Looking for help making Military-themed danbooru clone

Sup nerds. I have a project that I'm working on and I need helpers.

>tldr
I have a gigantic photo and video archive that I want to organize. I want to make a website where I can upload, tag and share all this stuff, based on danbooru's code. It'll be called "milbooru." I can do the funding (mostly) by myself, but I'll need technical help. If you wanna join the team, email me at [email protected]. I can pay you, but probably not more than a regular job could. In particular, I'd love to have help from somebody who can code with Typescript and use a front-end framework (React, Angular or VueJS). There's also a danbooru "competitor" system called Philomena. Danbooru is in Ruby/Rails, Philomena is written in Elixir. I don't care which one we use, I just want the results to look and work good.

>long ver:
Why do I wanna use danbooru's form factor? Well, I could just make folders, but that's a bad because some photos belong in multiple folders at once. Searching is also impossible unless you put everything into the filenames. Too much work.
Sites like danbooru allow users to upload pics, create tags, and apply as many tags as they want. Have a photo with a girl who has red hair riding a bike? Just add those tags to the picture.
Take that same idea, apply it to military reference images, and imagine how much easier that makes things. "I want to see photos of Russian soldiers using first gen AK12s before 2022." Ok, just search- "Russian, infantry, AK-12_obr-2016, -date:>2022." Bam, curated results right to your screen.
So yeah. It's a good idea. Let's make it happen.

Also if you wanna do this for your own photos and don't care about hosting a website, look up hydrus.

I have tried this in a completely unrelated subject area, one with lots of poorly annotated media. I can warn you about all kinds of things you might not anticipate as problems, if you'd like.

do you have a wireframe or anything yet?

we don't have a wireframe bc we want to clone danbooru/derpibooru's UI as a base bc those interfaces work great and people are acustomed to it

We really need a front end fixer because my main guy RN really hates that stuff and God knows I can't do it either.

It'd be nice to have a system that automatically reverse image searches a picture and gets the original upload date, that would be useful

Damn, that would be ideal for airsoft and mil-larping. Best of lucks to you anon

on addition I wanted to make was making better use of danbooru's "select/notes" system. You could attach a note to a tag, so when somebody mouses over the ak74 tag, it would illuminate all the ak74s in the image.

I don't have relevant skills but would like to learn. How desperate are you for unqualified help and would there be any reasonable learning milestones to grind out to show I'm serious before emailing you?
