What is the load out all men should have, to be able to defend their family and community from tyranny? What I have so far: AR-15, 9mm, and 12 gauge. All fit nicely in my new pelican case.

>killing tyranny with 5.56
You need 7.62
Also why such a long barrel on the shotgun? Impractical.
I just haven’t sawed it off yet
Don't you fucking dare, buy a fucking barrel from mossberg or from a dealer and just get an 18 inch rated for use with slugs. They're easy to change out and you'll forever regret chopping your shit.
I bought this shotgun for 70 dollars from a coworker who had to move on short notice. I have other nice shotguns for hunting.
>18 inch rated for use with slugs.
While I agree it should be able to handle slugs, I wouldn't use slugs in something like that unless I was hunting (and I'd want something a bit longer if I was hunting with a shotgun)
I’m building a kalashnikov now… but I initially had this AR-15. I feel like the average person can get by with either.
I meant 7.62 nato
The difference between 7.62×39 and 5.56x45 is irrelevant
If anon already has an AR-15 the shotgun is completely redundant as a defensive weapon. Having a long barrel for hunting and sporting purposes makes more sense.
Are you so fucking urbanized that you can't conceptualize why a 28 inch barrel mossberg 835 goddamn ultimag would exist?
fuck you
>No .308
>A single magazine
>No optics
>No training or understanding of reconnaissance or IMTs

OP... I...
I don't understand the point of the foam cut inserts. all of my hard cases are just egg crate foam and it has never been a problem. a couple of my pistols came with cut foam and it's annoying to remove things from it. I wouldn't want cut inserts because it locks you into one decision. you can just add some packing if you need to ship your guns
I simply plunge my guns into a black trash bag full of packing peanuts.
if you need to take them on an airplane you might wanna stuff some old grocery bags between them or something when packing them in the hard case
My luggage case is also a black trash bag.
That's why OP mentioned defending their family, you give your wife the rifle and you take the shotgun.
>Trusting a woman with important tasks
shiggy diggy mah niggy
Why not? A woman can shoot a man dead same as you can. I see no reason to not let a woman help in a home defense situation, and anyway, another person with a gun is still another person with a gun, even if they're a woman. Having two X chromosomes doesn't change shit.
do you plan to blow out everyone's ear drums if you need to defend your home?
Women too, anybody can handle the recoil of 5.56, 12 gauge, and 9mm. No excuse for everybody to not have one of each. And anyway, why would you want a single person gunning down a bad guy when you can have two?
I sold my M&P AR because I didn't like or shoot it. Didn't trust it for home defense either. These are the only 2 guns I need if I had to sell most of them off, although I still have an AK and chest rig. I agree with
that any handgun/long gun should suffice. I, too, will help by paying taxes, lowering my head, agreeing with any reasonable presidential order, and taking my guns fishing a lot.
Not entirely true, brought my 9yo brother to the gun range and he could barely hold up my AR, and I haven't even put that much shit on it yet.
Children are better suited on crew served weaponry
Any long gun and any concealable handgun. Anything that isn't a single shot will be better than nothing, and everything has a niche. I plan on fighting tyranny by paying taxes, falling in line, and voting for example.
M&P15 is actually a really good starting point.
Find a way to attach a white light to it
Then buy a bunch of mags
A holosun red dot or a prism optic
A sling
A chest rig
A backpack
A water filter
A lighter and flint/steel
Cordage
Sleep system sleeping bag, tent/tarp, sleeping mat
Food storage
Tons of ammo
Eventually get a plate carrier and lvl 4 armor
Eventually get a pvs 14 and rely on passive aiming cause its better and saves you 2k
Other option is going with a longer range setup like an AR10 or a bolt action
I have most of the things on your list. My recently deceased left my brother and I a large steel building on a few hundred acres with lots of ammo and reloading equipment. It finally pushed me to getting serious about getting more prepared for unexpected events. I still need to get armor and also have a 7mm mag bolt action that I use to hunt.
>level 4 armor
honestly i think 90% of people would be better suited with 5.56 rated level 3. lighter but still strong enough to stop rifle rated threats.
>nvgs
>passive aiming
holy shit you gays should just get a .30-06 with a fucking therman optic. passive aiming is the most retarded shit ever. how many of you retards have actually practiced passive aiming? im guessing very few because you'd know that its dog shit. either get a fucking laser or get a fucking thermal optic.
Hey I am all for people getting a thermal optic or scope but mostly if they are building a marksman setup.
But for someone planning on patrolling you want NVGs
I don't actually plan on doing much patrolling in the most likely scenario it will be more of a guarding your families AO or a road block for extended periods which a thermal would be better for.
>a watch
>a lighter
>a blade and sheath
>a durable bag
>a shotgun and sling
>a rifle and sling
>a handgun with holster
>a rigid gun belt
You can do a lot with those things.
A water filter or iodine tablets are more important than almost all of those things you listed.
Do you really want to go that detailed? Should we get into vehicles, how much land you need, how many people you should know, amount of food needed, toilet paper allocations?
Water is the number one thing you need to survive
It should literally even come before food shelter or protection which are the other 3 essential needs to survive
He didn't say what you need to survive you cock slurping gay. He asked about loadout. Scrape the jizz out of your eyes and read.
What is the point of a loadout if not to sustain your life.
Pull out your life straw when the door breaks down you bottom bitch.
In that case im not even grabbing a plate carrier. I am just grabbing my AR with a D60 in it.
AR/Ak
Plastic wonder 9
12 gauge
22lr
All weapons in final form optics lights slings etc. And 500 rounds of SHTF reserve ammo for each
Very well rounded OP. You're definitely on the right track.
>Electronic ear pro for every member of the family
>18" barrel for shotgun, they're cheap and don't be a retard and saw your 28" incase you get friends and want to go skeet shooting/hunting
>Light for your HD weapon, whichever you'd like it to be
>If you have a wife, make sure you have a weapon she is comfortable with. Comfort makes any shooter better (I got my wife a PCC and she loves it) Built for PCC.
>Always buy ammo whenever you can, shortages are constant and are always around the corner
in what martial situation would you choose your shotgun over an AR?
>He doesn't have straight, lengthy tunnels under his home.
>from tyranny
Stop falling for hero fantasy bullshit, organize, and vote so the the tyranny doesn't get there in the first place you retard.. Tyranny comes from large groups of people, and only in fiction does one person or a small group of people with small small arms make a difference a large group of people.
I agree with all this. But I still think having a reasonable amount of weapons is always smart.
>Just vote out the corrupt politicians that are swayed by corporate money!
I wouldn't trust the average person to do anything, let alone do any modicum of research as to who to vote for.
IEDs
A pistol that you carry every day
If that's a g19 sure, if it's a g26 sure, if it's a p365, or beretta cheetah, whatever
Maybe one long gun for home defense then everything else is larp or hunting which is fine
>What is the load out all men should have, to be able to defend their family and community from tyranny? What I have so far: AR-15, 9mm, and 12 gauge. All fit nicely in my new pelican case.
Honestly, it depends on HOW specialized that you want to get:
Subcompact pistol for CCW
Full-size pistol for bed stand gun, with light, laser, red dot, silencer.
Silenced .22lr pistol for stealth operating.
12 Gauge Shotgun with birdshot for birds/drones/squirrels and buckshot for home defense.
9mm Pistol Caliber Carbine for places where a full size 5.56 rifle won't fit.
300 blackout bolt-action with silencer for quiet shots.
5.56 semi-auto rifle with silencer, light/laser + IR gear + Optics of choice for operating operationally.
Some other long-range gun in .308 or a larger magnum caliber for very long range shots.
.22lr rifle for plinking and cheap fun.
This kit is issued to every American male at birth.
>M&P sport without an optic or sling
>20 something inch barrel Turkish or Chinese shotgun with 5 round capacity (it holds three rounds because the owner doesn't know about the plug) because this configuration was on clearance
>Some not-glock polymer handgun, probably a canik or some other Turkish shit
>"Manly men like me consoom manly product"
I see the PSA product review and Q&A section has blown over into PrepHole
I have a sling, just took it off. Don’t need optics for this, I have a 7mm mag with a noice thermal scope and I’m not trying spend more right now. It’s a gradual process.
The 9mm is a Walther PQQ
>Don’t need optics for this, I have a 7mm mag with a noice thermal scope
Kek based boomer you are alright. Enjoy your stay
>single case
>three guns
>no slots cut for ammo boxes
faceplant at the finish line, classic
Why should I put ammo in the case? I have separate ammo cans. You think they should be in the case?
Anyone who thinks anyone else should have their choice in firearms dictated to them are dumb.
Am I gonna make it?
