Let's talk about St-Petersburg AA defense grid

What is Monke allowing drones to regularly strike Russia major cities and destroy oil production facility? It is part of an advanced, tactical, grand strategic plan? What is his game? And why S-300 are so ineffective?

I'm not sure if they have enough S-300 rockets to be wasting them on tiny drones. Plus over the course of this conflict it has become very obvious that air defense is not part of the core competencies of the russian military

Imagine using your AA missiles to terror bomb random commie blocks in ukraine and not using them to defend your own soil.

The terror bombing is actually tying up a lot of Ukrainian AA assets so it's pretty effective in that way. Morally abhorrent and all that but it's logical and dictatorships have to care less about defending their own people from retaliation.

Puccia doesn't care much about those drone attacks, he know that Ukraine will exclusively hit strategic or tactical targets and are not subhumans that purposely hit civilians targets like they do...

The Finns don't really ape out so there wasn't a reason for AD there previously. Now that the ukrohoholpiggies are targeting civilian infrastructure completely unprovoked it is necessary. Russia being the defender of trad and based values will give a proportionate response by targeting a kindergarten in Kyiv with some Soviet missile made in the eighties that like four people have heard of and which has a CEP of about 3 kilometers.

      >3 km CEP
Bit optimistic about the guidance systems there. I know what it says on paper but I've yet to see anything from russia perform to specs.

It has come to my attention that confirming these statements is now not only a possibility but an actual inevitability. While information is still being clarified on all channels it has become obvious to everyone that everything will be known in time.

Is their border patrol effective at keeping angry Ukrainians out? Was watching a vlogger travel about in Karliens old churches and he was nagged by russian border patrol on his cell phone every hour

"The press service of St. Petersburg's city administration said an "incident" occurred at an industrial site in the Nevsky district of the city on Jan. 31" "The sources told RBC Ukraine that Russia had used its S-400 air defense system to target the drone, but it proved ineffective, and the drone fell on its alleged target."

Im not even sure Russia can detect (all) of those drones. Ukraine is mass producing them now and is sending like 10 each time. Good luck kek

    >It is part of an advanced, tactical, grand strategic plan?
The plan is that 49% of Russia's AA is in Crimea
49% is along the rest of the front
and 2% sits around trying to look serious in the population centres
Even despite decades of shitting out AA, they don't have enough and what they do have isn't effective enough

Russia is just too big to cover with AA

They can even cover some of their major cities?

There's nothing to cover with AA and nobody to experience the lack of it in 95% of russia. The few unfortunate living beings that exist in that dumping ground of trash, sewage, industrial and nuclear waste would most likely welcome an attack to ease their suffering.

because the alternative is to allow targets elsewhere to be hit if you move additional AA in to protect St.Pidorburg
    >why don't they just reallocate AA from the far east
anon they started moving their Siberian and Arctic AA units into Ukraine over a year ago. There is probably a skeleton crew of AA assets and crews, at best, east of the Urals at this point.
