Who said that it was undetected? It's some made up vatnik narrative. Apparently Polish government sent some helis to look for the remnants of the missile but couldn't locate it. What is more annoying is that they swept it under the rug without informing the public for 5 months. But I guess this was a right decision for war times within their mandate.

The entire thing was very shady from the start because even a year later the results are still inconclusive as fuck and the government isn't saying jack shit.

2)Russians testing NATO defenses etc

Impossible. It was identified as Kh-55/Kh-555. Poland never had access to these missiles. The only possibility is that Ukraine somehow got their hands on it, send it to Poland for some tests and then it failed like you’re saying or fell off a plane (lol) but this scenario doesn’t make sense given many other facts about the location and the fact that the government already issued some info about the origin of the missile and that they had actively tried to search for it with helicopters and other shit. Weird stuff

If the missile is alone, then it is safe to assume it has gone bonkers and doesnt aim for Warsaw. You dont want to shoot at it because you could bring it down over someones house, so you wait till its not over some forest or out of fuel. At least, it seems logical to me this way.

Would they reach some settlement with russia (you pay the families and give us the guy who shot...)? The missile does not know where it is because it does not know where isn't. It cannot subtract where it is from where it isn't, so it cannot obtain deviation.
