Probably not unless she but the stock right against her belly. You might need to worry about lead tho

i figure there might be problems with exhaust gas, that could be bad for the baby if she's a rangebunny and huffs gun daily right?

It's a possibility. You should probably ask a doctor instead of neckbeards on a Telegu light brite forum

This, not worth the risk of having to deal with a 70 IQ brainlet.

    Sound can

The sound absolutely can harm babies hearing. Also lead exposure for mom leads to a huge increase in birth defect rates for basically every defect.

your range bunny baby momma is gonna have to switch to airsoft guns until baby is at least 1yo, because lead exposure in super young babies is also super dangerous.

This. Your baby has no earpro.

Not at all. As a matter of fact, when my gf was 8 mo pregnant I could tell the little guy was suffocating in there when he started kicking. I didn't want to wake my wife at the time, but i knew i had to do something so i grabbed the handgun i always keep by my nightstand and just squoze a little shot into her belly so the baby could get some air. I could tell he needed it too, because she immediately went into labor. Thankfully my sister was there to rush her to the hospital. Unthankfully the retarded cunt broke up with me for saving our child, so i swapped her child with a little niglet in the maternity ward that she's gonna have to raise now, lel

I expect my wife to take absolutely no risks while she's holding my child. I don't want my kid coming out deaf because she couldn't bear to not go to the range for a few months

Just have your baby wear earpro bro

Nah but seriously MRIs are like 120dB for between 20 and 45 minutes (or more), and there's never been a case of a baby coming out with hearing damage because their mom had an MRI while she was pregnant. I doubt a gun is going to cause any damage.

Most unsuppressed gunshots are 140db or more. That's approximately 100x louder than an MRI. It's not a valid comparison.

If you give your unborn child tinnitus then he or she won’t need to bother wearing earpro after birth.

The sound will agitate the baby in mid to late pregnancy, increasing stress, thus impairing growth. Not recommended. If there's anythign to min-max, it's neonatal hygiene -- and that extends well beyond just eating well. If she can hold off coffee and alcohol and cigs and diet soda for the duration, the marksmanship can wait. If you absolutely must get some reps in do it suppressed or plink .22s.

      >Is it dangerous for your wife to shoot guns while pregnant?

No so long as she's doing it properly.

      >recoil

So long as she's not doing something that would cause injury even if she wasn't pregnant like firing a shotgun one-handed, no.

      >sound

Much like sex, the uterus on its own offers more than enough protection from the sound generated by a gun blast. There's been cases where pregnant women have set on fire and and basically melted alive, yet their fetuses were found almost intact. At worst, it might make the fucker kick a bit more as said.

Yes. At a certain point the noise can be harmful to the child. They also say the recoil could cause problems but that’s less likely than damage from the sound. The baby is literally in a water bubble now think about what dropping a cherry bomb in a lake does

i would not worry about recoil or sound, but lead is toxic for the development of child
    look up saturnism

unless you want a retarded child i would abstain from getting your pregnant wifi on a range sniffing lead and gaz

You're basically shaving off a couple of IQ points due to lead in mother's bloodstream. Will your child be retarded? Unlikely but why risk it at all

Women shouldn't have to shoot guns. Every context a woman needs to operate a gun is a problem made by the absence of her provider man.

You MAKE your women fight? I bet they're a delight to be with and would never surrender to the red mist and bash your skull in just because
        >muh but i'm stronger
And they're more cunning. If a trained killer woman wants you dead you're dead, and it will happen for no reason.

    no
    >sound
until we stick a microphone in a uterus and do DB testing we won't know for sure but I probably wouldn't risk it. All the flesh and uteral lining probably offer some sound reduction but probably don't go shooting SBRs indoors a bunch

Yeah. Better make sure she doesn't ride a bicycle or do any exercise that involves jumping or running, the frail female uterus might fall out.

Yes, lead poisoning will make your baby turn out retarded. Pregnant women should not be anywhere near a range and you should be using de-lead wipes after every trip.

      >believing liberal climate cultist lies about lead

If anything the inceased lead exposure will be good for your child since it will mitigate all the xenoestrogens in the plastics that your wife surely has been exposed to, which will make your child more likely to not be retarded. Notice how the older generations that were reared with leaded gasoline and paint were hardier and smarter than the zoomers of today? Removing lead form our environment is a ploy by the left to make everyone more docile.

Between the sound and the potential for chemical exposure, it's probably not the best place if it can be avoided. It's up to you guys to figure out if it's worth the risk.

Is it worth the risk? Even if it turns out to be harmless why risk the health and future of your child? Just tell her not to shoot for 9 months problem solved. She's a hobbyist not a junkie.

    >could the sound be damaging to a developing baby?
    Yes. Absolutely
    >Maternal Occupational Exposure to Noise during Pregnancy and Hearing Dysfunction in Children: A Nationwide Prospective Cohort Study in Sweden
    >This study showed an association between occupational noise exposure during pregnancy and hearing dysfunction in children. In view of mechanistic evidence and earlier indicative epidemiological and experimental findings, the results support that pregnant women should not be exposed to high levels of noise at work.
    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4892921/
    >Is occupational noise exposure during pregnancy a risk factor of damage to the auditory system of the fetus?
    >A total of 131 children were examined. Their mothers had worked, while pregnant with that child, in noise conditions ranging from 65 to 95 dBA-8h. Results show a three-fold increase in the risk of having a high-frequency hearing loss in the children whose mothers were exposed to noise in the range between a LAeq,9 m of 85 to 95 dB, and a significant increase in the risk of hearing loss at a frequency of 4000 Hz when these exposures involved a strong component of low-frequency noise.
    https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/3788986/

Naturally there aren't any studies looking at the impact of shooting specifically but these occupational noise exposure studies used significantly lower noise thresholds that the foetus would be exposed to during a shooting. There's some protection provided by the uterus etc but clearly it's not 100%
