I've seen it for 5cpr with shipping in bulk in the last month or two, and as says it's still way less right now.
Your problem besides being a retard is picking relatively fancy gucci 22lr, you can spend even more on lead free copper mono high velocity if you want. Of course "gucci" 22lr is still like, half the price of cheapshit 9mm.
For the record I bought 5k rounds of that bolt action only aguila 22 at 5 cpr… and it’s fucking dogshit… average at least 1 out of 6 duds… both in revolvers and 2 different striker fired pistols….
Did you miss the past 3 years anon? Let me give you a refresher. >ammo manufacturers were hit with so much demand in 2020/2021 that they're still working through backorders to this day (IIRC it was mid 2021 when most major US manufacturers stopped receiving more orders than they were shipping) >9mm is currently the only major caliber where supply is back to normal >1 in 5 gun owners got into guns since 2020, never knew about cheaper ammo, and will happily pay current prices >major ammo manufacturers are planning future production capacity with a higher percent utilization under normal demand to avoid a repeat of the Trump era slump where they had to sell large volumes to make money effectively >the last of the Russian steel cased ammo has the next 4 months to get imported (assuming they're even exporting it anymore) after which there will be no more, and despite companies working to bring in steel cased ammo from other countries Russian ammo still makes up about 90% of the steel cased ammo still on the market >we're about a year from another round of election panic buying
Today's ammo prices are here to stay for the foreseeable future.
>>the last of the Russian steel cased ammo has the next 4 months to get imported (assuming they're even exporting it anymore) after which there will be no more, and despite companies working to bring in steel cased ammo from other countries Russian ammo still makes up about 90% of the steel cased ammo still on the market >.223 and 7.62x39mm are starting at 40cpr currently with Russian steel case ammo still on the market
What are we going to be looking at as the new normal once there's no more cheap steel case ammo competing at a lower price point? 45cpr? 50cpr?
>lead free .177 >cheap >quiet
Not as cheap as lead and not as quiet as lead, especially in a break barrel. They always try to push lead free to 1kfps in them and the mfgs of lead free don't make their pellets normal weights because of the lower density (and they're retarded so they don't account for it).

Is that bad? I bought one of those 555 boxes recently, ran through about half of it, and about 10 rounds didn't work. For cheap .22 ammo, I thought that was within acceptable parameters.
Who the fuck said I was bragging?
And for 5 dollars more I can buy a 500rd brick from Armscor and not have to set foot in a HellMart.
I think I see where the better value lies.
I wish. Every Walmart I've been to in the Phoenix az area is stripped clean of all of the .223, 22lr, etc. Meth heads are still camping out to scoop it up and flip the ammo.
Are SSS discontinued forever?
Those are far and away the most reliable subsonics I have found. Good effect on squiggers. Yeah, the twist rate stuff, but not an issue in my old rolling block, or at pistol ranges.
CCI Suppressor Subsonic HPs are good, but they expensiven and I doubt they expand much at all
Have at 'em.
https://ammoseek.com/ammo/22lr/-rimfire-60grains
I would buy a bunch, but turns out that you're not supposed to use them with suppressors. More for the rest of you guys
Luckily I didn't try shooting any through a suppressor. I actually read the suppressor manual like a nerd, and they specifically called out this ammo and said not to use it.
mini mags have always been more expensive. sale price before the last panic was around 7-8 bucks a sleeve (rebate sales usually made it so they ended up being like 5), and you can find them for sale around 9-10 a sleeve today still
5-7 cpr for shitty bulk ammo is the new norm though, up from like 3.5-4 before the scare.
Don't compare to pre 2012 prices. That shit is long gone.
Mini mags are more reliable overall, but any decently made modern gun can function with any shit ammo, as long as you're willing to do a bit more cleaning if the bullets aren't plated. I have some older guns that hate bulk ammo like blazer or thumberbolt.
I also have a surplus trainer that actually blows out every cheap thin walled bulk ammo base, but works fine with thicker walls found in target ammo (SK, Eley). It's a defective part with no available spare parts available unfortunately, so if I want to shoot it, I have to shoot the gucci ammo.
>any decently made modern gun can function with any shit ammo,
bro the point isnt about whether a gun will function, they'll all function
It's that mini mags and standards are the most accurate non-match (eley, lapua) 22lr ammo. And they used to only cost marginally more than bulkshit. But increased prices means its not really worth anymore
The age of cheap anything is over.
I remember when you'd get mocked for posting boomer facebook memes here
he's an american hating chinkoid insect, ignore him.
>Hates current president
>Must mean he hates America
>Code yellow
>I'm gonna need an agent to fluoridate this poster's water immediately
I remember when simpng Dems on here would get you called out for being dirty garden gnomes
Sorry on nuPrepHole we love politicians who threaten to bomb gun owners with F-15s because Ukraine is the only thing that matters.
you are the one mocking him for posting boomer facebook memes here, retard
you are the one calling him a dirty garden gnome for simping dems here, retard
nice try john texas from hangzhou region.
best president, best demographics, and the trans spirirt is the spirit of the usa. jealous chinkoids.
>fed ukraine posters calling dissent with least popular president an act from chink shills
And then the alphabet moron jannies delete all of the icky problematic posts
I can't tell if fedpost or shitpost
Yo its bladee
10 seconds on ammoseek and they have free shipping
Breve is out of Utah as well so they don’t have a sales tax…. And you get a sticker of an avocado dressed up like Rambo… it’s a solid win.
Beebe*. Goddamn autocarrot
>you get a sticker of an avocado dressed up like Rambo… it’s a solid win.
I kind of want to buy just to get that.
Was about to do the same.
What website are you shopping on, OP?
Is it owned by small hat enthusiasts?

I bought 5000 rounds of lead free 22 for 6cpr. It’s out there
For the record I bought 5k rounds of that bolt action only aguila 22 at 5 cpr… and it’s fucking dogshit… average at least 1 out of 6 duds… both in revolvers and 2 different striker fired pistols….
>free shipping
Nope
Beware these mfs take weeks to ship and they have no contact info last I checked
i paid like $50 for a 500 round aguila box.
Same. Aguila is good ammo too. Based MexiChads keeping ammo costs down

I’m buying lead free .177 pellets for quiet cheap plinking now. Airguns are fun as fuck
>lead free .177
>cheap
>quiet

I have a pneumatic, 3-10 pumps is recommended so I can keep it subsonic.
(by pumping it less)
Ah, yeah, that works. Just assumed break barrel because many go for "muh FPS".
>Has the age of cheap .22lr sunset?
Yes. Fifteen years ago.
lol
>Oops All Winchesters!
Is that bad? I bought one of those 555 boxes recently, ran through about half of it, and about 10 rounds didn't work. For cheap .22 ammo, I thought that was within acceptable parameters.
You allowed it. He's still sitting up there making decisions fucking up literally everything in the country and across the world.
>Same as the guy before, and the guy before, and the guy before, and the guy before, and the guy before, etc.
It's all so tiresome...
I just bought Armscor 22lr 50rd boxes for $4 a box.
No it's not over
>bragging about buying armscore at $0.08/rd
Anon walmart sells federal 22 ammo for $19/box of 325
Who the fuck said I was bragging?
And for 5 dollars more I can buy a 500rd brick from Armscor and not have to set foot in a HellMart.
I think I see where the better value lies.

sgammo.com and aimsurplus had some decent .22lr deals recently
i got a 5000 round box of mini mags for like 360 something delivered a few weeks back on some random website
https://centerfiresystems.com/product/cci-0030-mini-mag-22-lr-40-gr-copper-plated-round-nose-5000-round-case-100-per-box
Oh God, im so demorgalized.
Gaise, definitely don't look for cheaper ammo.
It's ogre, time to give up.
*walks into Walmart and buys a 333 box for $20*
>mfw you used to be able to buy boxes of 333's for $15 each at walmart
Have you checked, mine still have them and are cheap
are these prices good?
Are SSS discontinued forever?

I heard it works great in ersatz cans, though
Also, oof, them prices
am i retard who cant math or am i missing something?
site claims $0.06 a round
3250 for $190
thats 3250/190
is $0.17
yes you are retard who cannot math
try $190/3250 = 0.058
baka at the American public school system
oh right. that explains things. thanks
i just ordered 5800 rounds for $325 from buckinghorse outpost
If you bought browning 22 off Opticsplanet a month ago, it was free.
>5¢/round

minimag for 7cpr was worth when remington/winchester bulk was 5 cpr
now that bulk has dropped down to 6cpr (and aguila is even 5cpr), it doesn't make sense to pay 12 cpr for minimags
Mini mags are more reliable overall, but any decently made modern gun can function with any shit ammo, as long as you're willing to do a bit more cleaning if the bullets aren't plated. I have some older guns that hate bulk ammo like blazer or thumberbolt.

.
My local sportsman warehouse sells them for sub 11 for normal price, can snag them up for 8 when they go on sale.
yeah
