Didn't the IDF just abandon it in favor of M4's?

~~*They*~~ should've abandoned them in favor of AUGs.

Not because M4s are "better". It was SOLELY because of cost.

That makes sense when it comes to ((them))

I had one of the original ones and did the whole Giesle trigger and everything and still got 4-5 inch groups at 100yards some times and 3-4 inch others. Not terrible accuracy but i have an SGL-21 that does 2 MOA pretty reliably. I got pissed because i put about $2k in the gun and upgrades and it still had (at the time) $400 DPMs Oracle accuracy.

At least ten of them have blown up on IDF record, so probably not the best.

Best general purpose one. Decent trigger, same overall length as CZ Scorpion, very reliable piston system, and almost all controls are AR controls. With a suppressor on mine it's the same length as a 12.5" AR but keeps 16" ballistics while being suppressed. I say it's the best for general purpose. Not meant for long range and has typical military accuracy of 3 moa. Oh yea the bad.... Your mag changes are gonna be 1 second longer.

idk about that but its a good gun
in the most recent batch the army switched from the 33cm barrel ones to 38cm barrels but you can still see some of the older ones around.

Until the Springfield VHS came out the X95 was the most "practical" bullpup around, for whatever that's worth. The AUG is still better, regardless.

Imagine paying more for an AUG knock off

it's like an AUG but shittier in every way
it's also like an AR-15, but shittier in every way except for being shorter

It's neither the best nor the worst. But pretty much everything it does, has already been done by the AUG.

It's alright, felt a bit bulky if compared to the M4. not the most pleasant gun to shoot.

Not Tavor related, but how much would you anons pay for a 24 inch AUG barrel?

It is definitely one of the assault rifles.

I had one and sold it because it would constantly push hot gasses into my eyes while shooting it. no gun that cost 2k+ should do this.
