Japanese Guns

if guns were legal in Japan and they didn't have export bans what kind of shit would they make for the consumer market? Aside from the NFA and Norinco ban I feel as if this is the 3rd biggest injustice wrt civilian arms

They already made gun parts for Japan in WWII. Some bayonets were made by National Denki, also known as National Electric or Matsushita. Matsushita is known as Panasonic outside of Japan.

Also this one is labeled as Toyoda Jidoshoki Seisakusho (Toyoda Automatic Loom Works) on a markings site which is none other than Toyota.

personally I think as a whole it would be something akin to Uberti/Llama/Star and B&T/H&K mixed together. They'd also be the only nation to actually viably produce the autistic replicas of WW2 guns people here say they want because people there would actually buy them

They make and export guns, I think Miroku is the best known Japanese gun manufacturer.

I think he means more "normal" guns. Like semi auto rifles, maybe especially semi auto versions of their military rifles. Also as is they don't make as many guns in comparison to other countries that export to the US AFAIK.

Have your never heard of howa, SKB or miroku?
Japanese guns are very much available in America, they're just rather sedate fudd guns.
Really, really nice especially for the price though.

of course I have but in an alternate universe they're making 1:1 replicas of ww2/early cold war weaponry and have their own proprietary ccw cartridges/systems with hello kitty engravings

We were robbed. With how autistic they are about airsoft it's a shame they can't have the real thing

They'd probably make smart guns that actually work. I could also see pistols with red dots built into the slide.

I'm sure they would make some kind of a reputable bolt action rifle like a Howa or something.

If they did that the police would have to stop using revolvers so it's a bad universe.
