That's current MoD policy, you think the Ukrainians are being given weapons without strings? There's a reason twitter photos and videos are out primary source on content from Brimstone, Starstreak, Martlet and other UK supplied weapons. As far as i know we've not even seen the UK supplied M270/GMLRS posted (there are visual differences to the US version, most notably the armoured slats on the windows)

Probably the biggest disappointment with starstreak is that it hasn’t scored any fast jet kills. I understand that it’s saclos so the likelihood of the right operator being in control at the right time is slim but I was hoping for atleast one. When the stinger bagged that su-35 I was taken aback. When I saw the interviews with the guys who shot down missiles with their stingers i jumped on the bandwagon

Starstreak had two dozen kills in a single month, we don't even have evidence of 12 stinger kills in total.

Starstreak is clearly the better missile, longer range, huge NEZ, impossible to spoof, shorter engagement time, more lethal effect on target. OP is butthurt for some reason.

Why only 5 kills against missiles? they are basically target drone tier targets? makes sense that they'd dedicate a low end system like stinger to that job. Frees up the more capable systems like starstreak and gepard for the front.

They are important, they aren't hard targets to shoot down though. Sub sonic, straight line, no decoys or defences, no ability to react and probably flying in a chain. Not exact a pop up attack helicopter or fast jet with armour.

You have been asked to source this claim before but you never can. The UK sending more =/= ukranians asking for them. Let’s let the free market decide. How many orders did the UK receive for starstreak since the start of Ukraine? Piorun got orders. Stinger got 2 different orders and the fins are willing to pay over $1million a missile to secure a batch of stingers before the US decides to produce its stinger replacement.

If it had demand the UK would either start producing then again or allow someone else to produce them on license. The fact that production is ended completely and a huge majority of its stocks being sent to Ukraine signals the UK is moving on from it

No. What I’m saying is the on paper stats of the starstreak just haven’t translated into real life. The stinger is cheaper, lighter, fire and forget and at the end of the day you’re still killing planes with it. I understand your pride in the system and that’s great but to say that it’s better than the stinger without being able to back it up is stupid

The Ukrainians say otherwise, two dozen aircaft in a month. Since then they've had more than 1000 extra missiles delivered.

I think you just can't hande that stinger is the best the US has and the UK system makes it look shit. Like you cant even engage supersonic, receding targets with stinger.
