>If they are sold for under $2000 I might get one
They are sold for about $1800 in Poland, that's with 23% VAT included. And you can convert to bull-pup by buying 3 replacable modules which you don't need a license/promise for and which cost a few hundred bucks in total. So you can basically get 2 rifles for ~$2400
Arms of America got Grot magazines, so they gotta be at least thinking about it, right?
I don't think it was ever approved for import because I remember it being shown off at shot show like ten years ago when Radom was trying to open a US branch but then they were never able to, and I'm thinking their aren't any coming in until they do.
See... This is all I want. Mag release to be symmetrical and bolt catch/release controls in the trigger guard!!!! Why is it so fricking hard to ask for that? Why is every fat fricking Murican thinking something in the trigger guard is going to cause ND?!! Our ancestors fricking used it on their rifles in WW fricking two!!!! Why the frick are muricans so fricking handicapped?!
It's just a "culture" thing. No need to sperg about it. The only reason it's not really common here is because everything is an AR derivative now. That's something to be mad about.
I'm always honest.
Lying on an anonymous internet board is stupid.
No, it's not the sexiest gun. Guns that are sexier: >10mm UMP >Real Custom 1911 >pre-MiM S&W Revolver >Authentic ww2 m1 carbine

It says: I wonder where he got the money to buy it. Is a quintessentially Polish phrase uttered in conversations about neighbours and their new car/bicycle/shoes/potato bag/whatever.
Dude with the rifle is Polish PM, formerly our Minister of Finance, his forename is Mateusz, but everyone calls his Vateusz (because of his love for VAT tax) or Pinocchio (for obvious reasons).
Poland is the bizarro world, where liberal opposition calls to trump-esque riots, ruling party that sometimes delivers is labelled as liars (hence Pinocchio), and kids of the showman running the most known charity lives in $ 11milion worth hacienda - I mean volunteer's dormitory- and nobody bats an eye...

Poland fricking REKT russia, always. Now russia is getting REKT by fricking ukraine (LMAO). Kyiv, Moskva, Snake Islan, Izyum, Kharkiv, Kherson. Svatove-Kreminna (Luhansk), Melitopol, and then Crimea and Donetsk. All this year.
Ukraine already lost soledar. The moment ukraine falls you poolacks will be annihilated in no time since you have no military equipment and you are nation of nogunz
Looks nice, but I think Serbia's new Zastava is a bit more interesting. I don't think any other military has adopted 6.5 Grendel as their main armament caliber before.
If you don't see an issue with the entire back being a giant hunk of plastic, you might be a consoomer. Where's the fricking bayonet lug? How can it be futuristic if it's not bullpup? It's in grandpa cowboy configuration that makes it difficult to clear rooms with.
This is not bait. It's poorly engineered. The chassis being swappable to a bullpup is neat but there's no reason not to just build the rifle around that to make it more reliable and space efficient. The chassis put into the bullpup body leaves a lot of empty space.
Ah yes, punching yourself in the face to use the charging handle, best bullpup ever. Nevermind that people have spoken on how it's rear-heavy and leads to more muzzle rise than on other bullpups. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a hater, if they come to the US I'll be buying one instantly; but you weird ass Polish simps are so obvious about your blind and arrogant love for this decently-made ACR derivative that it gives me a headache every time one of you makes a thread about it.
>people have spoken on how it's rear-heavy and leads to more muzzle rise than on other bullpups
Not people, gun jesus, and not on it as depicted in the video (new A2 ver being released RIGHT NOW) but the old dusty A1 ver from years ago. Check how much muzzle rise there is in the video. The author himself states its very evenly weighted

I know you can convert the 5.56 bullpup to the 5.56 standard configuration, moron. The receiver is NOT the same between the standard version and the 308 Grot.

You slide the receiver with the picatinny on the default picatinny. Magic. Anyway, the DMR grot is still not out so I would hold my judgement, but to me it seems the same case as with the bull-pup

It doesn't have to be released for it to be clear as day that the receiver used on the 308 version is clearly longer than the one on the 556 version. Stop trying to lie and oversell your wunderwaffe and let it be awesome for what it is.

The MSBS has been multi-caliber from the start, with replaceable barrels and bolt carriers, yet somehow it always worked with the default main bod. I'm just holding my judgment. Keep in mind even A2 is not the final iteration. I think the ejector could be adjustable length ultimately, could be doable. The DMR you see is just a prototype and they go through stages. It's not me being overly enthusiastic, I simply know these guys and I know they want almost full modularity, that's the goal.

I don't care, I'm arguing against someone claiming the 5.56 rifle can be converted to 308 at this very moment, not in some fantastical future its designers envision. Whenever this gun is brought up a thread gets swarmed by ESLtards making bullshit and easily disprovable claims about the gun because it's the one novel thing to come out of their shit ex-soviet country in 30 years. The gun is cool, great, now go back to being discount slavs.

And the SCAR 16 shares 82% parts commonality with the SCAR 17, it still can't be converted to 308. Only the other way around. There are a lot of issues with turning a 5.56 gun into 308 without changing the receiver that you're clearly not understanding.

The pins don't line up. ".308" is .5" longer than 5.56, what happens with that difference in the receivers? I think you're getting 7.62 NATO and 7.62x39 mixed up. The 5.56 MSBS receiver is convertible to x39

The only obvious solution is to make a 5.56 conversion for the 308 version, like they did for the Mk17. But again, would still make his claim total bullshit.

Desert Tech MDR or General Dynamics Genesis.
This doesn't bring anything great to the table unless you're really into the caliber conversion or chassis conversion aspect. I couldn't care less, when I want a new caliber I buy a new gun and have the benefit of two guns that are fitted better than some screwed together kit. The MDR has caliber conversions, no word of the Genesis specifics yet.

No but they're top tier. An accurate bullpup with good trigger and forward ejection, and a (hopefully accurate) bullpup with a game changer cartridge. Both are battle rifles in packages smaller than intermediate rifles. They may be expensive but having the actual best isn't cheap, nor common. The commoners are going to have cheap rifles and that's why those rifles are common.
>hurr duuurr it has a scar boot on it duuur
What about "modular small arms system" do you not understand?
here, have a grot modded with folding AR buffer tube shooting 7.62x39
Ignoring all the moronic Polish shills who don't know the first actual thing about guns and just want to jack off their country's special rifle... the Grot is definitely more than just a bootleg. Considering it's smaller, lighter, and has even more modularity, it's a decent evolution of the same design principals of the ACR.
I like the controls and the bullpup option so I'm not against it, but the whole caliber conversion meme is dumb. How often are you actually going to switch it and why wouldn't you just get 2 rifles if you wanted 2 calibers? This has always been a meme and isn't really a next evolution. This shit better be accurate too or it's trash. I'm not paying the $2k markup price for "it's imported and not an AR" if it isn't near or sub-MOA. Make a sub-MOA semi auto and that's a revolutionary evolution in small arms, not hurr you can change the boolits by switching half the gun instead of just switching the full gun.
Oh I agree, the caliber conversion feature is only really valuable to Europoors that're only allowed to own a certain number of rifles and Militaries for training with cheaper bullets. I still think it's cool, regardless.
It makes sense from an armorer's standpoint of having more parts commonality, but I would prefer everything to be as sturdily attached to the rifle as possible.
Useless then. Doesn't bring enough new features to the table to justify people getting excited enough to replace their ARs and AKs. A few enthusiasts will get it and gloat about it then realize it probably wasn't a good idea to buy a 90% plastic gun that no one else uses.
Will burgers ever get them?
Burgers ordered a batch but then again they order a batch of everything on Earth.
Arms of America got Grot magazines, so they gotta be at least thinking about it, right?
Oh so it doesn’t take any of the stanags I have a dozen of?
It does, they just made their own fancy see-through mag.
I lost my interest when I saw the other post but knowing it takes AR mags I gained it back
If they are sold for under $2000 I might get one
>If they are sold for under $2000 I might get one
