Trying to find a decent handgun for CC. Needs to conceal well and kill someone, nothing special needed. If nobody responds I’m getting a Makarov. Thanks fuckers

Get a makarov
You want makarov, get makarov. The best gun is the gun you like.
>The best gun is the gun you like.
This is so underappreciated view.
The best gun for you is the gun you feel most comfortable with. The more you like the gun, the more you will shoot it. The more you shoot it, the better you get. More confident, more accurate, more instictive.
Much like with different car manufacturers, gun users have their own niche groups. There are glock fanboys, H&K elitists, Sig die-hards, Colt boomers, Beretta Enthusiasts... etc etc. And all of them are convinced that theirs is the best. But the truth is that the best gun is the one you like the most.
best take possible since it doesn't even discredit owning glock or berreta or anything else the fanboys gush on. They know it, they use it, they're used to it, so of course they'd push it as option number 1.
Exactly.
Imagine going to PrepHole and just posting "Hey guise wut car is gud?"
Same shit.
Sounds like OP already had his mind made up before the thread was created.
Don't listen to these revisionists, the real peak CC is a TT-33 or some variation on it
Nah berttea 92fs in shoulder holster with four spare mags.
90's action movie carry.
Just buy a G19 and stfu
Get the Makarov, if nothing else than to piss off the ploymer fags
My first cc was a Bulgarian Mak. It's a great gun. Reliable as all hell. Accurate. But it's heavy as shit and somewhat bulky compared to most pocket guns. Ammo can really only be had online these days. There is zero aftermarket. You may want to put glow in the dark paint on your sights. I bought an LCP and mainly use it now. Mak is for the winter months. It's a good gun but not the best choice for all situations. Go with something else unless you're really committed to the idea.
my first sub compact 10 years ago
This doesn't print even with an OWB holster. Great in the pocket. Extra mags are easy to carry on the belt or in your pocket. pairs great with FMJ.
I got the gen 2. Love it. Lcp max a better option for most anyone tho tbh.
g42
Glock 29 with Underwoods. Or get a 20 and chop the grip to take 29 mags.
Those import marks
>look how they massacred my boy
Makarov it is then, you can carry decocked and just pull the first shot double action. It's a wonderful shooter. Kinda heavy for its size and I don't know what holster you could get.
Why not get something cooler with a dot
Whatever gun you like and will actually train and practice with is going to be fine. Makarovs are cool and fun. Get a CZ 82 for the added capacity.
CZ p-01. Steel construction, SA/DA, and hammer fired all in the size of the Glock 19. Double action is the best safety
I have a 38 Ruger and it's really nice. Lightweight, recoil is super minimal even if your bones are made of glass, and it's frame is incredibly small. Only drawback is .38 will usually cost more than any 9mm cartridge and the 5 or 6 round limit in the cylinder if you're concerned about the amount you carry.
I think a Makarov is a weird choice, specially when it comes to ammo.
Maybe get a PPK or Bersa 380 they're kinda similar to the Makarov.
M&p shield with tlr 6 or glock 43 Mos with tlr 7 sub
Modern problems require modern solutions.
Get the Makarov, I've been CCing one for the past 5 years and it's been really nice
I have that same IWB holster for my mak but half the time I go to draw it the belt clip just slips off and I end up holding a holstered gun at the ready like a fucking retard. So obviously I don't actually carry it because it would likely get me killed. Wish it had a belt loop instead of the plastic clip.
whatever it is get something with a safety. my pocket is able to tie a fucking square knot with my headphones. i fully believe they are capable of pulling the trigger on a condition 1 gun with no safety
Yup for pocket carry it makes total sense
>inb4 pocket carry is stupid
>inb4 just use a holster
Sometimes I'm just walking 100 ft to the mailbox. I don't want to put a holster on
If you need to carry a gun to your mailbox what you really need is to move to a white neighborhood
For all my snackorov bros, what is the best holster? Love mine, love how it shoots, and love how it feels in my hand. I need something to carry it though.
I got you bro.
>Glock 29
>9x25 threaded conversion barrel
>compensator
>loaded with ~100gr JHP
That's your min-maxed CC. You're welcome.
I miss mine so fucking bad
why did you get rid of it?
M&P compact, Shield Plus, G19, Walther CCP, CZ P07, Ruger LC9/EC9, Taurus G2/3c
There are a lot of options, OP. How small do you want it, what caliber, what capacity? HandgunHero is good for comparisons.
I forgot these. And FN.
Maks are fine. Do note that the ammo is more expensive than 9x19. Also depending on the origin of the gun, it may be more expensive than a standard carry gun (e.g., 365, glock 26, etc.)
Makarovs aren’t a very good CC option.
The ammo can be pricey and the gun is blowback. If it’s anything like a PPK it’ll get unreliable after shooting 100 rounds or so, forcing you to either stop training and clean the gun at the range, or go home to do the same.
Secondly, while .380 has somewhat enjoyed the benefits of bullet construction improvements in the last few decades, 9x18 hasn’t and Western ammo manufacturers don’t see a point in investing in a redundant Soviet caliber.
