How do I not be a weird moron? I had no father figure and it shows. The most minuscule interactions are difficult for me. I simply dont know what to do or do something wrong without knowing it. The best I can do is try to personify anime characters and talk like they do
I was about to but dumped her after incessant b***hing. I gave up my time to spend with her, building her house, spending time with her family, planning events to go with her. She never once said "let's go hang out with your family". Yeah, she converted to my church and went with me on Sunday but that's it. She kept crying about how she didn't feel like I loved her or put her ahead of my family. She flat out told me my effort wasn't good enough so I split.
I'm not really good at being social or anything like that. I'll never be the most handsome, smartest, or wealthiest guy in the room. But I just want a pretty little sweetheart to snuggle under blankets and watch TV with after we bake cookies together.
I found picrel for another thread and it had me thinking of a sbr ar-10 with a 13-14 inch barrel and a conical blast deflector around a muzzle brake since apparently they still work with em the idea is the muzzle blast of .308 coming out of a short barrel gives a concussion effect towards whoever you're shooting at though if someone's invading your home they probably the sort to shoot the same concussed not
I first had the idea when reading about aussies using cut down SLRs in full auto to suppress ambushes in vietnam
only downside is having to deal with .308 in such a small package and ar-10s being so damn expensive I want a 16" one but not for twice the price of basically the same thing in .223. Also considering trying similar with a handgun in 7.62 tokarev or 22 tcm whichever I can find I want both seems quite a benefit to have a handgun that can penetrate level iiia body armor and at least the latter has significant muzzle blast I'd have to get it done custom though and might not be carry viable though the tcm is pretty wide anyways so dunno if my hands would like it
Another idea is to use a bayonet when hog hunting in case they charge I got a mk IV* lee enfield so looking for some british jungle dress to go with it for cheap only issue there is I already have trouble hitting shit need to find some ammo that isn't 30+ years old commercial shit
I've been getting better socially but have trouble actually going out and meeting people even friends. Maybe I just have to ask for people's numbers more and keep up with texting first regularly but that's pretty tiring amount of effort to get to know people nowadays and there's no irl group stuff that interests me. I been learning japanese for a few months now (still on the alphabets) and honestly the main reason is so I can pull what my dad did and get some asian village girl I realize that's especially not realistic nowadays but they just age so well and I want to plan for the future.
>ITT: ideas you've had
a long stroke semi-auto shotgun - like a tavor ts12, but not a bullpup
it would be a very low recoiling, very long, very heavy, very cool shotgun
Glock mags are overrated and nowadays not that much cheaper than high quality mecgar made steel mags. They are also much thicker than a lot of steel mags.
Handgun and SMG/PDW chambered in 7/8mm polymer cartridge necked down to a 5mm HP/AP round similar to the dagny dagger. Some kind of copper polymer cermet jacket around a nickel core. Light recoil, extremely high, rifle-like velocity, light and compact rounds.
This is one of my ideas I came up with. Basically it turns your front sights into a pressure switch mount for a light. So essentially combining a front iron sight with a light.
With new LED technology, why does the light source have to be the shape of a conventional flashlight? Can't we get LED strips to lay flat and beam forward? I swear there is some real low profile lighting technology now.
I think this is an interesting idea and a potentially decent solution. I think it probably has most use on a carbine length gun or shorter, since that's where real estate is at a premium. It also would put the button within better reach anyways (if you weren't doing something like adding a switch attached elsewhere, which you could still do with the rear attachment on the light).
Additionally idea, but you might be able to make the bracket reversible (so the light can be on the opposite side) if you machined the geometry just right.
Yea I made this drawing in 2019 I probably won't every do anything with this idea. But it is something I would use on my carbines. I have thought about having an option to mount the light on the right side but it would complicate things. Either that or sell ones that are flipped.
If you ever get ahold of a lathe (or maybe a Ghost Gunner or something) it could be a fun idea to try out making this yourself.
I think the way to make the bracket swappable is to have the sight actually be several pieces. The bottom part that would have the picatinny clamp would also be the light bracket. The top part would be the button housing and the sight. You would screw the top to the bottom, and if you wanted to reverse the side, unscrew it and reverse the bottom and then screw it back together.
I think this works out because you'd need a way to get the button in the frame during assembly anyways.
I might just send the image to a company I like and see if they are interested in having the idea or making it. I used to want to be a product designer for the firearm industry but I don't think its practical for me. I don't have many good ideas anymore now that I don't smoke weed.
"I probably won't every do anything with this idea."
Listen, homosexual. Go start making these, and get rich.
Gun people will buy anything that bolts to their rails.
Do you really hate the idea of being rich? If so why?
Someone has to be rich, why not you?
Make a few of these.
Sell them at your local fun show.
Use the profits to apply for a patent.
By this time next year, you should be a millionaire.
When your patent is about to expire, flip the flashlight battery compartment, so you can use it as a forward grip.
Patent the improvements (Gen 2).
Profit some more.
Since I made this image in 2019 I decided it makes most sense to have the sight solid but hinge down to block access to the pressure switch for nighttime use. Also the idea was to have two buttons instead of one where the pressure switch is and have a cable coming out of the front of the sight/mount that can hook into a pec or something like that. So you can activate your light and pec from it.
You know you anons are making me think maybe I actually should have pursued my dreams of being a product designer for the gun industry.
I still have moral qualms with designing things that may end up being used by ZOG
>I still have moral qualms with designing things that may end up being used by ZOG
eh you probably wouldnt have gotten anywhere with it if youre just another /misc/ looney
Imagine thinking only people on /misc/ have a problem with police violating peoples rights and never facing consequences due to qualified immunity or having a problem with the US military killing a million civilians in Iraq over a fricking lie.
Order followers are the most evil people in our modern society.
I actually had this idea well before Cloud OWLs came on the market. tbh I was pretty upset when I saw those come out. Like homie you thought of the same shit as me just missing some things.
IDK I don't really care now tho. I care more about breeding reptiles

Ruger SRH Toklat in .44 Mag

P320 grip frames that take Glock mags
I had an idea of getting a Beretta PX4 Storm, just because I was so impressed how this young lady runs one. A sub second draw. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIiB5ccxHvU&t=316s
Falling in love and getting married...just an idea though
Yeah
yeah
Just did that, its worth it fellas.
All you have to do is make yourself look presentable and don't be a fricking weird moron and soon enough the right one comes along.
Odds are it will suck eventually. More than 50% do. Mine got really shitty after about 17 years. Hope you have better luck.
How do I not be a weird moron? I had no father figure and it shows. The most minuscule interactions are difficult for me. I simply dont know what to do or do something wrong without knowing it. The best I can do is try to personify anime characters and talk like they do
i just shunt the feeling of awkwardness and keep a straight face during moments of silence. seems to work. finnish people have the right idea on this
If I do that I'll be standing around silently with a straight face the whole time. A woman isnt going to be into that
I was about to but dumped her after incessant b***hing. I gave up my time to spend with her, building her house, spending time with her family, planning events to go with her. >just don't be you and then you can live a lie with someone else for the rest of your life
Nah, I'm good over here. But you do you.
I remember being 16.
So do I. 33.6k dialup and AOL was the #1 ISP in the US.

so a saiga-12 or other Ak shotgun. nevabeendunbefo
Glock mags are overrated and nowadays not that much cheaper than high quality mecgar made steel mags. They are also much thicker than a lot of steel mags.
>a pistol in 50AE that isnt a Unobtainium Desert Eagle.
50 AE AR that uses a bolt face that is the same as the Desert Eagle

40gr 30 super carry screw drivers when?
Asking H&K really nicely for an HK91 in 8mm Mauser.
the only idea i have ever had is stealing the rotating bolt and piston design from an ak and putting it into literally every gun ever.
rotating delayed blowback, where the bolt carrier is the slide.
You really shouldn't post pictures like that
This is one of my ideas I came up with.
Modern flashlights use LED tech. You still need an area for a battery and the reflectors in front to aim the light forward.
I think this is an interesting idea and a potentially decent solution. I think it probably has most use on a carbine length gun or shorter, since that's where real estate is at a premium. Getting a patent is at least 11k
Not really practical. Most gun parts aren't even patented. People just get provisional patent applications
I would probably buy this. Ditch the interchaneable sight hoods to make it cheaper though.
Since I made this image in 2019 I decided it makes most sense to have the sight solid but hinge down to block access to the pressure switch for nighttime use. It's basically a mash up of the Unity Fusion system with a Cloud Defensive OWL, so there's nothing inherently wrong with the concept.
I actually had this idea well before Cloud OWLs came on the market. tbh I was pretty upset when I saw those come out. Like homie you thought of the same shit as me just missing some things.
IDK I don't really care now tho. I care more about breeding reptiles
reptiles are neat
what is that, some sort of skink?
Kimberly rock monitor. The babies sell for 900 to 1k each. They can lay a clutch up to 20 each year.
So 20k a year from a pair.
>I could be making a decent living NEETing it up and mailing baby lizards to people

Rimless 12ga doesn't exist for a reason. It has no shoulder.
Not necessarily literally rimless 12ga, but something like 12ga with no rim so it would feed politely from box magazines
a rail system made entirely of bayonet lugs
I had an idea of getting a Beretta PX4 Storm, just because I was so impressed how this young lady runs one. A sub second draw. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIiB5ccxHvU&t=316s
They're great guns and there's a $75 ($150 if you get it from LTT, but they only sell compact 9mms) rebate if you get one now
I still want a 12ga break-action revolver shotgun
