If they have one gun they are an expert in it more than the person who has 20 and never shoots, thus making them more dangerous.

      um
      is he scary?

well that's not what you fucking said.
people who only own one gun usually don't give a shit about shooting

Not if that's his gun. He probably doesn't even shoot it, just jerks himself off about le ebin shotgun revolver

This. The judge is the gun for hicks and rednecks who don't know anything about firearms. If they actually shot it, they'd know enough sell it and get anything else.

If it was a guy with a taurus 605 or something similar I would be much more concerned.

It's not bad if you live in snake country, but my Taurus Tracker can be loaded with rat shot shells and it works just as well.
Otherwise, the Judge is a functional DA .45 Colt, so it's not like it doesn't do anything at all.

the guys local trap club used to keep one around in case someone needed a serious handicap. is it a practical gun? no, but it's fun as hell

I’ve probably killed more snakes than you even seen. You probably never even shot at a person before

besides being a range toy, the taurus judges seems to only be suited for python hunting in the florida everglades. but i suppose a .410 derringer would work just as well.

I like their "Executive Grade" 856, but why'd they have to make it with a bobbed hammer/DAO?

The idea was a concealed carry that isn't as likely to snag on clothing.
Like you, I prefer external SA/DA hammers on my wheel gats.

I've carried both hammerless and regular revolvers, and I can't say it was that noticeable. I'll take the option of firing single action over any perceived drawing advantage.

That is a really ugly gun
Would rather an obsolete gun than one that hurts eyes

It would be good if it was +p rated. Maybe make some proprietary shells that can put out double the energy so buckshot loads don't suck.

On a side note, what's the general legality of carrying tungsten loads in one of these? I bet that would achieve the desired penetration with higher pellet count loads using something like BB shot.

You can build a nuke and it wouldnt result in jail time unless you told everyone about it

Guns are the great equalizer, and their potential should be respected.
