Let's play a game

The game is simple. Post a picture of a single part of your gun, and anons try to guess what gun it came from.

I'd say this, looks like the swede flag safety.

This never got guessed in the last thread like this. There should be enough in this pic to ID at least the make and one of two possible models

It is a Colt, but not a SAA or 1887. It was around in 1887 tho

You can tell because it's a straight handle, not blued, has a checkered safety and the distinctive wienering piece.

        That's from a pen.

It's from one of the MAS-49 firing spring kits. Which is to say last anon is also right and wrong at the same time; they shave down a titanium firing pin to fit a pen spring around it. Bring that dick around and get a tuggie big boy.

Clearly a Mauser action/bolt. Although in terms of what specific Mauser you've got me. I know because I'm currently working on one that looked like it was in a fire, trying to make it a pretty wall hanger. Pitted to frick, but nothing a dremel can't fix.

this is an extractor but I'm not sure what it's from. I'm guessing German, possibly from a handgun, made prior to WW2? Maybe around WW1.

        Anonymous

on second thought, it may be a WW2 mid-war production gun considering how rough that machining is. I wouldn't place it any further than that, though.
