got my friend one of these as a wedding present back in the day. He's a lefty like bruce willis and saw it in that one die hard film and inception and liked it. Solid gun, carried the compact for about a year myself
it looks like shit
the 92fs looks cool
the 92fs is good
the 92fs inox is even better
therefore i shoot it more and and better with it than your UGLY FUCKING KEK GUN nagger fuck you man GET A PAIR OF FUNCTIONAL EYES FUCK YOU I HATE YOUR UGLY STUPID nagger homosexual
I have a cougar which is an all metal storm. Love it. I wanted a storm in 40 and the trigger was garbage. I went with a p229 instead. Did I finger a bad gun?
dey arr rook same, poly frame, striker, aggressive slide cuts, the rest are just semantics, like extra grips, grip angle, sights and threaded barrel options
the market is oversaturated, yet everyone is racing to min-max and be the next best thing that "TICKS ALL THE BOXES", and if it doesnt, they will sell you 3 barrel and 3 grip lengths with about 15 model numbers inbetween them
FUCK YOUR PLASTIC SHIT BRING BACK THE COUGAR NOT THAT homosexual .380 BOX GUN.
I WANNA SNIFF AYAS ASSHOLE CLEAN AFTER A LONG DAY OF HER CARRYING THE 80+ MAGAZINES SHE FINDOMMED FROM THAT ONE COP PAY PIG IN FRONT OF THE THEATRE.
I think you can do well with irons for self defense, but optics do have advantages. I prefer to shoot with optics especially if it's just target practice. Not even having a clowny riser plate like on the 92x sucks.
Night sights suck too, I have like 4 pistols with them
Lining up some night sights is way harder than just putting a dot on the target >why shoot pistol with nv
Why wouldn't you?
It's fun and you don't always wanna carry a rifle with you

not true for me. I bring that gun up and sights are locked in. I guess some people are different

Putting a dot on a target is just easier, less shit you gotta focus on
You could literally train to shoot with no sights at all if you trained enough, but for what reason unless you're too poor to afford a decent optic and cut for it
The slide cut was 150 and the rmr is 500, it's absolutely worth it, makes the gun much more useful and usable in more scenarios
I can annihilate the 100yd gong with it all day long now when before you'd have to hold over and the sights would block it

nah, I find it about the same, I gotta find the dot on my glock. With 3 dot sights and night sights especially, depending on the gun at least, my 1911s, sigs, my usps and my steyr. As soon as I draw, the sights are on what I want to hit.

No, forming mandrel.
There's 2 main types of flat on the market right now, both have problems that the forming mandrel fixes, I could explain but it's a waste of my time because you're obviously hurt by me and don't care what I have to say
I already designed my own 3d printed bending mandrel years ago, this is more than that

I saw this before and didn't make the connection. That's dedication. I've read that the main issue is getting the flat to fold evenly so the magwell lines up, does your system fix that?
I own two PX-4s just for collecting and I only took the first one I bought to the range once because it didn't feel any more enjoyable than any other tilting-barrel 9mm to shoot. I kind of expected maybe softer recoil due to the action being delayed by the rotation of the bullet, not like a delayed blowback 9mm, which is crazy soft recoiling, but at least noticeably better. Why do people go nuts over the PX-4? I'm certainly not a detractor, but I didn't think it was really great compared to any other similarly-sized 9mm. Is it the appearance? Because Beretta makes a beautiful handgun, no argument there.

>I've read that the main issue is getting the flat to fold evenly so the magwell lines up, does your system fix that?
it makes them line up prefect no matter how un-evenly it bent, it's extremely satisfying
i'm gonna try making a smaller version that's only 1 inch wide instead of the full width of the receiver so it doesn't take so much pressure to fully form the rails of the receiver when using the flats robertrtg sells, those flats do not have fully formed rails like the PTR/hkparts flats do
they are also made of a much softer metal that bends easier and more evenly but the mag well is not fully formed and the rails are not fully formed
i'm still working on a method to fully form the mag well
here's a side by side image of the magwell, on the left is the PTR flat, the radius is tight which allows the mag to fully engage into the trunnion and properly lock into the shelf on it for more reliable feeding
the one on the robertrtg flat has a much larger radius, this works ok for cetme mags which also have a large radius, but if you use g3 mags there's a couple mm gap between the trunnion and mag, so it never locks fully into place which means you will get less reliable feeding

It's going pretty well, got 6 shots off in a row today after lightening up the bolt
I ground the trunnion down to let the mag sit closer to the barrel to help feed more reliably
In the ptr version they do not modify the trunnion and there is a short period when the bullet is entirely out of control and literally flying through the air inside the receiver, this is part of why the ptr32 has failure to feed issues so often
I also welded up the trunnion and added lots of metal with a tig welder to form a feed ramp which makes feeding even more reliable
Also cut the mag well away to allow it to use RPK drum mags

Most people will go to a flat range, print some tight groups they couldn't print before, and claim how amazing red dots are. But watch them draw and find the dot. Watch them fish for it if the position they have to draw or shoot from is remotely different than their flat range position.

Yeah that's true. I like the tritium fiber optic ones I have on my G19. They're the only sights I can see pretty much all the time. The only alternative is to have a WML and using it, or a red dot. I strongly prefer optics.
I just bought a p30 and I feel the same way. Maybe the best full sized handgun I ever fired (not that I'm a seasoned pro, but I've shot a dozen or so different models), and even then poly 9s are all kind of the same, the stretch between the best I fired (p30) an the worst (Ruger 'american'? I think?). What makes this 9 so distinct from the others?
Fits the hand much better than a Glock. You point it and bam, it's on target. Easier to conceal since it does not have that grip shape of the Glock It appears good things come out of companies with centuries of experience in the craft rather than trusting an Austrian curtain merchant.
