Is there a way that I can install an ultrabright spotlight on my car that will automatically detect excessive light coming from people's headlights and will point towards the source of light and blind the driver? A strobe setting would be nice too.

I'd rather mount it backward for buttholes tailgating and flashing.

brake check them, anytime someone tailgates me I immediately slam the brakes and do the speed limit
I enjoy watching them throw a temper tantrum in my review mirror

Illegally? Sure, a webcam and cheap camera gimbal should work, with a raspberry pi or something.

Wouldn't it be simpler just to drive head on into him if that's your goal?

Stretch goal to flash at cyclists who think flashing cycle lights make them more visible (it makes them significantly harder to see)

    Yeah, that's a mirror. Dumbass.
Or a retroreflector (disco ball) if you have a luxury car.

pretty sure that such a thing would not be legal, and get you in to a lot of trouble.

why has diy suddenly become the "revenge" board.

    go be vindictive somewhere else.

We really need to deescalate the LED headlights arms race. I'm having trouble driving at night at all now.

homosexuals can't see at night because they can't stop looking at their phones every five seconds while driving. If one of these little b***hes hits me I'm going to set their house on fire while they're sleeping.

I can still drive, but one day i'm gonna get blinded and hit a crackhead Black person who didn't look both ways before walking across a busy street

Amazon sent me an email telling me that the replacement bulbs I bought for my truck a few years ago had since been banned for on-road use. Luckily I'm lazy and hadn't replaced my old bulbs with the 'Eye of Megatron' yet. The exchange process looked like a big hassle since it had to be done through a company in China because Amazon's return window had already closed. Maybe someday I'll diy a lightbar and use the illegal bulbs in it but for off-road use. Or I'll probably be lazy and in sixty years, my grandkids will find them in my garage when cleaning out my stuff after I die.

i've thought about doing that, except with X number of those 5W ultraviolet lasers you can get off ebay.

Just fit retroreflectors to your car. Retroreflectors always reflect light, like from headlights, back to its source.
