                >who cares, there is enough gear for years of war

Your post perfectly encapsulates why you are going to lose this war, Ivan. You hear of 10,000 Russians slain on the field of battle and it does not fill you with outrage, sadness, or even the most mild concern. Your response to this unfathomable (in modern times) waste of human life is to dismiss it as a trifle. Something not even worth making a note of. You continue to "trust the plan" in the worst way imaginable. As a result, nothing gets done to fix the problems and another 10,000 are sent to equally pointless deaths with nauseating regularity.

I wonder if this was the reason Ukrainian letter uses alphabet i instead of the reversed N

No, the Cyrillic alphabet used to have more letters, including the i, but those were removed by the Bolsheviks in an attempt to simplify writing for the commoners. Very interesting bit of history to read up on, since Communists tend to dumb down many things for the morons.

          Russian uses ' i '. Ukrainian also uses ' ї ' with two dots.

No, the Cyrillic alphabet used to have more letters, including the i, but those were removed by the Bolsheviks in an attempt to simplify writing for the commoners. Very interesting bit of history to read up on, since Communists tend to dumb down many things for the morons.

Both have the same number corrently:
          >Both Ukrainian and Russian use the 33-letter Cyrillic alphabet, but there are four letters in Ukrainian missing from Russian (ґ, є, i, ї), and four letters in Russian missing from Ukrainian (ё, ъ, ы, э).

Russians primarily choose notebooks with graph paper. Like most notebooks small and big sold in Russia have graph paper inside. this is type of paper Russians prefers for notes.

It helps align notes i guess. Also habit from school times when pupils make notes in school type textbooks. There is also lined paper textbooks for Russian language class but surely they are not popular voluntary choice of the paper.
