Can't till ya say how much you bought it for or the condition it's in, I don't give a shit about the extra mags till you give that info.
A Beretta 92's a good pistol, so you didn't fuck up there, at least.
you can get them new for less than that online but that doesn't include the magazines and extra fees about that online.
Italian made 92FS do command a premium to some people so it's not that outlandish. Specifically Italian 92FS made before they put lawyer text all over the frame and slide are very valuable to some people.
Okay, honestly not bad for used with 6 mags, not great but not bad either.
What about the condition it's in? Is there any pitting or worn rifling in the barrel or any rust or pitting anywhere? Does it look like he took care of it? If none of that's present then you did pretty alright anon. Grats on the first gun and here's to many more, hopefully handled responsibly.

Yeah I thought so, the thing looked brand new and was being offered for 50$ less than what the store was selling new (This is in California by the way)
It has scuffing on the inside of the magazine holder so im assuming the previous owner has fired it a lot
but otherwise looks fine. couldn't distinguish it between the new one
I bought a 92fs for $800 used in California during peak coof, and that was a deal. Boomers were asking up to $900. Sold it a couple years later for a bit less but it was my first pistol so I didn't know any better. Enjoy it though, I loved mine. Put something like 3k rounds through it and I could shoot it so accurately.
>first pistol off-roster pistol

pretty good with six mags, assuming its in good condition
My first gun was a Beretta 92S, welcome to being hasguns
if you have little bitch fingers and cannot into the DA trigger pull, considering getting wilson combat springs and sticking them in there instead-- that or you could go for a decocker conversion kit-- a buddy of mine did both on his, and he said they are easy to do if you look it up on youtube
You didn’t. Beretta 92fs, CZ75, SIG P226, S&W 59 Series, these are rhe best classic metal framed wonder 9s of the precious generation. Enjoy and be happy anon.
6 mags and a laser grip for 650 isn't bad at all. You can get these for 500-600 on EuroOptic but the mags and grip even it out. Not a total loss.
If you choose to get another wonder9, I've seen cz75 B and BD s for like 500 nowadays. Even as low as 480
You didn't mess up. The M9 is a fine handgun and 6 extra mags is perfectly acceptable for the 650 you paid. Chin up, Anon. Go train with your new firearm and learn as much as you can about it.
how much?

dude the new M9s don't have that text what're you on about.
92FS do, M9s never had it since they are exactly what would be "military" issue.
I bought a brand new inox 92FS slide a year ago that had this awful text on it
A special place in Hell for lawyers isn't good enough for ruining the looks the way they have.
>read manual before use
>prints the manual on the slide anyway

If you didn't NEED a gun, you should've waited for black friday. Some LGSs have sales on firearms, usually fudd .22s, but sometimes handguns.

Not bad at all anon, bought mine nearly a decade ago for about 520 with some very light use
For an Italian-made one that's not a bad deal, and six mags is a good starting load out.
The important thing is that you maintain it and practice with it
how much did you pay for it
there is nothing wrong with the 92fs, the only thing wrong you did was buy something and then ask validation for what you bought after you bought it.
there's a dedicated group on /k/ shilling the 92 for good reason

Straight dustcover? Must be pretty old. Thank god though. I hate my slanted dustcover. I can never stop looking at it.

can't possibly be a guy too excited about his first purchase to wait for shipping.
