He's literally on the front and in command of his own army of schizo loyalists. As long as he doesn't try to retire his ass back to Russia where the glowies can get him, and he still has men to survive the Ukies,he's actually safe.
A botches assassination on him could lead to moronic consequences so its too risky.
This is why you don't fricking have armies outside of your national army structure Putin you fricktard
You have to understand that to the average Russian, this is not contradictory because to them Nazism isn’t an ideology so much as it is anything that threatens Russia. So it doesn’t matter if they share the same ideology with the Nazis, because they are on Russia’s side, they are Nazis.
>use Russian SS who are named after Hitler's favorite composer and use Germanic runes
Nazi Germany had no analogous for Wagner Group. Even the Dirlewanger Division was still nominally answerable to SS leadership. Rosgvardia would be the closest to the Waffen-SS in modern Russia, albeit with less emphasis on ideology.
Ultimately Wagner answer to Putin directly. I don't know of any unit that answered directly to Hitler alone. All the units answered to SS leadership or the army, airforce, navy, etc. The whole concept of PMCs' weren't a thing back then too.
Didn't this happen multiple times with the Roman armies, some popular commander shitting on the leaders at home while out at the front, how long before we see him try to declare himself the new leader and march back on Moscow
Sorta yes. One of the prerequisites for becoming consul or emperor (im drunk I dont remember what fricking time period this happened in exactly) was to have a military victory to your name and do a victory march. When the borders of the Roman empire were getting invaded a lot of Generals met these conditions. This combined with them promising good pensions, farms etc to their soldiers if they became the leader of the empire meant that shit happened quiet some time.
Nah. Strelkov/girkin is the literal FSB controlled opposition, with his over the top theatrics and going after Putin openly. Not so much Priggers.
The gayner is careful to only ever talk shit about the Russian MOD, which tells you he doesn't have the tsar's assurances. He's made it clear multiple times he'd rather not be fighting putins war anymore, going so far as to suggest Kremlin to proclaim mission accomplished as an excuse to gtfo of Ukraine. Only to get slapped down time and again with shell hunger and direct threat of Kadyrov telling him to stay put or else.
At this point I wouldn't be surprised if Pringles was behind the sabotage incidents happening around Russia, if not the Kremlin attack itself.
There's nothing to indicate that him attacking the MoD doesn't mean he doesn't have the backing of Putin. In fact, everything indicates he answers to Putin and likely the FSB but not the MoD.
Yes, because the video full of dead soldiers is being used to blame Shoigu and the MoD, not Putin.
This is how Putin keeps his power, he deliberately promotes in-fighting amongst all of his underlings, ensuring they can't cooperate long enough to coup him. Prigozhin is a bigger personal threat to Shoigu and Gerasimov than Zelensky or HATO, which means while they have to keep working with him on Putin's orders, they'll do everything possible to prevent him from gaining too much power (and threatening Putin in the process).
The big difference is that gayner is made out of convicts. Getting rid of prisoners is a big money saver and most russians are happy with getting read of useless mouths to feed. If USA executed it's entire prison population with 10+ years sentences, they would save trillions in the long run
>The big difference is that gayner is made out of convicts
Majority of Wagner is made from ex-soldiers, ex-special forces and volunteers, they are the ones dying by 100s a day because most prisoners are already dead, wounded or their contract ended
That was the case before the invasion, where they had 3k ppl max. A lot of those guys died storming Popasna and then priggy got permission to recruit from prisons. At the highest gayner had 30-50k mercs
11 months ago
Anonymous
That's why I pointed out volunteers, Wagner is accepting everyone with a heartbeat to fill its ranks. Point is, that it's not prisoners dying but regular Wagner units
Wagner went from 30k to 3k men in a matter of weeks due to the MoD taking away prigozhins right to recruit prisoners while the prisoner contracts were all about to end
That one move really fricked him hard and is one of the reason why there are multiple russian army units in bakhmut now since wagner couldnt handle the flanks and parts of the city alone anymore
>Because he’s using the ancient technique of sitting in the middle of your own personal army on the frontier.
Is he going to be Russia's dime-store Ceasar?
They're going to let Ukraine kill him. If he tries to retreat, they'll tell him he'll be executed for cowardice. The only heroes Putin can tolerate are dead ones. The myth of Prigozhin heroically attacking and dying in battle will be an example for future waves of mobiks to follow. The reality of Prigozhin pissing himself and begging to be saved while Putin and Shoigu laugh at Ukraine doing their dirty work for them will be a lesson to other oligarchs with ambition.
>As others have said, they are entirely dependent on Russia for any substantial logistics. They wouldn't even be able to make it out of Ukraine
ah yes all those other Russian rebel armies, with their logistics hubs and cohesion
lol y'all don't seem to get that in this hypothetical situation half the army if not more would be joining Wagner on their march back to Moscow and all the gear that would encompass
they'd loot and pillage the rest
hard to assassinate a well-liked leader in the battlefield whos in charge of one of your more competent armies. And I say hes well-liked because of all the videos ive seen of him, hes the only one to admit brutally to his grunts about the shit state of the war and the russian army.
If they did assassinate him, it would have to be by rocket/artillery or by a team of gunmen, and theres really no way they can keep it discreet. Then they face the risk of full blown mutiny by one of their more experienced armies, and that really would be the end of the war for the russians.
>of one of your more competent armies
They are cannon fodder. They needed russian ”regulars” to save them and to start making the pathetic gains they are.
Prigozhin is a (perhaps low) power player in the game of "Who wants to be the next czar?"
His exact location at any given moment is probably not known by the Kremlin. Or at least it would be assumed he'd attempt to hide it.
Yes, I believe all this grandtsanding is for political clout as much as military resources which could get him more prestige (especially if he can deny the regular army the same). He has no intention of retreating from bakhmut, nor do I believe ammo problems are as severe as he says as the russians are still firing. But it is a great way to hog the glory and spotlight, but of course you dont want to talk too much shit about people too high up and maybe the higher ups eventually feel he has gotten ideas above his stature, or not, who knows.
But I do believe this is mostly an act to make himself look greater and talk down other parts of the army, who uses his cons as fodder for the reaper instead of their own troops.
No he has some (by their standards lmao) well trained men. They arent all gay prisoners. The ukies themselves admit this. If you wanna huff your farts at least get a fart blanket, you smell like shit
Problem is Wagner's leader is like Putin in that he cannot psychologically handle defeat. He just HAS to double-down on Bakhmut even if it's a fricking stupid battle.
Id rather rule a shithole than take orders from one
And I'd rather rebuild Ukraine and end up fricking rich as hell for actually doing a nice thing. Everyone would praise me as a fricking hero. Have my cake and eat it too.
>Russian glowBlack folk ACK Pringles >Wagner completely collapses in Bakhmut >Months of progress erased overnight >Gestures of goodwill all the way from Luhansk to the coast immediately follow.
Russia is actually becoming more factionalist as a result of the war. I think people overestimate the control of Putin and the reach and unity of the FSB.
Because it's like in ancient Rome. Wagner and Piggy have a lot of supporters among the plebs and proles. Outright assassinating him would look bad and could spark revolution
how are they supposed to get him? Wagner is loyal solely to him. Is Russia supposed to commit resources it already doesn't have to apprehending some bandit mob?
he’s probably making sure to never enter any building that has stairs. he’s unironically the only Russian military officer to learn from the mistakes of others and he isn’t even a real officer
He’s kind of like a fun house mirror version of Caesar, plebs like him and he has a personal army at his disposal. I have absolutely no doubt that the Russian MoD is sabotaging Wagner operations in the battle of Bakhmut because victory would result in a gorillion drunk convicts recreating the march on Rome
but at this point Priggy's behaving like a Ukrainian asset, why would they kill him even if they are spoonfed his coordinates by the FSB? There is more to be gained by letting him live and continue to disrupt morale than to kill him and have him be promptly replaced by a Kremlin stooge.
And why would Ukraine kill him while he's busy nuking Russian morale daily?
They'd rather take him alive for war crimes which isn't an option for Russia to assist with since he'd just get told he got ratted out and take vengeance with ratting them back.
>Kill him
They don't need to, just capture him.
And I'm sure Zelenski will put him in a cage and put him on display for everyone to see
He's gonna get trial in Den Haag ASAP.
Did you uh..not read the rest? Russia doesn't want that, even if Prigozhin doesn't rat them out (fat chance lol) for other war crimes, he's still a Russian commander and it'd be a major win for the west to Hague the motherfricker.
Oh having him to continue as Commander lolcow? or have him flown out of the windows forever.
I think he already knows that he can't return to Moscow/Sint Petersburg,
he's gonna get arrested for some shit or fly out
Or he's gonna die in Bakhmut or get captured
And oh oh, according to Deny, the Ukies are trying to take out Klishchiivka

Maps like these make you realize why LE RED TERRITORY WE CONTROL THIS is so moronic.
Then Ukraine tells him that they leaked his info and begin a civil war in Russia.
He’s in charge of one of the better (low bar) armies in the region. If someone assassinates him, its guaranteed contingency plan retaliatory assassinations occur. Oh and if he decides to actually die or frick off, russia loses its current meat grinder with nothing to replace it with.
All the other posters are right. But also if he died some bigger moron will take over. Even though he is a crybaby he is loyal to power, and russia has power over him. If they overtly frick with him he will just make a deal and try to liquidate his army. Idk the lawyer speak on the gayner contracts but i doubt anyone would stick around once they find out they arent gonna get paid and will definately get shot/dicked down to death
That is the great thing about Ukrainians for Russians. They can use their enemy to kill their political rivals and give themselves plausible deniability.
He thought he could take Ukraine in a week or two. He expected the West to grumble a bit but then accept the situation like they did with Crimea. He didnt expect massive sanctions, the Ukranian army fighting so well and his own forces being so useless.
It's poetic justice for the man who b***hed about the fall of the genocidal USSR. Now HE gets to frick up Russia himself, lol. Putin gets to be the USSR-nostalgic man who destroyed Russia. It's beautiful. Bonus irony points? He's not even losing to the West, he's losing to fricking UKRAINE the "not-real-nation".
He said 10th of May, but then some other nonsense messaging came out that the MoD was now delivering ammo or something.
I could totally see it happening that with so much back and forth some Wagner troopers actually thing they are leaving tomorrow, and leave their positions undefended, while others don't.
Tomorrow we'll discover what our Wagner baldie has in store.
One more dawn. One more day One day more.

he literally put a video out saying the russian MoD baited him hard and they immediately stopped giving him the ammo he wants the next day
I can't keep up with the schizo happenings of Russia's shitshow of a war effort. Embarrassed from top to bottom.
From his 30 min rant video, rough translation >We got this letter, that says if we leave Bakhmut it will be considered treason >I am in touch with Surovikin but he is always in meetings so I can't get any answers >We had Bakhmut, they were all running and abandoning but we had no ammo to finish it >Russia thinks we have to do offensives on tv but Ukraine will do offensive on the ground. >here is paper with stuff we are to receive >We ask for 7000 shells, we get 1000 >Ask 7500 get 790 >Ask 960 get 68 >This is bad and if this continues we wont be able to fight at all >If you just try to lie to the guy in charge we will lose and people will be mad >Surovikin is good. He fights for us to be armed >If they listened to him we would have been at Kramatorsk and Slavinsk by now >72nd brigade lost 3km^2 today and we lost 500 people >If the guys in charge want to win, they would look at my request and double it >Just double the ammo >Our army soldiers running away from positions due to dumb commanders >Soldiers aren't supposed to die from stupid commanders >Criminal state of affairs >We are betrayed by a few at the top >We were promised on the 7th ammo >8th we got 10% >9th we got nothing >We were lied too >So everyone happy victory day to our grandpas, but why we are celebrating? >Stop fricking around on the Red Square
Next bit is aimed at soldiers >How much ammo you boys need? >16 rounds; we have 5 rounds for today, the request was taken up the chain of command >The top guy relayed the order, the people in charge have not done anything >Instead they are celebrating and they are getting their prostates massaged >Give us ammo and tomorrow we will take the city >Every 10 seconds the enemy fires, around 7500 rounds per day >The enemy today is the bureaucrat
To new soldiers appearing* >How much ammo for 120mm do you have? >10, we need 100 min >Bastards have the ammo, they just don't want to give it to us >Surovikin is working on it!
>Every 10 seconds the enemy fires, around 7500 rounds per day
Can Russians stop lying for 5 seconds, if Ukraine had 7500 shells per daybto use in Bakhmut there would be no such thing as Wagner anymore
>The Kremlin seems to have believed its own propaganda that the Ukrainian nation does not exist except in subordination to Russia. In this view, a Ukrainian nation that insists it has separate identity and national existence is merely a fascist deformity that must be destroyed by fire and sword.
Much as Russians say otherwise, Ukrainians are clearly NOT the same people as Russians.
>On a deeper level, Ukrainians have demonstrated emphatically that they differ from their Russian neighbors in terms of the national character they have displayed during the past ten months of war. The innovation, work ethic, and commitment to country over self shown by Ukrainians are all qualities that, if they previously existed in Russia, Putin himself has worked hard to erode.
>The Kremlin seems not to grasp how deep Ukrainian patriotism runs and how it has taken shape in a more liberal, multi-ethnic, and pro-democratic form, partly in revulsion against Putinism and its malign values. This spirit of patriotism, personified but not created by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has so far enabled the Ukrainian military to maintain its morale and helped Ukrainian society stand firm in the face of terror and deprivation.
>In contrast, Putin’s corrupt system fueled by theft and deceit has hollowed out the Russian military and left Russian society generally cynical. Russian state television features bloodthirsty commentators while thousands of Russian young men flee the country to avoid military service. The sacrifices Ukrainians are willing to make as they fight for their lives and their country seem foreign to Putin’s Russia. Like the Czarist regime in the early twentieth century, Putin seems to have believed a “short victorious war” was just the tonic his system needed.
He’s gearing up for a coup. Against Putin or as a tool by Putin to create and eliminate scapegoats and navigate the post-loss political turmoil? I’m inclined to believe the latter, I think. The vatnik narrative will be that they lost the war to internal traitors and now they’ve cleared out the “western spies” or something
It’s gonna be interesting regardless, these are not words that can be said without consequences for someone at some point
There was an anon on the 5th iirc who said the same thing. He said this is all theatre so he can look like a patriot fighting against the odds and the handicap the bureaucrats are forcing on him.
But that's fundamentally flawed because nobody ever anywhere in the word considered mercs as anything but as overpaid, expendable and immoral trash people. Still dangerous, admittedly.
>He said this is all theatre so he can look like a patriot fighting against the odds and the handicap the bureaucrats are forcing on him.
That part is true. The coup bit against Putin stinks of hogwash.
I quietly follow a lot of quality and level headed Russian experts (all of them Russians living in the west) and the response to it from them seems to have been a degree of shock. “Unprecedented” is the word of the day. I don’t think anyone who isn’t close to the warboss himself knows what to make of his words. The chechens moving to either support them or to prevent them from retreating too… Post war Russia is going to be a very exciting place lmao, and definitely not one that is more democratic, liberal or western. Either Putin consolidates power or someone more nationalistic than him does

I remember that anon, I got it from the archive. Either way the guy benefits.
Russians were corrupt, stupid and fighting each other all the time in this war. They have no one to blame but themselves for their idiocy. They didn't even have the brains to recognize the clear superiority of Ukrainians over them.
>lost 500 people
Anon, he's saying the area that they lost because of the 72nd brigade retreating was "bought" with the lives of 500 people. In other words, he's lamenting that them (allegedly) fricking off without a fight they'll have to recapture what took 500 dead vatniks to capture in the first place.
He's not saying that 500 Wagnerites got killed in this counteroffensive.
>arrested for shooting peaceful protesters against the USSR coup >released on direct order of Yeltsin because he "was only following orders" >Arrested and convicted for arms trafficking in 1995 >Overturned because he "only gave a pistol to a student candidate, he didn't know he would sell the pistol"(???) >Beat the shit out of a subordinate colonel in 2004 >Same year he scolds the officer in charge of logistics for weapons and ammo in front of another officer >Officer immediately shoots himself right then and there in front of everybody
LMAO IS EVERYBODY IN THE RU STATE SOME KIND OF FRICKING MOBSTER

Yes this is the case.
When the USSR collapsed all of the resources basically fell to mob rule. Realistically that was already happening, but with the boot of the state removed the mobsters could become the state.

Obviously there isn't one, this was in some military office in Russia. https://www.newsru.com/arch/russia/22apr2004/colonel.html
>>The top guy relayed the order, the people in charge have not done anything
This reads like "Good czar, bad boyar". You see it ANY time any of these guys are b***hing. Its ALWAYS "Oh someone is fricking up but the order was given, nobody is listening. Bad bad boyars are doing this, good good czar please fix this."
how did it go so bad for Wagner. these motherfrickers had it made in Syria and Africa and now all the OGs are probably dead or maimed. The good times in Popasna and taking the salt mines of Soledar are just a memory now , only 10% left to take Bakhmut and now the orchestra is over. one last song plays
>had it made in Syria and Africa and
Wagner was an absolute joke in Syria, the only real opportunity they tried resulted in 3-digit casualties for nothing and in Africa they're just like Boko Haram but more moronic and those are genuine gorilla nigras, the utter bottom of the African barrel
>had it made
Just like with everything related to the Russian state, it only worked because they were surrounded by idiots who let them get away with everything.
he is a secret path you get if you start as Medvedev and fail to supply your armies properly, you will get a coup event then tag switch to Wagnerite Russia
This day has been an absolute fricking disaster for Russia. I feel sorry for their shills, best to just stop posting and then continue pretending this day never happend.
i don’t understand how you idiots take anything he says at face value. he’s literally controlled opposition, like gherkin. just mouth pieces of the FSB.
>i don’t understand how you idiots take anything he says at face value. he’s literally controlled opposition, like gherkin. just mouth pieces of the FSB.
He's a mobster and a good bullshitter. Everything he says is spin or a lie for his own benefit. He saw his own guys collapse, so he got ahead of the narrative to put blame on the Russian army. He's an entertaining clown though.
Black, Wagner doesn't get hired without Putin's/Putin's direct government's permission. Neither does the money they make not eventually get kicked back to Putin at least in part.
The war will end with Prozakob***h and Girkin trying to window one another, but accidentally sending both of themselves to the lobby the ultra-fast way.
The fact that the Russians are so desperate for ammo that they to ration it and return to early Stalingrad 1 rifle for 3 men coniditions is the biggest sign that the war is over.
I don't know if the mythical stockpiles were rotted through, whittled away by corruption or have simply been expended but they are literally having their slave soliders mutiny in front of them and doing nothing about it.
They are still firing a lot more shells than Ukrainians. The problem is that they don't know how to wage war, unless they have full air superiority or 10x more shells than their opponent.
Did you see Prigozhyn coming to positions to talk with soldiers? Apparently 1 "geoncynt" gun is expected to fire 200+ shells a day minimum. Nobody in the world has ammo to do that for a long period of time.
Not contradicting you, just clarifying that the reason they fire more shells is that they rely on saturation, not precision. This causes a positive feedback loop >need more shells to hit or suppress target >need more artillery pieces to fire more rapidly in any given strike >firing more and faster wears out barrels faster >causing you to be less accurate >causing you to need to expend more shells
In the end it’s cheaper and more logistically sustainable to focus on a smaller number of more mobile, precise, long ranged and more expensive fire systems/munitions than to spam cheap dumb shells, never mind the immediate effectiveness.
I dont understand Putin politics at fricking all >We want zelenskiy regime GONE
Zelenskiy support was at 37% and dropping pre war, and it rised to 93% after. He was considered a CLOWN both on international and domestic scene. After invasion all news paint him as Leader of the free world. >Prigozhin openly shits on Shoigu and Gerasimov
Those 2 guys are appointed AND supported by Putin. Openly shitting on them means shitting on Putin choices, means shitting on Putin >Russia is willing to sell MORE OIL for LESS MONEY to india and china
This baffles me most, is increasing Russian theritory by 1,5% (Donetsk+Lugansk+Crimea) worth losing billions and billions of dollars?
Putin looks like Prince difficulty Ai in civilization.
He just really was that confident it would be like a week, two weeks at most operation
everything since has been made-up on the fly because the plan went to shit
>Zelenskiy support was at 37%
He miscalculated, based on faulty information, current situation wasn't the intended outcome.
>Those 2 guys are appointed AND supported by Putin
russians don't follow consistent logic, it could be that tomorrow Shoigu will turn out to be a traitor and a pest, and it was all his fault, and no one will bat an eye, no one will ask how come he was appointed/re-appointed multiple times by putin and the whole traitor/pest thing never came up before.
>This baffles me most, is increasing Russian theritory by 1,5% (Donetsk+Lugansk+Crimea) worth
This also is the easiest to explain, to a russian it is worth literally anything. Not just 1.5% for billions of dollars, rather any % for literally any price. Russians believe that, ultimately, reign of a tzar comes down to if it was a net gain or loss on territory, if it's the former tzar was successful, if it's the later he was a traitor and a pest. There is literally no amount of space too wretched for a ruskie not wanting to pay *any* price for it, they would prefer to just pay blood, but if money are needed they'll do that as well.
>Zelenskiy support was at 37% and dropping pre war
That's why he thought it could work.
Putin, just like all dictators, doesn't understand democratic politics at all. Especially now, after over 2 decades have passed since any semblance of democratic politics in Russia.
Support is a mostly meaningless metric in democracies; people tend to either vote for the guy they hate the least, or vote against the guy they hate the most. Such details are alien to people like Putin. >I dont understand Putin politics at fricking all
There's something a lot of people haven't touched on, due to various reasons, both legitimate and intellectually dishonest. That being COVID. Officially, there were < 400k deaths in Russia. That's a supermegafake number. The real figure is over 2 million. Nearly double that of the US, for less than half the headcount. And some smart folks figured it out by checking the excess death figures for 2020 and 2021.
Putin tried to keep the lid on: remember how in 2020 and 2021 there was one Russian medic doing the window jump roughly once every third week. However, while you can BS foreign orgs, you can't really BS the people whose relatives don't return from hospital. Also, Navalny's original (Russian-language) video about the giant palace had over a hundred million views, and a fair bit of those came from Russia. So his approval was slowly starting to dip. And what better way to shore up support than a short and victorious war of conquest against that fricking annoying neigbor of yours?
Seems like this war was a lighting in the bottle type of event. From US' disastrous pullout from Afghanistan, to lowering NATO support, to dwindling Putin's internal support and many, many other things all played some role in all of this.
>From US' disastrous pullout from Afghanistan
He misread that one as well. Mainly because there was nobody from the Soviet-era Politburo to explain what he was seeing. Americans leave a place because they got bored, or are tired of paying for shit that keeps not happening. And Americans abandon tons of random junk when they leave, because they don't want to sink more money into shifting it around. To a budget-limited government with a "martial glory" view of its military exploits, these two seem inconceivable (and it took a while for the old Soviets to understand).
Maybe it might actually have worked if Zelenskiy fled like Yanukovych.
>Maybe it might actually have worked if Zelenskiy fled like Yanukovych.
There's a very high chance it would've gone the way Putin had initially envisioned.
Yeah that whole geopolitical talking point about how Russia NEEDS Crimea has been making less and less sense to me.
Putin doesn't actually care about the navy. Just look at the state of their one (1) aircraft carrier and the late Moskva. He is famously responsible for the Kursk submarine disaster. He had Crimea for 8 years and somehow the black sea fleet is turned into even more of a joke. Dude literally just wants to play real life strategy game and paint the map red. He wants to be Catherine the 2023 troony version.
COVID was a major frickup for Russia, but not society ending. If the demographics are the same for them, it would be 50% over 70 and 50% under, with most from the 50's and 60's. So some of those will be technically skilled people, but everyone's already out of breeding age. If you have a new generation below that ready to come up then you're fine.
...which they don't. Their demographics were already garbage, and they lost thousands in Ukraine. Then when mobilization came up hundreds of thousands of young fit able bodied males just outright fled. Thousands others who just didn't like the war left too. These are irreplaceable young people, many of them with technical skills.
Russians are just the result of always blaming everyone else for your own failure, instead of taking responsibility and manning up. Even their "intellectuals" are just crazy homeless people they slapped a suit on, spouting schizo nonsense.
Don't forget >we want to stop NATO expansion >doubles NATO border with Russia >we want to de-militarize >Ukraine is one of the most well armed and well trained armies in Europe now
He thought he could take Ukraine in a week or two. He expected the West to grumble a bit but then accept the situation like they did with Crimea. He didnt expect massive sanctions, the Ukranian army fighting so well and his own forces being so useless.
>MORE OIL for LESS MONEY
So anon, here's the thing. None of that oil was Putin's. Yes, its Russian oil, but not the KGB Soviet Godfather's oil. Now, he was already getting a big cut from that money to spread around his state and government and to allies like third world shithole socialists and dictators. But now, he gets even more oil to sell, at a discount at that, while getting the same slice as he was getting before per barrel of oil, if not a bigger slice.
None of the money was going anywhere productive before this either, it was all going to someone's pockets or bank accounts, legally or illegally. Now he gets to do more of that thanks to the war.
>b-b-but what about the Russian economy? W-what about the people?
Frick the economy. Frick the people. And none of the budgets of anything in the state or government were being used for nothing other than bribes, fraud, embezzlement, graft, and, on the legal side, pensions and pensions and salaries and wages and more pensions, not that those weren't already being looted of course, those are one of the first ones to be looted. And if you really need more money for legit purposes, just get another loan from China, or the IMF, or the World Bank, and then pocket a third or half and spread it around to your Mafia State and Chinese and Thirld World friends. It's all profit for Putin and the gang.
I keep coming back to this scene in Goodfellas to explain to gringos how a racket like Russia works.
It isn't just Russia that works like this, its how all of BRICS works and how most of Russia's political associates work. Post-Cold War communism/socialism/edgy anti-western governments and parties is just large scale organized crime. That's it. And when there's no more money to be squeezed from the scheme, you break it, so there's nothing left for nobody else, ever. And then you run off to Cuba, or Bolivia or China or the Middle East and do it all over again.
all those nade videos make me think it just two guys manning giant trenches, but when you finally see all of them routing like that in just one sector, it really shows how much more work ukrainians have cut out for them even after all that fighting
The UAV vids are scouting after an artillery strike on the trench. So everyone else has fled, is wounded, or hiding in a bunker. They then murder the wounded or stragglers.
>using tank as bulldozer, no ammo needed
Original ISIS-American tactic, America soldier bury many valiant Iraqi defender with dozerblade fixed to tank.
My advice to the Ukrainians to get the frick away from Russian culture as fast as possible.
Derussification. Find every way possible to set yourself apart. Put more fricking fruit in your cuisine (Russians apparently don't like Vitamin C being primitive barbarians).
>Russians apparently don't like Vitamin C
This is false.
While they are not Bulgarians (who, especially old people, can't stop ingesting tomato salad with every meal), they do eat fresh fruit regularly.
>My advice to the Ukrainians to get the frick away from Russian culture as fast as possible.
They are though. That's kind of the whole point of this war.
>lost 500 people
Anon, he's saying the area that they lost because of the 72nd brigade retreating was "bought" with the lives of 500 people. In other words, he's lamenting that them (allegedly) fricking off without a fight they'll have to recapture what took 500 dead vatniks to capture in the first place.
He's not saying that 500 Wagnerites got killed in this counteroffensive.
You guys are consuming too much propaganda. Russia is NOT divided to any meaningful degree. The government "systema" created by Putin is based on a mutual enrichment scheme around Putin and his circle of oligarchs paid for by energy sales. These lower-power players support the systema and Putin and handle some component of the society in exchange (this includes the Russian Orthodox Church) in sort of neo-feudal system. To take power from Putin would require getting the inner circle’s energy industry backing, period. The population has zero power, only insofar as the risk of civil upheaval— something the Russians have mostly burned out of the society.
That’s why his public antics against the MoD don’t make sense unless it’s some infowar play to entice Ukrainian attack where they’re not ready (or entice the West to push for the attack). He’s benefited tremendously from the systema and Putin’s patronage. Making a public scene has zero effect on power in Russia. The Russian public has zero say or impact, and no serious independent media to inform the public EVEN IF they had some level of power. All he’s doing is embarrassing Russia on the world stage. What possible outcome is he expecting?
>All he’s doing is embarrassing Russia on the world stage. What possible outcome is he expecting?
That is EXACTLY why he is doing it. The one thing Russia cannot deal with is embarrassment to itself or Putin. It just can't. It will do absolutely anything to look strong and better than the West/USA. This has happened so many times. I'll give you some shit. >US announces new Future Soldier program with funky armour and shit >Russia then announces they're doing this too but their armour can stop 0.50BMG
>US announces the M1299 to replace the M109 Paladin, says it can do like 60km with certain rounds >Russia announces it has a SPG that can do 80km. Do we have proof? No. Just says it can.
>US does a public test of the MOAB and records the data. Just goes 'Hey look at this world'. >Russia then does the FOAB and goes 'Yeah it's even more powerful than MOAB'
>US says it has a self-guiding sniper round that can hit a target at 3km away >Russia then says it has a self-guiding sniper round that can hit a target at 5km away
It's literally about fricking image. Therefore Priggy is attacking the one thing that Russia (at least the elites) care about - their image. Russia MUST look strong and competent. Having a 'leader' flat out insulting the big wigs and saying how incompetent they are and how they're fricking the situation is the only thing he can actually do. He is hoping to embarrass them into handing over what he wants.
Imagine if he's actually right about this and the West is bribing R*ssians in high places with a couple million dollaridoos to do the most moronic moves possible.
How the frick has Prigozhin not been open-window’d
No windows where he is, but one of his restaurants was destroyed.
He's literally on the front and in command of his own army of schizo loyalists. As long as he doesn't try to retire his ass back to Russia where the glowies can get him, and he still has men to survive the Ukies,he's actually safe.
A botches assassination on him could lead to moronic consequences so its too risky.
This is why you don't fricking have armies outside of your national army structure Putin you fricktard
>be de-Nazifying Ukraine
>use Russian SS who are named after Hitler's favorite composer and use Germanic runes
What did Vlad mean by this?
>Nazi Germany had no analogous for Wagner Group.
the organization Wagner Group is trying to mimic is Otto Skorzeny's Paladin Group
Because the risk of what he'd do if an assassination attempt failed far outweighs the benefit of getting rid of him.
Would Prigozhin ally with Ukraine? It would it just become a three part war?
Would Prigozhin try to build his own state? A state where soldiers can fight for themselves, an Outer Heaven, if you will?
>Ally with Ukraine
>Ukraine agrees
>Arrests Prigozhin for war crimes
Tbh I could see Prigozhin just fricking off to Syria or something
You forgot step 4.
>Send Prigozhin back to Russia as part of a prisoner exchange.
Wagner literally has 0 deepline logistics. Him and his men would litearly starve in a few days if they went against Russia
The Big Boss we never knew we needed
Don't ruin soldier country fantasy for me anon
Dunno. Maybe FSB can't easily get to him.
Because his statements are all theater. It's all Putin-approved
Ruskie knower
He should just outright leave Ukraine and promptly offer his mercs to Ukraine. Join the winning team and get rich.
There's nothing to indicate that him attacking the MoD doesn't mean he doesn't have the backing of Putin. In fact, everything indicates he answers to Putin and likely the FSB but not the MoD.
I don't know how anyone with a working brain could believe that. Putin is okay with him taping a field full of his own dead soldiers? You shitting me?
Yes, because the video full of dead soldiers is being used to blame Shoigu and the MoD, not Putin.
This is how Putin keeps his power, he deliberately promotes in-fighting amongst all of his underlings, ensuring they can't cooperate long enough to coup him. Prigozhin is a bigger personal threat to Shoigu and Gerasimov than Zelensky or HATO, which means while they have to keep working with him on Putin's orders, they'll do everything possible to prevent him from gaining too much power (and threatening Putin in the process).
>okay with him taping a field full of his own dead soldiers? You shitting me?
you really dont understand russians dont you?
Those penal battalions are long gone
Lol and what are they gonna do in Bakamutt when wagner deserts? Or even in Africa
Because FSB glowies like to stay where it's safe
Because he’s using the ancient technique of sitting in the middle of your own personal army on the frontier.
What would happen if he started marching towards Moscow? I know his troops are shit, but russias is too. would they even try to stop him?
As others have said, they are entirely dependent on Russia for any substantial logistics. They wouldn't even be able to make it out of Ukraine
But I do believe this is mostly an act to make himself look greater and talk down other parts of the army, who uses his cons as fodder for the reaper instead of their own troops.
god I fricking love mori's body
No he has some (by their standards lmao) well trained men. They arent all gay prisoners. The ukies themselves admit this. If you wanna huff your farts at least get a fart blanket, you smell like shit
Problem is Wagner's leader is like Putin in that he cannot psychologically handle defeat. He just HAS to double-down on Bakhmut even if it's a fricking stupid battle.
And I'd rather rebuild Ukraine and end up fricking rich as hell for actually doing a nice thing. Everyone would praise me as a fricking hero. Have my cake and eat it too.
some being the operative word
People like him tend to have "insurance" plans that take care of the loved ones of the people involved if something goes down.
He’s going to turn his army around and take Putin out, will be the next president of Russia
Too far away from any windows out on the front
How come his position hasn't been leaked to Ukrainian artillery?
>Russian glowBlack folk ACK Pringles
>Wagner completely collapses in Bakhmut
>Months of progress erased overnight
>Gestures of goodwill all the way from Luhansk to the coast immediately follow.
Russia is actually becoming more factionalist as a result of the war. I think people overestimate the control of Putin and the reach and unity of the FSB.
he still has an army
they need to shatter it completely at bakhmut first
Because it's like in ancient Rome. Wagner and Piggy have a lot of supporters among the plebs and proles. Outright assassinating him would look bad and could spark revolution
>POMPEY, CICERO, WHERE ARE MY LEGIONS
he is unironically safer on the front surrounded by his mercs than in a Moscow luxury apartment
how are they supposed to get him? Wagner is loyal solely to him. Is Russia supposed to commit resources it already doesn't have to apprehending some bandit mob?
Putin benefits from factions in his military and government competing for his favor.
He's technically higher rank than Putin in their gang, so I don't know if Putin would be allowed to chuck him out a window
based moron
he’s probably making sure to never enter any building that has stairs. he’s unironically the only Russian military officer to learn from the mistakes of others and he isn’t even a real officer
He’s kind of like a fun house mirror version of Caesar, plebs like him and he has a personal army at his disposal. I have absolutely no doubt that the Russian MoD is sabotaging Wagner operations in the battle of Bakhmut because victory would result in a gorillion drunk convicts recreating the march on Rome
this is a good sign, if the Russians cant stabilize the front and hold back reserve for a counter attack. It aint looking good IMO.
If russia wants to kill prigozhin they will simply leak his location to ukrain
but at this point Priggy's behaving like a Ukrainian asset, why would they kill him even if they are spoonfed his coordinates by the FSB?
Prigozhin is a (perhaps low) power player in the game of "Who wants to be the next czar?"
His exact location at any given moment is probably not known by the Kremlin. Or at least it would be assumed he'd attempt to hide it.
>Wants to rule over a corrupt hellish shithole doomed to collapse
Honestly he's a fricking idiot.
Better to reign in hell...
Ukraine is a worn-torn nation. The rebuilding contracts alone would be worth fortunes, plural.
wtf i growe dick
Id rather rule a shithole than take orders from one
Piggy leaked Rogozin’s position to the Ukrainians, btw, which lead to him being shelled on his birthday
That is the great thing about Ukrainians for Russians. They can use their enemy to kill their political rivals and give themselves plausible deniability.
Why? For money?
they told prigozhin that more supplies were to arrive just so he wouldnt leave before victory day. now that it past he is getting thrown under the bus
as ZEROMAN would put it
everywhere I only see fonts collapsing
So is Wagner leaving Bakhmut now or not?
In a manner of speaking, yes.
They're leaving in body bags.
>One more dawn. One more day One day more.
We'll be ready for these schoolboys
They will wet themselves with blood
From his 30 min rant video, rough translation
>We got this letter, that says if we leave Bakhmut it will be considered treason
>I am in touch with Surovikin but he is always in meetings so I can't get any answers
>We had Bakhmut, they were all running and abandoning but we had no ammo to finish it
>Russia thinks we have to do offensives on tv but Ukraine will do offensive on the ground.
>here is paper with stuff we are to receive
>We ask for 7000 shells, we get 1000
>Ask 7500 get 790
>Ask 960 get 68
>This is bad and if this continues we wont be able to fight at all
>If you just try to lie to the guy in charge we will lose and people will be mad
>Surovikin is good. He fights for us to be armed
>If they listened to him we would have been at Kramatorsk and Slavinsk by now
>72nd brigade lost 3km^2 today and we lost 500 people
>If the guys in charge want to win, they would look at my request and double it
>Just double the ammo
>Our army soldiers running away from positions due to dumb commanders
>Soldiers aren't supposed to die from stupid commanders
>Criminal state of affairs
>We are betrayed by a few at the top
>We were promised on the 7th ammo
>8th we got 10%
>9th we got nothing
>We were lied too
>So everyone happy victory day to our grandpas, but why we are celebrating?
>Stop fricking around on the Red Square
Next bit is aimed at soldiers
>How much ammo you boys need?
>16 rounds; we have 5 rounds for today, the request was taken up the chain of command
>The top guy relayed the order, the people in charge have not done anything
>Instead they are celebrating and they are getting their prostates massaged
>Give us ammo and tomorrow we will take the city
>Every 10 seconds the enemy fires, around 7500 rounds per day
>The enemy today is the bureaucrat
To new soldiers appearing*
>How much ammo for 120mm do you have?
>10, we need 100 min
>Bastards have the ammo, they just don't want to give it to us
>Surovikin is working on it!
>Every 10 seconds the enemy fires, around 7500 rounds per day
Can Russians stop lying for 5 seconds, if Ukraine had 7500 shells per daybto use in Bakhmut there would be no such thing as Wagner anymore
>Can Russians stop lying
I mean, the answer to that is very clearly “no”?
https://www.atlanticcouncil.org/blogs/ukrainealert/2022-review-why-has-vladimir-putins-ukraine-invasion-gone-so-badly-wrong/
Sounds an awful lot like the WW1 stabbed in the back story is gonna make a second appearance eventually.
with israelites you lose
The earlier you plant the "stab in the back" myth, the deeper it will settle.
>Stab in the back
Russians were corrupt, stupid and fighting each other all the time in this war. They have no one to blame but themselves for their idiocy. They didn't even have the brains to recognize the clear superiority of Ukrainians over them.
>"stab in the back"
>myth
It ain't a myth when it happens twice daily.
>72nd brigade lost 3km^2
Oh shit. So Ukies were not bullshitting.
lmao
>mfw Russian progress is so abysmal that 3km2 sets them back weeks
>I am in touch with Surovikin but he is always in meetings so I can't get any answers
Lel, no_shells_department.webm
>lost 500 people
Anon, he's saying the area that they lost because of the 72nd brigade retreating was "bought" with the lives of 500 people. In other words, he's lamenting that them (allegedly) fricking off without a fight they'll have to recapture what took 500 dead vatniks to capture in the first place.
He's not saying that 500 Wagnerites got killed in this counteroffensive.
Sad fact is, Russian troops do not want to die for Bakhmut with nearly the same zeal as Wagner Group.
Play the song of the Vatnik cannon fodder people!
>Surovikin is good.
lmao
People should read Surovikin's bio to understand why this is hilarious.
He terror-bombed Ukraine in the dead of winter like a deranged savage. The result was intensified Western support and hardening of Ukrainian resolve.
Apparently he's joined Wagner, so hopefully the Ukrainians can kill him soon.
Read about his life before 2022, you might begin to understand modern-day Russia a little better.
>arrested for shooting peaceful protesters against the USSR coup
>released on direct order of Yeltsin because he "was only following orders"
>Arrested and convicted for arms trafficking in 1995
>Overturned because he "only gave a pistol to a student candidate, he didn't know he would sell the pistol"(???)
>Beat the shit out of a subordinate colonel in 2004
>Same year he scolds the officer in charge of logistics for weapons and ammo in front of another officer
>Officer immediately shoots himself right then and there in front of everybody
LMAO IS EVERYBODY IN THE RU STATE SOME KIND OF FRICKING MOBSTER
Yes this is the case.
When the USSR collapsed all of the resources basically fell to mob rule. Realistically that was already happening, but with the boot of the state removed the mobsters could become the state.
>Same year he scolds the officer in charge of logistics for weapons and ammo in front of another officer
>Officer immediately shoots himself right then and there in front of everybody
Got a video? Sounds hilarious, but >trusting what russians say
Obviously there isn't one, this was in some military office in Russia. https://www.newsru.com/arch/russia/22apr2004/colonel.html
>prostate massage

>How did it get so bad
They started fighting an actual military instead of backwater militias
Shame the song wasn't nuclear, from mgs and that prigozhin doesn't have a nuke to threaten both Moscow and the west.
>had it made in Syria and Africa and
Wagner was an absolute joke in Syria, the only real opportunity they tried resulted in 3-digit casualties for nothing and in Africa they're just like Boko Haram but more moronic and those are genuine gorilla nigras, the utter bottom of the African barrel
They made the mistake of getting involved in a real war
>had it made
Just like with everything related to the Russian state, it only worked because they were surrounded by idiots who let them get away with everything.
How long until he gets the Givi treatment?
As soon as the war ends
The longer this war goes on, the more it seems like a moronic slavic Game of Thrones
>The longer this war goes on, the more it seems moronic
Ftfy
In civil war scenario would Prig be the likely leader of the ultra nationalist faction?
He didn't make the cut unfortunately
C'mon strelkov put on a show against those goat loving monkeys
Strelkov would basically be playing nightmare mode difficulty against almost anyone else, given the state of things.
he is a secret path you get if you start as Medvedev and fail to supply your armies properly, you will get a coup event then tag switch to Wagnerite Russia
Gotta come up with a revision of this now that Strelkov’s been arrested.
SourcE?
Wait, what? Since fricking when?
I want to play this video game.
It's visually based on Hearts of Iron 4, more specifically a mod callen TNO.
better version
How about mine?
>tfw it's already outdated becasue Finalnd joined NATO and Sweden will soon follow
>Letting the Chechens remain independent after all the shit they pulled
>Russia as chaotic divided hellhole
I demand a video game of this now, and I post Loona to reinforce this demand.
RISK: Vatnikistan Edition.
Battle multiple opponents as you try to conquer an AIDS-ridden, crime-infested dystopian hellhole.
This day has been an absolute fricking disaster for Russia. I feel sorry for their shills, best to just stop posting and then continue pretending this day never happend.
Can't get today's dollar if you just "stop posting."
where is the video of the Bradley wrecking Russians?
regarts
Not a Bradley morons
>Waits for others to prove or disprove the video
>Assumes the position of authority and calls others moronic
You're the lowliest kind of unlikeable homosexual.
i don’t understand how you idiots take anything he says at face value. he’s literally controlled opposition, like gherkin. just mouth pieces of the FSB.
>i don’t understand how you idiots take anything he says at face value. he’s literally controlled opposition, like gherkin. just mouth pieces of the FSB.
He's a mobster and a good bullshitter. Everything he says is spin or a lie for his own benefit. He saw his own guys collapse, so he got ahead of the narrative to put blame on the Russian army. He's an entertaining clown though.
It's double entertaining because Girkin and Prozakob***h HATE each other, lol. It's literally Clown vs Clown.
he wanted to leave but turns out he can't so he's coping because RUSSIA IS WINNING but not his PMC
Is this the modern equivalent of the Praetorian Guard turning on their master?
It could be worse for Putin. Ukraine could BUY Wagner's services. Offer him more money (and amnesty) than he can count.
Black, Wagner doesn't get hired without Putin's/Putin's direct government's permission. Neither does the money they make not eventually get kicked back to Putin at least in part.
what's the deal with Russians and doomposting IRL? Seems really unprofessional to say all these things publicly
They're pointing fingers to shift blame.
The fall guy will have his career, and possibly life, ended
They know the end of the war is near and they want to make sure they dont get blames. So the finger pointing has started in advance.
War is obviously not going according to plan so they are trying to find a fall guy who will be window'd
It's a little from column A, B and C on top of D (Ineptitude). You gotta denazify fields somehow, anon.
This causes a positive feedback loop
>need more shells to hit or suppress target
>need more artillery pieces to fire more rapidly in any given strike
>firing more and faster wears out barrels faster
>causing you to be less accurate
>causing you to need to expend more shells
In the end it’s cheaper and more logistically sustainable to focus on a smaller number of more mobile, precise, long ranged and more expensive fire systems/munitions than to spam cheap dumb shells, never mind the immediate effectiveness.
I dont understand Putin politics at fricking all
>We want zelenskiy regime GONE
Zelenskiy support was at 37% and dropping pre war, and it rised to 93% after. He was considered a CLOWN both on international and domestic scene. After invasion all news paint him as Leader of the free world.
>Prigozhin openly shits on Shoigu and Gerasimov
Those 2 guys are appointed AND supported by Putin. Openly shitting on them means shitting on Putin choices, means shitting on Putin
>Russia is willing to sell MORE OIL for LESS MONEY to india and china
Hope that clears things up.
There's a very high chance it would've gone the way Putin had initially envisioned.
>There's a very high chance it would've gone the way Putin had initially envisioned.
"I don't need a ride, I need ammo" was the moment I realised that holy shit, this was going to be an actual war and not just a quick stomp.
Maybe it might actually have worked if Zelenskiy fled like Yanukovych.
Russia ALSO has the worst HIV/AIDS epidemic in all of Europe easily, on top of massive drinking deaths.
This rate, Ukrainians will outnumber Russians in a matter of decades.
Russians are just the result of always blaming everyone else for your own failure, instead of taking responsibility and manning up. Even their "intellectuals" are just crazy homeless people they slapped a suit on, spouting schizo nonsense.
Don't forget
>we want to stop NATO expansion
>doubles NATO border with Russia
>we want to de-militarize
>Ukraine is one of the most well armed and well trained armies in Europe now
He thought he could take Ukraine in a week or two.
>Prigozhin is a constant source of entertainment
You have no idea. Check this out.
all those nade videos make me think it just two guys manning giant trenches, but when you finally see all of them routing like that in just one sector, it really shows how much more work ukrainians have cut out for them even after all that fighting
The UAV vids are scouting after an artillery strike on the trench. So everyone else has fled, is wounded, or hiding in a bunker. They then murder the wounded or stragglers.
why prigozhin need ammo? look at hohols, using tank as bulldozer, no ammo needed
>using tank as bulldozer, no ammo needed
Original ISIS-American tactic, America soldier bury many valiant Iraqi defender with dozerblade fixed to tank.
vatnik propagandists:
>lmao, 200 hohols per day
Prigozhin:
>we just lost over 500 today, in only this tiny portion of the front
My advice to the Ukrainians to get the frick away from Russian culture as fast as possible.
Derussification. Find every way possible to set yourself apart. Put more fricking fruit in your cuisine (Russians apparently don't like Vitamin C being primitive barbarians).
>Russians apparently don't like Vitamin C
This is false.
While they are not Bulgarians (who, especially old people, can't stop ingesting tomato salad with every meal), they do eat fresh fruit regularly.
Russians can't eat fruits. It would make them cannibals.
Sweet Home Mother Russia!
christ, this place really is just reddit nowadays
how are you not embarrassed of yourself, you imbecile
Russia is a shithole, every place that is in its sphere of influence is also a shithole.
Ukraine can escape being a shithole by escaping from Russia. Does that compute? I can draw you a schematic if you need one.
>My advice to the Ukrainians to get the frick away from Russian culture as fast as possible.
They are though. That's kind of the whole point of this war.
>we just lost over 500 today
No. See
.
>show dead bodies
>the word homosexual gets censored
This shit makes me physically cringe every time.
its ok to kill them but be respectful and courteous while doing it
homosexual
Russians never stood a chance
Good, if they wanted fair chance they should play sports (without cheating like those homosexuals always do).
>Russia has mercenary commanders that straight up do shoot promos at their own side
the special military operation that keeps on giving
What possible outcome is he expecting?
>guy who doesn’t know anything about Russian politics yells at people who know very little about Russian politics
I see you’re invincible to irony.
>US announces new Future Soldier program with funky armour and shit
>Russia then announces they're doing this too but their armour can stop 0.50BMG
>US announces the M1299 to replace the M109 Paladin, says it can do like 60km with certain rounds
>Russia announces it has a SPG that can do 80km. Do we have proof? No. Just says it can.
>US does a public test of the MOAB and records the data. Just goes 'Hey look at this world'.
>Russia then does the FOAB and goes 'Yeah it's even more powerful than MOAB'
>US says it has a self-guiding sniper round that can hit a target at 3km away
>Russia then says it has a self-guiding sniper round that can hit a target at 5km away
It would be a genius and cost effective move by the west.
I personally think the West should shamelessly bribe Russians to abandon their posts and flee for their lives.
>Inb4 LOTR reference pointed out
