It got hit by a lancet and the footage instantly ends after the hit so hard to tell. We've had wildly inconsistent results from Lancet strikes so I think it probably didn't finish off the vehicle or otherwise they would have included footage of the vehicle blowing up or half dead crew crawling out of the vehicle.
They have a couple of different variants. The later models had the payload literally doubled because the earlier ones had a tendency of just scaring the shit out of the target but not doing much else.
Entirely depends.
Those fv103s don't have a ton of armour though, it shouldn't really be ahead of other armour even with the decent sensor packages on it.
Yes it can be used for AT, relatively effectively against light armour, but it's not primary used like that.
The crew had already fled for some reason, so I doubt it was functional. Tracks look ok, so probably some fault or artillery shrapnel fucked the engine idk.
To turn every (possible) hit into a (possible) destroyed target. That, low video quality and the wild video cuts have become a sign for russian videos.
Looks like it was a old lancet warhead judging by the anemic strike. Both The 1 kg /3 kg warhead seem to be absolute garbage. And RPG 7 is like 2.7kg so it might have some effect in the range of 200mm penetration.
Hard to tell since they don't show any aftermath footage.
Full video shows lots of shell holes in the area and a destroyed tank nearby, likely already knocked out just flying a drone into it for PR purposes. Not surprising as they have been there and at the very front for what, 9 months and this is the first the Russians have taken out?
The marks on the ground behind show that someone tried to tow it already. Clearly an already incapacitated vehicle either through mechanical failure or enemy action.
The tank missing its turret and the craters all around both vehicles makes me think they were hit with an arty barage and the crew bailed, the Stormer was damaged as a result of the barage and recovery operation also failed either from the vehicles running gear being so damaged it wouldn't pull or the recovery crew came under fire also.
My guess is the latter as pulling a cvrt isn't hard they hardly weigh anything, Chinooks can lift them.
Yeh I know but this is the first video of a Stormer being hit so it isn't possible for them to reuse it because its the first one.
I think it was damaged with arty like the tank behing, abandoned then recovery was attempted at a later date but that was also unsuccessful due to Russian fire. Then even knowing the Stormer was as good as dead they hit it with a Lancet for a nice video trying to emulate the embarresment the Pantsir had.
It looked relatively undamaged honestly. They were probably trying to hit it before someone came to retrieve it at night.

Yeh true but holes can be tiny or maybe it wasn't damaged but the crew bailed when they came under heavy fire. It will be interesting to see the Lancet damage if any.
Not sure if you heard about the Scimitar that's crew survived being shot by an Abrams lol
At least it's likely far behind the lines.
As long as they don't hit any missiles, they can pop most of the stuff over to a new hull.
Would probably need to replace some electronics though.
lol i remember that one time a lancet struck a piece of towed arty and all it did was pop the tire.
i'm curious if they've actually unfucked that thing and gave it an actual shaped charge otherwise this stormer is only lightly damaged. not that it matters because it looks abandooned in the first place.
It hit the hull front (go watch the observer drone video) and the smoke didn't come out of the open rear door, so it's an engine hit and lacks the penetration to go through the engine into the crew compartment. Relatively easy to repair as far as battle damage goes.
It looked immobile either through the crew not being vigilant or had been knocked out due to Russian fire, that may possibly be why it wasn't screening for drones. The charge didn't look to have much impact, if they can tow it out or drive it out(so long as the engines fine) then it should be able to be repaired.
Would be interesting to know the context as to why this Stormer had ended up in this position. A little propaganda win for the Russians back home though.
Yes.
Not anymore

Post vid. Did it get exploded? Or just damaged.

Footage mysteriously cuts off at impact *~~)
Do lancets have shaped charge warheads?

why did they cut video so early?
The camera run out of recording tape

you know why

>AHH IVAN YOU HIT IT
>WAIT IZ NOT DEAD
>BLYAT CUT FOOTAGE
Yeah, not a party in the conflict . at least not now
>Anti-air
>Can't shoot down a shitty Russian drone
Is this the power of the West?
Yeah, those fucking westoids can't shoot down anything, amirite?
You're trolling, right?
Yeah, I was just joking
>Once again the hohols showing that the best training they recieved from the West is how to lie
Sounds like good news for you, but why are you salty?
>salty
I'm just joking

Russians have been known to stage these videos by using the same damaged hull for multiple drone strikes, or using gears stolen from the musem

Do they say where this is? I'm curious as to where Ukraine is doing mechanised pushes.
It's not even from ukraine. vatniks are projecting again
Only ziggers unitonically use "vatnik" on PrepHole to falseflag.
>t. either newfag, or actual false flagging vatnik
At least it's likely far behind the lines.

abandoned doesn't mean it can't be tugged back at night
Zisters, we are so back! We destroyed a HATO wunderwaffe!
Lancet has the single charge RPG warhead afaik, some Ukrainians were saying so.
Looks like it wasn't a total hull loss, but the expensive part of a Stormer are the electro-optical system and it hit that more or less dead on.
It hit the hull front (go watch the observer drone video) and the smoke didn't come out of the open rear door, so it's an engine hit and lacks the penetration to go through the engine into the crew compartment. Relatively easy to repair as far as battle damage goes.
that's assuming they're not in no mans land and are willing to risk towing it back.
what is aa doing

daily/weekly/monthly lancet thread *~~*~~
Hello newfriend
>no details
>Not even a webm
I never thought I'd say this, but you're even worse than a hohol at this point.
