India has had nukes since 1974 and they had their first successful MIRV demo* this spring. The streetshitter MIC is a tragicomedy in most things, but they are dedicating ample resources to ensuring they can glass pakistan and/or china.

what does " 2x lethal than TNT" mean? In english?

You're not just dead, you're twice as dead compared to just TNT dead

      See

      That's not very impressive.
      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TNT_equivalent#Relative_effectiveness_factor
You can get the same performance as pure cyclonite with a 90/10 mix of nitroglycerin and nitrocellulose. Supposedly the nitrocubanes would have even better performance but I haven't heard of anyone actually making them.

      It's RE factor.
      >The relative effectiveness factor (RE factor) relates an explosive's demolition power to that of TNT, in units of the TNT equivalent/kg (TNTe/kg). The RE factor is the relative mass of TNT to which an explosive is equivalent: The greater the RE, the more powerful the explosive.

They mass shart so hard that they create a fuel-air mixture, then a spark from an unsecured street food stall provides the ignition. The shockwave is devastating, and the leftover mixture is so toxic that it goes straight down the Geneva checklist.

They're allowed to buy SEBEX explosive from US MIC. It is a type of plastic explosive. Journalists literally couldn't be more moronic if they tried.

I'm not even going to look up the stats to see if SEBEX is twice as boomy as TNT.

Most powerful "clear" practical explosives is CL-20. And it's only 1.9 RE.
There are other chemicals but they are non practical.
Sebex is stated that is HMX based. It's 99% some thermobaric formulation. That is kinda impressive considering most powerful thermobaric mix was previously US AFX-757 with RE of 1.84.

But Bulgarians developed RDX based thermobaric formulas with RE of 2.1 and 2.3 before. And they already produce RPG-7 grenades loaded with them.

Eh, PBXIH-18/DPX-5 and PBXIH-135EB are better than AFX-757.

This magical SAAAAR compound is likely just HMX, an energetic binder, and some reactive metal, potentially magnesium.

What is it with turdies and bragging about how big conventional bombs they have?
They can be ridiculously impractical yet “the ObMpGr20000 has 20 tons of TNT! Can blow up entire city block hahaha take that!” so in their mind it’s unstoppable. Just look at the YouTube comments on any video about Russian glide bombs, absolutely filled with turdies bragging about the latest 3 ton glide bomb.
The size of explosions follows the inverse cube law. Basically to get a slightly bigger explosion you need a lot more explosive. You can see this in effect when comparing 250kg bombs to 500kg bombs for example, the latter’s explosion isn’t twice the size. Doubling the ammount of explosive won’t double the explosion. It’s why cluster munitions are so effective against lightly armored targets; 100 1kg explosions are exponentially more effective than 1 100kg explosive.
The same applies to glide bombs.
3 1 ton glide bombs will do a whole lot more damage, be able to either hit multiple targets or just one and have longer range than 1 3 ton one but they’re just physically unable to understand this because “bigger number more stronger! More powerfuller!!”

little man/little dick syndrome on a global scale. turdies are the lying homosexual in 5th grade who claims his dad works at nintendo, has a talking flying car with lightsabers and a big tiddy supermodel for a stepmom who demands to breastfeed him constantly.

Primary use of these explosives (expensive, HMX is expensive) is warheads of expensive tactical missiles. AShM, cruise, ballistical missiles. They have limited weight and volume budget for warhead and extra power is always welcome.

Investing in precision munitions doesn't make you a superpower, just a sniper. It's just a tool in a toolbox, or are you going to say that America investing in megaton nukes instead of MIRVs at one point means they aren't a superpower at all?
