Is the FM-15's solution to the AR buffer tube problem the best way to have a folding DI gun?

Is the FM-15's solution to the AR buffer tube problem the best way to have a folding DI gun? Piston-cels frick off, I do not care if you stroke it long or short. Also would you take an 11.5 or 12.5 barrel for 556?

Fm15s are cool. I have not heard about reliability issues

Clearly not American, probably malding that he can't own firearms in his cucked euronation

Would be nice if they sold the parts so I could put a good barrel instead of their mystery meat tube.

Strike Industries should be releasing the SIAR this year hopefully which solves the problems presented by the FM15 and the BRN180.

Wait.. isn't this just one of those Canadian AR18 cope rifles they have dozens of copies of since they can't have AR15s?

No but I would like a AR18 style rifle with a folding stock.
The SIAR is a improved BRN-180 with a better dust cover and accepts any kind of barrel instead of brownells and their proprietary shit.

Yea 12.5 is the way to go it's a mid length so it'll shoot even softer than a 11.5, 10.5 or even a 9. Frick Brassfacts was right they just need to make a whole catalog in what barrel lengths fricking exist. I wouldn't even be shocked if they had a 20" variant.

Why do people want a folding stock so bad? The benefits of having one are so minimal on a short rifle.

Just get a bullpup, no need to fold the stock when the OAL is always short. Solves your cucked barrel length issues too.

12.5" is as low as i'd comfortably go unless I was specifically building a gun for CQB or something that needs to be carried in vehicles often.

Eugene stoner made the AR18/16 to have a folding stock. Pic rel is what the ar15/10 were only meant to be and if you have a full picatinny top rail length ar, you're the equivalent to a mexican with a trashy tuner honda civic

Either a downright awful take or bait. Catch up to the times and stop larping as a boomer. Arms, armor, tactics, and private use has all evolved heavily since the 60s. How can you not realize great rifles still need updates to stay relevant? Most likely your dads balls were just dropping when this rifle was adopted

I wish this brace wasn't so fricking terrible, the bottom struts fold easily just by pushing on the back.

The brn has a funky control layout and the JAKL is heavy and (If I recall) needs some other parts to attach to a regular AR lower

PSA gonna PSA. I'd still trust them more to honor their warranties and fix the issue more than some company who's entire business exists off of a gimmick.
