Long Live 22 Short

>does everything people love about 22LR, but better
>even less weight
>even higher capacity in tubes
>even less recoil
>even less noise
>no hearing protection needed, unlike 22LR
>still plinks enjoyably
>still instakills creatures via headshot
Let me guess... you "need" the long rifle version for some nonsensical reason?

My grandpa has a 1915 Colt Woodsman in .22 short with the original box that he keeps around for home defense. as long as the ammo isn't old it always goes bang...

Remington 550. Uses a floating chamber and will shoot short, long and long rifle, in any order no problem.

and how much does it cost compared to 22lr?

Unfortunately it actually costs more these days because the demand is lower

how exactly do smaller bullet gooder?

I bought a bunch of different .22lr for my cp33 and somehow ended up with a box of 22 long. Idk what to do with it. Also did you know if you have a .22mag revolver you can't shoot 22lr in it?

      >Also did you know if you have a .22mag revolver you can't shoot 22lr in it?
yes, 22lr uses a heeled bullet, so the case and bullet are the same diameter, 22mag does not, so the case is bigger.

I love instakilling creatures! I knew I owned a single shot bolt action .22 for a reason.
