Looking to get a decent bedside gun, would it be better to just bite the bullet and get a repro MP5 or get a P80 AR15 lower with a jig and just get a 300 blackout parts kit?

12 gauge shotgun is the best home defense weapon
I want something i can run suppressed. Tinnitus is a fuck.
>suppressed bedside gun
1911 in 45ACP. Subsonic + big boolet = lotta damage without loud report
the only advantage is that .45acp is subsonic by default. subsonic 9mm is both quieter and cheaper, and.300blk is quieter, even if a bit more expensive. and 9mm and .30 cal cans are cheaper with more market options
>t. has a fnx-45 and seethes at not just getting a threaded barrel for my 92A1 instead.

I have had a 14.5" AR15 fired next to me indoors and it did not give me tinnitus
Get something chambered in 300 BLK
There's a bunch of uppers you can find on the internet
350 legend has subs on the shelf at sporting goods stores that actually expand and are heavier than 300BO.
I used a shitty sub2k as mine. Pretty small and worked fine.
AR-15 for Kevlar penetration
MP5 or whatever for controllability and compactness
>Bite the bullet
It’s all about the gun for ur scenario
What a bizarre choice to decide between
On one hand i want a Zenith MP5 but then I'd just be copying a certain Texan AK enthusiast and on the other i really want to try my hand at putting together an AR parts kit.
>not getting a gun because a retarded e-celeb also uses it
ngmi. I'm pretty sure every guntube fag has shot the fucking thing. Also don't use an 80% lower gun as your defense gun until you test the fuck out of it.
what is the thought process behind these two choices?
>bedside gun
it's called a handgun with a light, if you're living somewhere where that isn't enough for 99% of bumps in the night, then my next suggestion would be to save your money and move.
10 inch ar with a can
Thank you Papa Plaid
Don't pay more than $40 for a polymer80 ar lower if you go that route.
