what do you think they will be getting, Leo 2, Abrams, K2, something else?

Given that they are heavily partnered with Germany and also would really like a germen brigade permanently based in their country, Leo2.
They will more look at Poland than Germany I guess. Neighbour country with operational army, no need to wait 1 yr till germany would collect one brigade functional vehicles but still with no ammo.
Nope. Because Germanx actuall has factories as opposed to Poland. Poland may have a tank factory in the future. Also, the Lithuanian government actually asked Germany to permanently base a brigade in country.
Because they are one of the focus points of yuro defensive policy.
Yet your government keeps buying Boxers and will likely buy L2 aswell.
They absoluteyl should procure together and also pool certain resources. Its the way all of Europe (minus Poland) is going ahead.
I hate that we're "partnered" with germoids so much. It takes FOREVER for them to supply the equipment we order.
Yeah that's true. I would prefer ukrainian oplot built somewhere in kavarskas tank factory to those slow ass germans... Probably deliveries would be faster and much cheaper too.
lmao, retards
t.eesti
Mongol hyperhorde rebuild?
I think Leo2 for political reasons. K2 will probably win the trials though if there are any.
K2 lost the Norwegian trials. It’s a dud
Norwegian military recommended twice morons tank. Government give shit about that and suck tiny kraut wiener as usual. Worst norwegian prime minister Geir Store after elections will get new lucrative job outside Norway, remember my words
>Norwegian military recommended
One guy who didn't want any tanks in the first place did, the army vastly preferred the Leo bid due to being built around Leos.
Love how you cant even get the name right in your sperging
Keep dreaming.
>the Norwegian Army recommended the K2 t
One guy who didn't want any tanks did, the Norwegian armored forces have been built around Leo's for decades and they have no intention to change.
moron wtf has Lithuania even ordered and what makes you think any other country would deliver fresh vehicles faster?
Is that so? Scroll to the bottom

>with the exception of price and weight, there is little that separates them.
>They point to the fact that the Ministry of Defense has stated on several occasions that the choice of supplier will be made on the basis of a broad evaluation of price, performance, operational, logistical and industrial cooperation, as well as security policy assessments.
Nothing wrong with a purely political decision, let's just stop pretending the Leopard 2 provides any real advantage over the competition. It's not like WarThoonder, bub.
>Nothing wrong with a purely political decision, let's just stop pretending the Leopard 2 provides any real advantage over the competition. It's not like WarThoonder, bub.
it does. It's by far the most widespread MBT in Europe, which makes logistics and interoperability much easier.
Idk anon, the readiness of Bundeswehr own Leopards tells different story.
E.g. the Dutch were denied to buy dozen A6 for Ukraine, because that would strip joint DE-NL battlegroup from only tanks fitting NATO VJTF regime. Correct me if I'm wrong.
That's a lot of recovery vehicles.
Let's hope the "established supply chains and interoperability" aren't the meme the "industrial powerhouse ready to remilitarise" turned out to be:

>shitposts about muh political decision
>immediately BTFO with basic facts
>runs and hides while trying to move goalposts
lmao
>That's a lot of recovery vehicles.
>recovery vehicles
You literally don't even know the wide range of tank-based, particularly leopard-based support vehicles.
We have literal gays and crossdressers who namefag here and you're still the greatest pussy of them all. You also know fuck-all about tanks or warfare, but wanna know what's funny?
You're still the most knowledgeable polish poster on this board.
>Correct me if I'm wrong.
you are wrong. Leo 2 is by far the most widespread western MBT in Europe.
Never say it isn't. But I find it worrisome there's not enough of
>the most widespread western MBT in Europe
to send a hundred or so into Ukrainian aid as soon as SHTF a year ago.
there are like 3x the number of Abrams compared to the Leo 2 and the US sends even fewer Abrams than Leo 2s are being sent.
True, but the Abrams' lacking European supply network & chain of users allowing for fast training and other synergies, that's been just mentioned. And God forbid return to manufacturer.
>True, but the Abrams' lacking European supply network & chain of users allowing for fast training and other synergies, that's been just mentioned
Literally none of that is true, you fucking retard.
How do you think Americans operated their tanks in the middle east?
What do you think all those bases of America in Europe are for?
How are you always the least informed person in any tank thread?
You might consider changing the script, these reddit tier insults are getting stale.
That makes sense.
If a charity is out of question, You can sell A4 chassis to RHM :*~~
>That pic
I kek every time. Existed to see whatever the Kf51 ends up becoming
>You might consider changing the script, these reddit tier insults are getting stale.
>get everything wrong
>don't understand the American supply system
>still spend 12+ hours every day on PrepHole to talk about warfare
lmao
>And God forbid return to manufacturer.
Rheinmetall and KMW are building a facility in Lithuania for Boxer & PzH 2000 maintenance, I assume that could take care of Leo 2s too
>countries don't want to give up good tanks for Ukraine
There's a reason even Poland barely sent any. Contrary to old soviet shit they're actually useful.
>Leopard 2 is the best tank available
>Unless you need to stop horde of gay rußians pillaging the hood
>Then it isn't available
Are there any critical parts made exclusively by Swiss subcontractors, we should know about?
>Unless you
>you
Ukraine isn't you, it's them.
Keep seething like you always do, subhuman.
>That's a lot of recovery vehicles
6 ARV's, 6 AEV's, 6 AVLB's and it looks like it will be between 8-12 more. And what happens with the A4 we dont really know
>the Leopard 2 provides any real advantage over the competition
There are several areas where keeping with the Leo has advantages, especially for a small country like Norway.
Logistics-wise they get a lot of shared stuff with their new support fleet, which is especially important once you go from 70-80 down to 54, along with aprox 30 leo 2 support vehicles.
They dont need to establish two seperate systems for STTE and spare parts. And they can keep working with sweden, germany, switzerland, austria etc using their training equipment.
All of these are "soft factors" that can easily be set aside if a new system is several times more potent, but they come into play when you have two contenders ranked almost equal in performance and only differ in price.
>Is that so?
Yes.
>Nothing wrong with a purely political decision, let's just stop pretending the Leopard 2 provides any real advantage over the competition.
Why do you insist on posting about topics you clearly have no idea about?
>entire support vehicle fleet based on the Leo
>entire maintenance apparatus based around the Leo
>decades of experience with the Leo
>doctrine based on the Leo
>nearly all allies use the Leo
All of that +
No matter how much you retarded noguns polacks cope and shit up my board, it still wasn't a "purely political" decision. It was the objectively right decision and your retarded point of
>hurr durr it doesn't really make a difference in actual use
Only supports that.
have a nice day you attention seeking fucktard. Don't namefag if you have nothing to contribute.
>makes dumb shit up about delivery times while being small, irrelevant and not ordering any real numbers of anything
Do you think the world revolves around you? Your country has less people than plenty of cities.
>My board
Hello Denis
You only started posting here in 2018, have never contributed anything that would make a name on PrepHole useful or meaningful, literally spend every single day on this board begging for the attention of strangers and your compatriots invaded PrepHole last year to shit it up even more.
Poles are on average among the worst posters on PrepHole and you're a perfect representation for them.
>moron wtf has Lithuania even ordered
>barges into discussion knowing jack shit about the subject matter
Turi būti aštuoniolikos metų, kad galėtum naudotis šia svetaine
>gets asked a question
>pretends people have a duty to know about his country
>refuses to elaborate further
So it's safe to say you made that shit up?
Good to know.
>the K2 trial meme appears
I know a person who would be happy to provide T55 Obr. 2023 with crews
Given the insane German influence in the region, it's gonna be Leopard.
I mean the Norwegian Army recommended the K2 twice, Koreans keep the initial price despite initial order being reduced from 70 to 50; the delivery could be almost instant... All for nothing. The politicians are in bed with KMW.
>the delivery could be almost instant
Those would have been SK versions tho. Actuall K2NO would still be around 2025/26 and onwards
A gap filler is a gap filler. In meantime, Leo2A4 could've been donated to Ukraine
True
Lithuania is based.
I only wish my country (Estonia) would be as serious about building up our forces.
Lithuania is twice as big, but in general I really dont understand why baltics are not doing procurements together to have lower costs and better interoperability...
>procurements together
we do or in estonias case with finland aswell
You guys are alright. It's the L*tvians I'm worried about. They keep making retarded procurement decisions
Suck my balls mate
>retarded procurement decisions
This is what just 25% Russian population does to a country...
>its another irrelevant Baltic shitter thread
Why do these microstates get talked up so much on PrepHole while countries with actual militaries like Australia or South Korea get ignored?
Baltics are majority conscripts, yet PrepHole likes to wank them off as if they were superior to much more powerful countries like Finland and Poland
These fucks can field at most three brigades of troops, use hand me downs like Galils and CVRTs from the Bongs yet they are delusional enough to larp and believe they are among the most powerful countries in the world
because zisters, they are the next warzone after ukraine ends in whatever way and Belarus gets officially occupied. Also nothing wrong with a reservist based army using conscription to train said reserves while maintaining a professional core that will form the nervous system of the mobilized army. Very cost efficient while tying the entire society into the military shell. Something pure mercenary armies like western ones fail at and thus right now are having recruitment problems. While majority of investment money goes into personal costs like salaries for private grunts.
Finns use it very successfully and it is only the broken africa level russhitia that is giving it a bad name now.
I forget, was that a t-72 the BTR-4 took out? I haven't gotten into that War Thunder bracket yet to visually ID...
One took out a BMP-2 as well.
>they are the next warzone after ukraine ends in whatever way
Do you really think people will start believing this bullshit only because you keep repeating it every day?
>posting bunker chud leftist memes on PrepHole
Poles are something else.
not a fan of jannies
He was probably the guy who started spamming blacked porn when he was BTFO so for this brief instance I support them.
No, that was me you retard
They should get a neo-T-64 with 120mm gun and bustle-mounted autoloader.
>neo T-64
That sounds sexy.
Knowing our doctrine perfect one would be Merkava (due capability to carry troops in the back and its a light tank) or a K2 (light tanks also maintainace hub right next door no need to send to Germans or Americans when some serious shit breaks) when we get the tests from the Poles
