I have tiny hands and a thin frame so it's really the only thing I can reasonably carry, p365 felt terrible

yeah man, the whole mouse gun game is set about $225. Why go into low tier CCW money.
You want a little pecker pickup a Zastava M70 pistol for $225 it fires .32cal and is a mini tokarev and way cooler then a plastic .380

      >do your research if yo thinking of buying it. Some have shitty after market sights that dont even line up.

Curio & Relic. Guns that fall into that category can be shipped to your home so long as you've got your FFL03

Easily. The build quality top to bottom on the max dwarfs the LCP and LCP, brings noticeable quality of life improvements(namely the sights but a lot of other things), and offers a significant and meaningful capacity increase. The question isnt whether the price difference is worth it, the question is whether you need the absolute smallness and light weight of the LCP or can manage the LCP max. To be clear though, while the LCP max is bigger than the LCP its still small enough to be almost as concealable, if you somehow struggle with the LCP(twink in skinny jeans i guess?) then the LCP max might be a bridge too far. Personally i find the LCP max to have a slight but noticeable increase in pocket footprint, as in i can personally feel a difference in the pocket between the two, but it isnt visible to others.
    >t. long time LCP 2 pocket carrier, new LCP max pocket carrier.

No. They're both pieces of shit that are fricking awful to shoot like all pocket guns. Might as well have the cheaper one.

Best part of getting a .380 is to pocket carry. Can you even fit that fatass 10+1 in your pocket? Neither even has a safety, that's not a good idea for a pocket gun.

if youre really considering the lcp max, why not get the max9? its a solid subcompact around the same size with the same ergos and can take advantage of better 9mm defense loads.

Also yeah the LCP and LCP II suck ass as anything other than mouse guns (which means they suck in general)

it's not all about the price. the max will be significantly heavier fully loaded, and the thickness will be noticeable as well.

also, you can get the original lcp for cheaper than that. look around and you'll find it for 200 shipped, then add your transfer fee. academy's prices are always a bit high, not full on rape like cabela's, but you can find better prices elsewhere.

I bought an LCP for under $250 including a box of ammo and love it. The Max is to big for pocket carry unless you're a fat frick or intend to carry in your jacket or whatever. If I were going to spend $400 on a pocket pistol i would buy a bodyguard.
