It's an excellent strategy. Once Ukraine runs out of trees, they will soon run out of oxygen and be forced to surrender.

      This.

Master strategist Putin is forcing the Ukraine reich to lose its critical woodpanel reserves, making it harder for hohols to repair their damaged buildings.

This will mean food cannot of get transported and great famine will come in no more than two weeks. It would be of better to surrender Ukraine and enjoy Tasty Period tm. Smegma mucho arigato.

Obviously, since Hitler served in WWI and got promoted to lance corporal - only at the bigger scale he dropped the ball hard kinda similar to Goring who was a veritable ace in WWI and drugged fatass in WWII
            Putin hasn't got anything comparable

What's the point of keeping something like that a secret? "Oh hey, just so you know you've been hitting decoys and wasting your missiles, how about you try shooting some more?" Either it makes they more hesitant to fire off more at what might actually be real targets or they keep it up and just waste what they have.

Would there be tho? The HIMARS are deployed tens of miles behind the lines, so no Russian is going to be able to take photos of them, their position would classified as frick at all times so no independent journo could get anywhere near them without losing their camera, and the yukes don't talk about their losses.

For all we know they could have all been destroyed, there's still be no evidence.

So it's been an entire waste of their time and resources to even try because even if they did get a hit they'd just be quietly replaced meanwhile they're still thrashing about tossing missiles at anything that looks like the real target? Literally shooting at ghosts and whispers at that point.

This is good double bluff. There are no wooden HIMARS but now when Russia gets intel on a HIMARS location they will delay the attack decision long enough for it to move to its next hiding spot.

      Or…
They do have wooden Himars and they mix them in to frick with them even more.
Russia may have figured out recently that decoys existed and then Ukraine leaked the story to make fun of them.
      That’s the simplest explanation.
