Bigger warhead means bigger boom for same size rocket?
IDK, I'm not a rocket scientist.

That would defeat entire purpose of using modular rocket canisters for reloading the thing fast in the field and stacking those modules on transportation vehicles.

They are decent. Like you last resort if nothing is working. Insas is pretty accurate but it has very shit magazines. They tried to copy steyr aug mags and failed.
We do have companies that are building foreign rip offs though.
Like Indian Scar and Indian Bren 2 picrel

We broke that dam. Do you remember the 20 indian soldiers dying and 45 chinkmen dying that was because we were breaking the soft dam they made in Galwan river

It's still better then the T-series

It's a T-Series produced in India. The main advantage is volume - since India is more industrialized than Russia.

Because this is probably nothing but a tech demonstrator on a leopard 2 hull.
Probably. At this point we don't know shit about it except that the turret is probably quite good.

The DRDO hired Krauss-Maffei (the firm which designed the Leopard 2) as a consultant on the Arjun project, which is why the Arjun looks a lot like the Leopard 2A4. Assuming the KF51 was an actual design instead of a concept car, if you gave the entire technical package to India tomorrow, they'd turn it into something that was objectively worse in everyway and it wouldn't enter service until 2055.
Think I'm exaggerating? The first regiment to be equipped with Arjuns only got them in 2007.
They entered production in 2004. The design was finalized in 1996. The design process started in 1983. A R&D bureau was established to design it in 1976. Funding was released to develop an indigenous tank in 1974. And the initial request for a new tank began in 1971. As of 2021 (seventeen years after the first one left the assembly lines) India has a total of 141 Arjuns. It took FIFTY YEARS to procure them--- and they're not even good tanks.

They are as good as Challenger mk 1 and they have far more ammo variety than most modern MBT's.
        The Arjun can fire
        >Hesh
        >Apfsds
300mm was the old value. Now 500 mm rha apfsds in service. We are working on 650 mm rha which will most likely either be an Israeli m711 based apfsds or the Challenger mk2 apfsds in tungsten. We are also developing an 800 mm rha apfsds but that still in design stage and is more of wunderwaffe than real.
        >Thermobaric
        >HEAT
        >APHE/Penetration Cumblast
        >Laser guided missile
        >Fire and forget missile
Also Arjun is not limited like the challenge mk2 with three piece ammunition it's single piece ammo like the Abrams and Leopard so it can shoot far longer apfsds rounds than the Challenger if developed

I legitimately liked shooting an INSAS and for all the shit the indian military gets; their general units are pretty motivated, at least my experience was this. They have a horrible time procuring anything and have an atrocious government to support it.
