to modernize their transferable machine guns.
Can't blame them it's more economic to do picrel to a mac than spend damn near 30K on a select fire M16.
obviously it's better than most countries, but still, the gun laws are so bizarre that getting a somewhat regular submachine gun requires you to create abomination from a mac10
lighter bolt, shorter barrel, get rid of that funny stock completely and a drum mag as big as a manhole cover
I am become bullets, the puncher of many holes.
>hand grenade
???
Are you suggesting any real Uzi is worse than a Mac?
I've owned all of them over the years, full-size OG Uzi, Mini Uzi, Micro Uzi, and a Cobray M-11/9.
After all was said and done, the only one I kept was the Mini, because it's the best out of all of them.

It was still a machine gun and still a bullet hose but not with stupid high cyclic rate
Unlike all the other losers in this thread, I'd play to its strengths instead of fixing its weaknesses. >up the cyclic rate >give a balls huge drum mag >rechamber to .32 acp for more control >give it a brace not as a work around, but because it was never really meant to shoot from the shoulder to begin with >replace the current sight with an aa style sight that works from the extended arm braced position as a general "you'll hit in this circle" type of deal, similar to the doughnut of death concept
isnt the point of MAC-10's is to make it as cheap as possible while being able to fire full-auto?, the design just screams hastily made and budget accessible
Embrace it's soul as a disposable shit bullethose. Simplify it as much as possible.
Replace the linkage and mechanical trigger with a solenoidal striker. get rid of the mechanical safety because the gun now uses an electromechanical system and go with a glock style "Finger on the trigger" with a shitty capacitive membrane sensor to complete the firing circuit.
Integrate some compensation cuts on the barrel to prevent muzzle rise.
Just fricking fix the barrel to the carrier and have the entire barrel reciprocate inside a tubular housing.
You can't pay the ATF to drill a new hole without running an SOT FFL that is legitimately engaged in real business. So, very expensive and a part time job.
Just regular joe nobody buying a transferrable M16 is going to pay about $30,000 to $40,000 for the receiver. A M10/M11 is more like $12,000.
Well shit. All I can say is I hate the NFA, I hope the Supreme Court manages to undo that someday.

If CRS Firearms has to die in prison for the NFA to be overturned, that's a price I'm willing to pay.

what the frick?
I thought you could taxstamp giggleswitches in burgerland?
have I seriously been lied to this degree by /k/ all along?
I personally know over a dozen people who own several assault rifles and light machine guns each and I live in fricking europe
I am never coming to this fricking noguns shithole ever again
Can't do it. They don't let you. If you're gonna drill the hole, for frick's sake don't fricking tell the government and just do it and keep quiet. Most ATF busts for that shit are braggarts who incriminate themselves anymore, or people who got busted for other shit and had illegal blasters too.
what kind of fricking papier-mâché baby b***h wrists do you have that a fidget spinner could possibly damage them?
go lift weights you fricking mr. skeltal ass weakling
well considering that Mac10 in that photo is mine, and I fired it with that fidget spinner on it, I can firmly say that no, it did not in fact hurt my wrist.
where did I say lifting weights makes your bones bigger? you absolute brainless Black person. building MUSCLE provides cushioning to your (specifically) weak as shit bones
>How would you improve this piece of shit?
It doesn't need improvement. It's not a pos. It's actually really good with a large can. Maybe make one in .300 blackout or 8.6mm blackout. The wire stock is pretty terrible, but folder attachments do exist.
Lower the cyclic rate and change the stock.
increase the cyclic rate and keep the stock
heavier bolt, more travel
barrel, thompson grip, one piece stock. Unscrew the rear irons and replace with rail.
Also:
uzi mags, hammer fired for light trigger
Add a suppressor with a scope on top for stealth + accuracy bonus
You're pretty good
I thought you were dead?!
Snake! Hey everybody, that's Snake!
Sssssssnek plz
Checked and /thread. Cleary I’m the presence of the Duke.
>bah gawd, that's Snake's Music
I think I remember reading this prop was like 20 fricking pounds and they could only film in short bursts because Snake wielded it one-handed and if Kurt held it for a few seconds more in one hand he was gonna drop the damn thing.
I can't believe they found a way to make the MAC-10 even heavier.
Rate reducer might help but honestly it's fine as is for a cheap, compact, lightweight bullet hose
Call up Lage.
put a 16 inch barrel on it
make it single shot or 3 round burst selectable
add a vertical foregrip
and a more comfortable shoulder thing that goes up
some motherfrickers always trying to iceskate uphill
so fricking kino
step aside ladies
unironically this
This but it accepts Glock mags.
idk if theres an actual kit (lage doesnt make one 90% sure) for glock mags but ive seen 3d printed lowers that accept them that you could slap the lage upper on
really the only big advancements in pdw tech since the mac-11 are ergonomics which the lage uppers do real nicely
i mean basically this. Make more of it so you can hold on to the fricker.
still want to shoot an OG mac though. None of the machinegun ranges I go to let people rent them because they're garbage and put lead everywhere.
The MP7 mom said we had at home.
yeah your moms looking out for you by not feeding you goyslop guns anon, arms manufacturers might have fooled early 00s police departments about the effectiveness of their silly little bullets but theres a reason that CTSFO arent running around with MP7s even though they bought them - 9mm just werks and if you really, really cared about having your piss small bullet being armour piercing you could sabot it
FRICK 5.7 and FRICK 4.5
I wouldnt, its perfect
add side wienered and keep it open bolt; add stock and red dot. will frick and mack bolan approved
Its fascinating how MAC owners will do anything to modernize their transferable machine guns.
Can't blame them it's more economic to do picrel to a mac than spend damn near 30K on a select fire M16.
These shits are so fun though.
3k vs 30k is a no-brainer.
Pic related is my Suomi KP31 upper. You can adjust the RPM on any of these Lage uppers as well to between 600-1000 with different buffer spacers.
Looks pretty sick
obviously it's better than most countries, but still, the gun laws are so bizarre that getting a somewhat regular submachine gun requires you to create abomination from a mac10
That's honestly kinda based. Has this modern day ppsh-43 vibe going on.
ngl I kinda like it
lighter bolt, shorter barrel, get rid of that funny stock completely and a drum mag as big as a manhole cover
I am become bullets, the puncher of many holes.
I see you want to dump enough lead to make the EPA declare a state of emergency
>Mac-10 Superfund
imagine the drive-bys
drum mag
horizontal forward grip
increased ROF
Melt it down.
Give the metal to the Israelis and have them make an uzi with it.
>turn submachinegun to reusable hand grenade
>t. moshe
>hand grenade
???

They're all outdated by modern standards though.
That took me a second, what the absolute fudd frick...
Little update here.
And last update, hopefully.
You are like a little babby
you forgot the ejection port
Milled forged aluminum
with this design but move the magazine feed forward and make it ergonomic
Slap some rails on that b***h
DONE
and where the frick do you put your left hand in this design? lol
>mat-49 but ghetto
How about a Thompson mag instead,
?
That's a drum, shitbird.
self destruct feature that grenades everything in a ten foot radius on pressing the trigger
Few years ago I did a lot of subgun matches.

How were they going about reducing the cyclic rate?
Add a silencer with a acog on top for stealth + accuracy bonus
Make it 7'' add bipod
She's perfect the way she is.
Anyone worth shooting is worth shooting with a .45.
Anyone worth shooting is worth shooting 30 times in one second.
>be ingram
>make a gun with the cyclical rate of an aircraft MG
>no foregrip
>shittiest wire stock imaginable
What could he position have meant by this?
>no foregrip
So the dangly handle doesn't count?
Csgo homies be like
Foregrips do exist for them, though.
And no, I don't mean the hanging strap.
pretty sure the foregrip is the massive can you're meant to have on it
Make it buyable.
Chamber it in .460 Rowland
S O V L
Unlike all the other losers in this thread, I'd play to its strengths instead of fixing its weaknesses.
>up the cyclic rate
>give a balls huge drum mag
>rechamber to .32 acp for more control
>give it a brace not as a work around, but because it was never really meant to shoot from the shoulder to begin with
>replace the current sight with an aa style sight that works from the extended arm braced position as a general "you'll hit in this circle" type of deal, similar to the doughnut of death concept
Dual wield
Chamber it in .30 Pedersen.
Make it drum fed.
Increase the cyclic rate.
Add a folding foregrip.
Add a bayonet lug with an 18" long bladed M7 bayonet.
>Chamber it in .30 Pedersen.
Ian?
My opinion comes to Richard Lage is the Browning of the MAC platform.
>adding a bunch of shit to a gun that's already heavy for its size
Maybe not make it so damn heavy. Like seriously, why does this little thing weigh as much as an M16?
Are they really 3k these days?
bunch of homosexuals trying to sell them for like 15k on gunbroker.
forgot to link
No Macs are 10kish last I checked. The 5.56 upper is 3k.
actually shot one,
some kind of ergonomic grip for the fron side and balance the center of gravity
who cares? its a machine pistol for tank crews. It does exactly what its supposed to.
a gun is a gun is a gun. no matter how much you fricking OCD nerds try to max out your ballistics, there really isn't that much difference.
I'd rather have two guys with shitty mass produced guns than one guy with a gucci POS he bought off ebay.
its perfect THOUGH
make it belt fed
Helical mag
>©
isnt the point of MAC-10's is to make it as cheap as possible while being able to fire full-auto?, the design just screams hastily made and budget accessible
How about putting a sight on it.
Make it into a mp9
this but a m10 not an m11
I though the lower was the serialized MG, hence the AR15 uppers. Why is the upper used in this case?
You're correct. The upper is used because it's unregulated and the lower is 3d printed.
AR uppers are also unregulated. Why not just use that?
Kriss Vector at home, muzzle rise solved.
I tried it with a transferable, airshit stock, and female-female picatinny adapter.
It works.
Embrace it's soul as a disposable shit bullethose. Simplify it as much as possible.

Behold
About how much cheaper is this than just paying the tax stamp?
He did pay the tax stamp. He just paid for a cheap-ass M10 instead of a proper rifle, and dolled it up to have his FA Mwhateverthefrickthatis.
Well, you know what I mean, how much cheaper is buying a Mac 10 than paying the ATF to drill a third pinhole?
You don't drill the hole, the registry is closed.
Buying guns/receivers from before the registry closed, macs are roughly $20,000 cheaper than ars.
Well shit. All I can say is I hate the NFA, I hope the Supreme Court manages to undo that someday.

No. The magazine is in line with the handle and trigger, not behind it. Come on now.
nothing its perfect
>optimized mag and grip to accommodate the longest possible OAL cartridge
>Chamber it in hybrid case 221 fireball or something similar to duplicate 5.56 ballistics (maybe .204 VLD with a super low form factor)
>the portion of the mag that sticks out beneath the grip is quad-stacked or a small diameter drum. >40rd capacity
>10” barrel
>reflex design silencer that adds the least amount of length to the barrel
>locked breech, rotating bolt, with the shortest possible carrier
>VFG with integrated bipod
>rate reducer, either inherent to the action or by means of a mechanical contraption
>telescoping stock as seen in the honey badger, MP7, etc
Voila. Mag-in-grip guns solved. They’re now bona fide assault rifles, but much shorter and lighter, with lighter ammo.
Forgot to add:
>make the receivers out of polymer and aluminum so it’s not a boat anchor
>How would you improve this piece of shit?
check and mate, Black folk
Fidget spinner is positioned perfectly to wreck the bony part of your wrist when you go to fire it. Great.
what kind of fricking papier-mâché baby b***h wrists do you have that a fidget spinner could possibly damage them?
go lift weights you fricking mr. skeltal ass weakling
Wreck was the wrong word, but you know that shit would hurt. You ever hit your knuckle on a fast-moving fidget spinner?
Also, lifting weights doesn’t make your bones bigger, moron. Nor does it enlarge your wrists since there are no muscles there.
well considering that Mac10 in that photo is mine, and I fired it with that fidget spinner on it, I can firmly say that no, it did not in fact hurt my wrist.

You’re moronic, and your spongebob gun is gay
>no argument
I'll accept your concession. Sorry it took you an hour to come up with that reply.
mod it to take trommel mags
