The ICBMs are basically carried out by the Russian army.

No, they do operate Gripens which are at least nominally equivalent to an F16s (though I don't know what munitions Brazil has to arm them so maybe in truth they're subpar) but their primary force is made up of F5s

Weird is that australia is bellow brazil

Yes, and more F35s than Brazil has F5s and Gripens combined, not even counting their hornet fleet. Yes Brazil has more airframes but a lot of those are ground attack planes, they'd be toast against a fighter

Australia has a grand total of 72 f35 and nothing else in terms of military. Everything is bought. Brazil at least has their own military industry, again including the fact they are 10 times larger in numbers.

The pajeets' jacking off of raw manpower numbers is exactly why they'll always be a fourth rate power. All those shitty bodies are only good for sucking up valuable oxygen. But not as much oxygen as the bomb that would splatter their toilet bowl battalion across a several mile radius.

You'd think all those years of colonial teabagging would have taught them that "B-but there's more of us!" isn't a valid strategy, now moreso than ever. At least China seems to get it. Maybe.

As current events can safely indicate, numbers alone do not prevail in war. And weirdly enough, I still trust the Ruskies to throw a better land war than Pajeets.
The real question that keeps me awake at night is what would a Russian vs India naval war would look like.

        >THOUSANDS of videos of Russian mil tech getting exploded and now T-62s and BMP-1s being brought out, if anyone still claims Russia is #2 he is obviously coping.
Russian losses approximate to roughly 45,000 APCs.IFVs, artillery pieces, tanks, command, aa, engineering and command vehicles (about 31700) as well as trucks and fuel tankers (about 13300). All of Russias pre invasion in service army personnel (KIA,WIA), artillery and vehicles have been destroyed, including their entire invasion force except about 8% of their remaining APCS, the entire Russian ground forces and 25 ships and boats, 25% of their air force and 34% of their helicopters. Virtually all of Russias foreign currency reserve has been confiscated or spent. In addition the first reserve of Russian tanks has been destroyed in addition to all Russian tanks in service before the invasion, and the same for artillery. All of Russias semi modernized equipment in service pre invasion has been destroyed as well as most of their advanced equipment such as artillery radars as well as the flagship of the black sea fleet. All of Russias pre war stockpile of artillery ammunition has been exhausted as well as their pre invasion stockpile of cruise missiles.

          https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/oct/06/un-peacekeepers-refused-to-help-south-sudan-rebels-raped-aid-workers-report

United Nations peacekeepers stayed in their bases rather than protect civilians during an outbreak of fighting in South Sudan in July, a rights group has said.

Chinese UN peacekeepers in the capital Juba “abandoned their posts entirely” at one civilian protection site where tens of thousands had sought safety.......................
During four days of fighting between the rival forces, artillery rounds and gunfire hit two UN bases, killing two Chinese peacekeepers.

The Chinese troops subsequently abandoned their posts, leaving weapons and ammunition behind, the report said.
          ..............................
Civilians died inside and outside the UN bases and hundreds – possibly thousands – of women were raped, including many within view of UN bases. Aid workers were also targeted.

On the last day of the fighting, about 80 to 100 government soldiers attacked a compound in Juba where they raped and gang-raped at least five international aid workers and physically or sexually assaulted at least a dozen others, the report said.

The Chinese military is a bit like Chinese injection molded plastic items made with now aging German manufacturing equipment. They break under any stress.

Separately, the new report found that Chinese peacekeepers at a UN camp “fled en masse” from their positions in response to heavy fighting nearby, leaving behind some weapons and ammunition.
With those peacekeepers gone, and with nowhere in that part of the UN camp to seek shelter from gunfire, about 5,000 civilians “fled over fences and barbed wire” into the heart of the camp where administrative offices are located, the report says. Overwhelmed peacekeepers then struggled to manage the crowd, and civilian witnesses said some looting occurred.
A response came the next day.
“According to seven independent witness accounts, on the morning of July 12, UNMISS fired tear gas on the civilians with little or no warning,” the report says.
In response to questions from the AP, a spokeswoman for the UN mission, Yasmina Bouziane, said two tear gas shells were used by peacekeepers to assure the safety of UN personnel, and there were no injuries. She also that in response to some direct and indirect heavy fire, some peacekeepers took cover as a self-defense measure.

I hate to be the devil‘s advocate here but it’s hardly surprising they didn’t get involved. Peace keepers are basically glorified virtue signaling on a global scale. China wants to pretend it’s a great humanitarian in Africa hence they sent those guys there. Obviously keeping peace or defending civilians wasn’t ever expected of them. Most likely they would’ve gotten into more trouble if they did their job since Peking is more interested in being on good terms with all sides in Sudan than fulfilling their UN obligations. While it’s funny to laugh at how useless Chinese aid is it’s not really a good way to measure the PLA‘s effectiveness.

Experience becomes outdated very fast. What real war experience US had prior Gulf War? Losing to flip flops wearing Vietnamese halflings?

Its not experience but ability to make and successful apply book knowledge to military conflict. Because when war starts war is different and past knowledge is useless only prediction knowledge can work, who predicts better, who adapts faster wins (if you have time to adapt, war may end faster than adaptation timeframe, so only pre war theories can be used).

    >no real navy outside of WW2/Cold War hand-me-downs
    >a population of 110 million and only 100,000 active duty personnel spread across 4 branches

For a country their size their military is pretty pathetic

      >Hey im from argentina and we didnt modernized anything since falkands war 40 years ago, how are we on the list?

      real list

      >Is this based
      Here are your top Ten

      1. USA
      2. France
      3. UK
(The Top three are placed based on the quality of their nuclear forces and naval and air power)
      4.Germany
      5.Poland
      6.Spain
      7.Italy
      8.South Korea
      9.Japan
      10.Finland
      11 Sweden
      12.Norway
      13.Greece
      14. Israel
      15 Canada
      16 Australia
      17 Romaia
      18 Hungary
      19 Bulgaria
      20 Switzerland
      21 Czech
      22 Croatia
      23 Portugal
      24 Serbia
      25 Netherlands
      26 Denmark
      27 Belgium
      28 Austria
      29 Slovak
      30 Estonia
      31 Lithuania
      32 Latvia
      33. New Zealand
      34 Ireland
      35 Bosnia
      36 Macedonia
      37 Albania

After that we cannot really know due to levels of corruption and incompetence but it is likely that
      Turkey
      Israel
      Chile
      Brazil
      Mexico
      Argentina
      Morocco
      Algeria
      Tunisia
      Indonesia
      Malysia
      Philipines
      Vietnam
May have some definite military capability some of it maybe even on a European level (like Turkey). Some may be basically as dangerous to themselves as anyone else, such as china, India, Iran, Pakistan Burma, south Africa, Nigeria, etc Some ARE in the process of hurting themselves see Somalia, Eritrea, Sudan, Congo/CAR, Zimbabwe etc etc Some are...is this really a nation such as Bangladesh, Nepal etc

Its ridiculous to list nations that do not have military alliances with the USA in the top ten or that anything BUT natio or EU nations or such nations be placed in the top 30.

The answer is OPs list was made by a brown man in Bangladesh a 'nation' with extreme poverty living on less than $1.90 a day that lives on international charity and then goes and spends its money on a vanity military staffed by malnourished simpletons. He thought Argentinians were brown like him and therefore mighty. I appreciate you are far superior as a nation to Bangladeshis, I'm just explaining the mindset. These are the kind of people who think India is more powerful than the nations it buys weapons from.

The latest 2024 GFP has South Korea at 5, ahead of the UK at 6, Japan is at 7 and Turkey moves up to 8

But these figures belies the fact that the ROK military competencies and readiness places it as the only military on par with the US, perhaps even ahead on certain aspects, all of the other "first world" militaries are racked with systemic incompetence no better than most thirdies

    Not quite.
    >Total military personnel according to GFP
    >S.Korea: 3.82 million
    >Japan: 0.32 million
Also technically Japan doesn't even have an official military.

      >US: 2.12 million
      >Russia: 3.57 million
      >China: 3.1 million
      >India: 5.13 million
      >UK: 1.1 million
      >S.Korea: 3.82 million
      >Pakistan: 1.7 million
      >Japan: 0.32 million
      >France: 0.37 million
      >Italy: 0.28 million

Seems Japan, France, and Italy are doing fine for their military population sizes.

I would suspect Korea of spamming a bunch of turtle ships to bolster their military ranking. The opportunity to staying at crossbows and hwachas and boom straight to research labs is just too much of a temptation for them

      > thousands of the best mbts

      > thousands of the best ifvs
      > the best destroyers bar none
      > the best conventional subs bar none
      > more f35s than any country other than the us in addition to a shitload of f15s and f16s
      > more spec ops elite soldiers than all of nato combined excluding the us
      > hundreds of millions of 155mm shells in inventory
      > more conventional missiles than all of nato combined excluding the us
      > a military industrial complex aggressively backed by all parties of the government + industrial infrastructure geared towards land, sea and air weapons + more r&d than any country in the world except the us
      > stated ability to assemble 4,000+ nukes in a few months for around $1 billion

      In reality its:
      tier 1 US

      power gap

      tier 2 South Korea

      tier 3 China, Russia

      power gap

tier 4 UK, France, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Japan, Poland, Australia, Canada

ROK could likely solo tier 4 combined without any outside intervention
