there's been pictures of them floating around in ukraine. I imagine a 203 is better in most circumstances

I think the US dumped so many 203s on them they have better use for the 203 and a better chance of being used in an event that received publicity.

We've seen multiple videos of them in combat. Well, I have. Watch some more combat video idk.

    Yes we have.

You know it's an M32A1 and not a Y2 or clone because it has the VLTOR EMOD stock, the M2A1 sight, and the 8" barrel. The Milkor wiki page lists Ukraine as an end user, with a link to a Facebook video that shows it in detail.

after witnessing this war i believe every man should buy 37mm grenade launchers or build recoilless rifles like those IRA prigs

That 37mm ain't gonna shoot anything useful.
      >B...but I'm going to bore it out to 40mm in case of TEOTWAWKI
Without rifling, your grenade isn't going to spin, and therefore isn't going to arm. Also accuracy will be dogshit.

trust me you wont need rifling after you jerry rig your 37mm into a ghetto sturmpistole

also think of those massive honker 37mm buckshot shells you could breach a door and clear the room with one round

I stand corrected. Please load those rounds and shoot them. Make sure to share the results

You can easily modify regular 40mm to detonate on impact without a requirement to spin

32s are rough because they're heavy (15 lb) there's no good way to carry them on your kit, and they take a fat second to reload, so it's better to just give an extra 203/320 to each fireteam than have to deal with a 32

If you have a grenadier billet on your team, they're definitely nicer for most to shoot than an underbarrel grenade launcher. But only if you can spare a guy for one weapon platform that isn't useful in most cicumstances. Most teams would opt for a machine gunner or an anti armor rocket launcher I would think.

Their best use is for lobbing a frick load of tear gas rounds at protestors. Otherwise a 203 makes more sense.

          >M32A1 recoil is bad
Lol they’re fricking lying. If there’s one silver lining to this gun’s form factor and weight, it’s that the recoil is very mild.

I didn't mean that particular model. Never seen the M32 where I served, to be honest. I was talking about a bunch of various hand-held 40mm launchers we had donated.

I've seen a bunch of them. Dudes who used them said they kick like ass and can even injure you, so despite possible benefits on the squad level no one really wants to shoot it regularly and prefer to take AT4s with them

Theres been videos of them in use. Idk how many they got, or how effective they really are. I've used them before, and to me they seem like the perfect IDF support for trench assaulting.
