          Literally a skill issue

Yes, if Gaston Glock had more skill these wouldn't be issues

literally all of those points are factually incorrect
you sound like you learn everything you "know" from israelitetube inflooencers

But the trigger is shit and mushy, and the grip is blocky and oversized with a hump, and the grip angle was designed to resemble a "pro shooters" grip (read, not the majority of users), and the price for a new Glock is overvalued compared to other poly strikers though. Not sure about the other matters

Glock triggers are fine considering the safety mechanisms they have and the grip angle complaint is such a lame gripe.

Also who tf buys glocks new? You can get them used for half the price.

        >>shit price vs competitors
it's the same price if not cheaper. big box stores sell the echelon for more than a glock 47

I think the 43x is the best Glock. However, if you have a full size then yes, the performance trigger is worth it.

        >I think the 43x is the best Glock
snappier than a 48 while no more concealable
putting a comp on it to tame the snap just makes it the size of a 48 anyways and now you need to tune it to ensure reliability with said comp

The Walther PDP plates are not good. They're cast pieces of shit, just like Glock ones. If you want a good Walther plate, you want a milled steel one from Forward Controls, who incidentally make the best Glock plates.

            Your incorrect full stop.
The free plate you get from Walther is steel and manufactured by CHPWS on contract with Walther.

              1. CHPWS makes awful plates. There's hundreds of these threads. https://pistol-forum.com/showthread.php?48092-CHPWS-Issues&s=9c976e8e82cb31eebdd52a27beaa1912
              2. The OEM Walther plate is cast. That's why it has sprue marks on the bottom of it. That's why even the Waltherforums posters don't like it.

wouldn't this be an issue with anyone making aluminum plates?
                >2. The OEM Walther plate is cast.
at least it's still ferrous and not some random pot metal alloy other companies use

truthfully I don't even use the PDP optic plate because I shelled out for the RMR cut slide when Walther/Umarex was selling those over a year ago.

                >wouldn't this be an issue with anyone making aluminum plates?
Yes, absolutely. Driving steel fasteners into an aluminum medium is no bueno. That is a primary reason why airplanes are riveted together, rather than screwed together. The reason why CHPWS makes the majority of their plates out of aluminum is that they employ a bunch of morons with no actual machinist experience, and aluminum is cheaper and easier to mill than steel. They came under fire for this, and so have recently phased in steel plates, but those are still below the quality of many other manufacturers' steel plates.

Additionally, CHPWS have the added ignominy of being cringy instagram #BOOMSQUAD homosexuals with legendarily poor customer service.

I will admit to having lied for the sake of brevity; what I really carry is the antithesis of the 43X: a 48 slide mounted on a 43 frame, along with a MagGuts +2 extension. this gives me the sight radius and barrel length of the full-size while printing like a compact, at a cost of only 2 less rounds than a stock 43X or 48.
              >Sig P365
I do not buy nusig products
              >43x/48
just the fact that you have to conflate the two shows how pointless the 43x is. it shoots like a compact and prints like a full-size; there is zero reason for it to exist. it offers the worst of both the 43 and the 48 with no conceivable upside.
I can respect people who carry a basic 43 and I can respect people who carry a basic 48, but if you carry a 43X then I just think you're moronic, especially if you go around on the internet calling it the best glock on the market.

The most salient difference between the 17 and 47 is the recoil. The 17 has the longer recoil spring assembly which deflects more and is softer, whereas the 47 uses the shorter 19 RSA. On the other hand, the 17 is much lighter than the 47, because it has a plastic dust cover instead of a steel one. The 47 actually weighs closer to the 34 than it does the 17. Some people prefer the heavier weight of the 47 for shooting, some people prefer the longer 17 RSA for shooting, most mere mortals like you and I can’t tell much of a difference, but it is there.

is it better to get MOS or have slide milled?

MOS is cheaper most the time, but the plate adds about 1/8 inch height to the optic. MOS lets you use different footprints if you ever change your optic, milled slide does not.
