Do you think it works on anything or just glonk brand glonks?

Works on everything but only needed for Glocks.
See, before Glock people shot pistols very accurately. They'd practice shooting bullseyes at 25 yards all the time. Then Glock showed up with shit sights and shit trigger and fricked up rifling and suddenly it only mattered that you could hit the side of a barn sometimes. People couldn't hit a torso outline at 25 yards so they started talking about how self defense shootings happen at 3 feet so now everyone shoots at the 3 foot line but that IS BECAUSE THEY CAN'T HIT ANYTHING FURTHER AWAY.
I'm like >bro if you can hit it at 25 yards you can hit it at 3 feet
      And they're all
      >TRAIN LIKE YOU FIGHT
and some other nonsense. Buy an Apex trigger or skimmer or whatever so now you can move back to the 5 foot line. Buy a $300 barrel move back to 6. Buy special sights shoot at 7. Red dot holosun now can hit at 8. Buy a magwell so you can get more bullets in faster after you miss everything because the guy was 9 feet away and you couldn't afford the next mod.
Frickin meanwhile, some guy with a 1911 that was made in 1911 is printing cloverleafs over on the rifle range next to a guy dumping a D60 out of his 7" barreled AT15 with a pistol brace at a 50% hit rate also at 25 yards.

          Simple fact.
After Cooper but before Glock, emphasis was on shooting with accuracy. Then Glock came along with its 17 rounds and utter shit ergos it changed to spray and pray.

I've unironically never shot a gun that I found more comfortable than a Glock.

Would this thing actually teach you anything, or would you just get dependent on it

I appreciate the effort post but the reason I was asking is because I have nerve damage in my right hand and my trigger pull has been bad for decades. It's not too bad with rifles but I can't seem to correct it with pistols. If it works on everything I'll give it a shot at that price point, thanks.

I heard dry firing is bad for your gun is this true?

Rimfire mostly yes, centerfire mostly no.

Mostly applies to older guns and rimfire. For example I have a Type 54 that spat its firing pin directly back into my eye one time when I was practicing because the retaining pin walked out

depends. revolvers, rimfires and older guns is probably is bad. dry firing something like an AR15 is literally fine though and does zero damage to the gun

Pulling the trigger is the easiest part though. All you have to do is dry fire. Pick out stationary targets in your house like pictures and practice. Then move on to moving ones like birds or your neighbors.
I'm a pretty middling shot, but I can pull a trigger.
