Doesn't matter to me either. Why would I care about some dumb vapid b***h being repelled by me while I'm in a dangerous area

Bitches love dangerous men, if an ugly dude has a knife on it, they'll be like "ew weapons". If it's an attractive dude the b***h be like "wow he's so dangerous" and would prolly be even wetter.xr8

You must live a pretty boring life if you seriously can't come up with situations where you'd use a knife for cutting, prying, or scraping by yourself.

          cutting:boxes. opening shit
          prying: nails from pallets
scraping:removing stuff from branches (dog likes to fetch)
          self defense: better than fists
just cause you are boring and dont do shit doesnt mean others follow suit.

Literally all of those would be better served by a small folding knife or multitool except for self defense, and relying on a knife for self defense is stupid as frick.

no. i wont. i have a little swiss army pocket knife, its useful, i prefer having a larger fixed blade. notice how i said its better to have a knife than just fists. i never said it was all you need. i carry a gun for defense.

As an EDC? Probably not but if you suddenly needed to kill four people in a college house it works pretty good.

No. It's frick-off big. If you want a full-size combat knife, get a Ontario OKC-3S so you can at least fix bayonet to your 590A1 or non-suppressed AR with birdcage and A2 FSB. If you want a big boy EDC fixed blade, get an ESEE-4. Or the ESEE-5. The Kabar is cool, but really only for the memes ore history. And I'm saying this as a former infantry crayon eater who bought and kept one on his flak for belligerency purposes. I do applaud your high-test behavior, regardless of your choice.

    Depends on your state laws.
It may be illegal to carry and is likely illegal to conceal carry.
Beyond that there are better choices than a Kabar for everyday use and unless you are hopelessly autistic or live innawoods carrying a fixed blade isn't the best idea.

I broke mine in ordinary USAF deployed use. If you cannot use a field knife as a prybar to open crates and otherwise brutalize it, it's shit. Good thing it was cheap.

However knives that size are mostly larpgay toys so you do you. BTW the old USAF survival knives suck too but their design was to be canopy and other aircraft transparency breakers at which the point worked fine.

OPs trenchcoat and fedora offer plenty of room for a gladius.

No. It's too large for concealed carry, has unnecessary crossguard and overly thick spine.
If you live in rural area where nobody gives a frick about concealment - then I think everyone would laugh at military larp of yours while doing daily tasks with more innocent looking blades

Would a chef knife be good for safe defense? I see them a lot in Korean gangster movies.

      >Would a chef knife be good for safe defense
Knives are generally bad for self defence, because point of SD is to prevent a crime, not to kill a b***h.
But if you want to kill a person, a reasonably thick and wide chef would do just fine. They're common in Asian cinema because Asian people either have trouble with weapon access or tend to make their movies reasonably realistic - kitchen knives have greater killcount than any dagger type
