I don't know but all the shit made in Germany has an inflated price. I don't know if it's tariffs or just higher cost of manufacture in Germany or what. The stuff really isn't better, especially firearms related items.
Honestly, Holoson is really killing it on pistol optics. I can't disagree and have an EPScarry on my Glock 43x but man, it sucks supporting China.
Oh, I see. It also is cheaper than the one I saw. A couple years ago, I'd swear I saw one for like $700 and I think, made in Germany. If you're willing to spend the $550 or whatever reputable sellers are selling them for, then go for it or you can get a just as good Holosun from China and save yourself a couple hundred dollars.
Faced with that choice, I'd probably get the Steiner if the money wasn't a big deal.
It's an enclosed optic so it's okay at best but you could get issues like seals being broken, glass shattering due to changes in temperature (those are anecdotal at best).
The mount options kinda suck (it comes with an 11mm rail plate that adapts to a Dr. Optic plate), but the optic is good. My other pistol dot experience is Holosun, Primary Arms, and Trijicon. Trijicon is the best complete package, but if the Stiener dot had better compatibility with my handguns, it'd probably be my favorite.
I like mine. >$300 price point difference from the base m9a4, probably because Beretta owns Steiner >nice carrying case and 3 mags
The battery cover did pop off on me at about 350 rounds but I never tightened it from factory so that's probably why. The adjustments on it feel super solid, nice audible click. The glass and dot are way better than other red dots I've owned, but I was running low tier (burris, vortex) for years. Fov is a little weird with the top mount but the lower height over bore is nice, would be even better with a super deep optics cut but that's entirely a Beretta thing. Overall I'm happy with it and would buy one on its own the next time I need another pistol red dot.
they say square is harder to seal then round.
>When they all cost $50 bucks I wont care about such things
Yeah
Holosun EPS better

It's miusa.
>Cr1632
Oof. Will that even exist in 10 years?

its steiner so no.
It's very good. Bigger window than an Acro, very clear glass. Only downside is less battery life.
are you?
It kinda looks like a penis to me
It looks gay and retarded so therefore it is
No
That's pretty awful. My EPScarry is still going strong.
I think when trijicon releases their closed emitter red dot, I may jump over to it.

Did you not hear?
