This. US just spent $710 billion on "climate change" for ONE YEAR. It will spend even more next year probably. Biden doesn't care about inflation, but Ukraine is contributing very little to do that.

I would say give $40 billion to Ukraine by spending $670 billion on global warming instead Though preferably, $40 billion to Ukraine and $0 on global warming (net gain of $710 billion) because I want less inflation and I want funny webms of russians dying

Isn't the climate bill 310 billion?
Any way that sure there is dumb shit in that climate bill but there are a ton of good things in it.
A ton of subsidies and tax credits that will help grow American business as well as make it cheaper for Americans to afford solar and battery systems.
They are not a wunderwaffe like the dems say but they are good if you live in a fairly sunny state.(I am planning on a 20kw solar system and 50kwh storage system for my house)
Most of this spending will actually help americans unlike the bullshit was all the pandemic spending.

Anon, the US during WW2 armed and funded the Soviet Union while it was also arming and funding itself. This war is nowhere near as big or costly. In exchange for what we have paid, we are finally bringing down a former superpower and effectively ensuring that we never have to worry about Russia as a military opponent for the rest of the 21st century.

                >On December 1, 2018, Huawei's board deputy chair Meng Wanzhou was detained upon arrival at Vancouver International Airport by Canada Border Services Agency officers for questioning, which lasted three hours. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police subsequently arrested her on a provisional U.S. extradition request for fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud in order to circumvent U.S. sanctions against Iran. On January 28, 2019, the U.S. Department of Justice formally announced financial fraud charges against Meng. The first stage of the extradition hearing for Meng began Monday, January 20, 2020, and concluded on May 27, 2020, when the Supreme Court of British Columbia ordered the extradition to proceed.

                >On 24 September 2021, the Department of Justice announced it had reached a deal with Meng to resolve the case through a deferred prosecution agreement. As part of the deal, Meng agreed to a statement of facts that said she had made untrue statements to HSBC to enable transactions in the U.S., at least some of which supported Huawei's work in Iran in violation of U.S. sanctions, but did not have to pay a fine nor plead guilty to her key charges. The Department of Justice said it would move to dismiss all charges against Meng when the deferral period ends on 21 December 2022, on the condition that Meng is not charged with a crime before then.Meng left Canada for China on 24 September 2021, and hours after news of the deal two Canadians Michael Spavor and Michael Kovrig (their arrests seen as retaliation for Meng's arrest) were released from jail in China and on a plane back to Canada.
basicly china was seething that one of their elite got arrested for fraud

She is handing out money crowns. She is bored, so she points randomly to whatever fancies her at the time. The people around are also restless, and hungry for blood and money. The rich and powerful compete to lie the best for a money crown, to entertain the bored lady liberty, and the most deceitful lies tend to win. Then they can go and collect more skulls for the lady’s throne, and more blood to satisfy the peoples thirst. But they cannot find enough blood to satisfy them all, and they keep being too hungry, it’s distracting, just more bones for the bone throne.

In other words, they view America and it’s freedom as a zombie apocalypse, and are terrified.

Just think about this for a moment. The US had to do all of this, involving multiple other countries, while maintaining a huge international presence, after losing a shit load of equipment on Afghanistan and all without meaningfully depleting their own forces and at very short notice. Meanwhile Russia is fielding units with stuff from the fucking 50's. This is the kind of thing real super powers can do when they 'raise their eyebrow'.

    >people still trying to claim that money figure in the form of military aid is a waste to US economy
when did people forget we've been a wartime economy for like 70 years? Literally donating this shit then restocking is going to be a stupidly good boost.

It is not just restocking. Half of the Europe is now buying same stuff from the USA. US spent like 5% of the military budget and received collapse of Russian military, best advertisement for American military hardware since WWII and strengthened it's position on world stage too. Literally deal of a century.

      It kind of is.

The profits from all these weapon purchases stays in US, it's just the dying is done by Ukrainians.

You know how all the anti-US shitposters say that all you have to do to defeat US is make them watch bodies coming home on the news?
Well, US is waging war on Russia but has zero bodies coming home on the news. They'll keep spending money on weapons until the last drop of Ukraines blood. And Ukraine will thank them for it because they need it and they can't realistically hope for nuclear powers to go head-to-head.

This is a rare moment in history where the most cynical and profitable thing to do is technically also the right thing to do.

And it's still a tiny fraction of what US bails-out billionaires with all the time.

Also, most of our military expenditures exist because of Russia anyways, so we actually get a pretty good ROI on military aid to Ukraine (not to mention all the Russian tech we've been getting from captured equipment).
