I've been trying to ID the location of this album cover for ten years now. I'm no closer to figuring it out. Ideally I'd like an exact coordinate but at the very least I just want to figure out via climate cues where this might be

Rocky coast with a dark sand beach has to be the PNW.
that's what i was thinking too. reminds me of the cannon beach/seaside/manzanita area. I can rule out manzanita and cannon beach obviously but it could be something further south like tillamook or further.
