Your third point isn't a point because it doesn't answer
explain how the entire A-10 support system with years of human experience is suddenly transmogrified into the Ukraine.
sounds like some kind of autistic fever dream
's question in the slightest.
Also I'd like a real source on what you're talking about. Your source just has links to itself and actual real sources like the text of the House bill don't mention what you're talking about.
vatBlack person confirmed. >Among the amendments approved as part of the deliberation process was a provision from Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) to authorize $100 million to provide training to Ukrainian pilots and ground crews to become familiarized with American aircraft. Ukrainian pilots and defense officials have pleaded for the U.S. to provide them with aircraft such as the F-16, and while thus far the Biden administration has rejected those calls, Kinzinger’s amendment was agreed to in an uncontroversial voice vote.
No, moron, an actual source. Said amendment doesn't appear in the actual text of the bill.

They would just fly them low and at night like basically all the missions on both sides are being flown. AA is a non-factor. The majority of downed aircrafts are coming from MANPADs.

Kinzinger is killing it this week, figuratively and literally
Honestly pulling a "soviet pilots in korea" stunt is probably the only way A-10's will partake in the war. I can barely operate the fricker in DCS and that's with the manual in my hand. Now if there were some skyhawks or something in storage that might be a bit more compatible with eastern european air operations
>volunteers are all veterans with a past in special forces
This is proven to be bullshit.
I guess that motivated people with past military experience are better than some random unmotivated conscripts.
a-10s are worthless. low and slow will just get an airframe killed. look how well helicopters are fairing in this war. russian helo pilots are so scared of getting within range of AA they're firing rocket pods as indirect fire weapons. what do you think will happen to an A-10? they are only useful in insurgencies where the enemy has absolutely 0 AA ability outside of a pkm.
>A-10 would be useless anyway >A-10 will not actually be provided >A-10 was already destroyed by russian missile attack >A-10 was already destroyed by russian AA >A-10 was already sold to russians >The raid footage is fake >The A-10 missed the target >The A-10 did hit the target but it was a convoy of blind civilian orphans suffering from vaccines >The A-10 did hit the convoy but did no damage >The russian soldiers all totally survived >The russian soldiers suffered casualties but it was an accident >The A-10 changes nothing as a helicopter could've done the same thing >the west is only prolonging the war by supplying new weapons >If the west continues to supply new weapons to ukraine we will nuke everyone >russia is winning i have sugar and not aids
You forgot the part where they claim that the west is evil for killing Russian troops en masse the same way Russia attacks civilians but Russian isn't evil because those civilians had it coming.
It would be useful as a way to supplement Ukraine's missile capabilities. The A-10 has a decent number of hardpoints and could be very useful in such a role. Imagine a few A-10s patrolling behind the lines that can pop up and take out a Russian Orlan hunting for targets or lob a couple AGM-65s on positions lazer by ground units.
Main differences are the radar, which the A-10 lacks, the a-10 overreliance on the archaic concept of gun runs and the near 300Km/h speed advantage of the frogfoot
The fact those rust buckets can take off and fly for more than 5 minutes means the hog might as well strafe Kremlin, it's not like vatniks will be able to do shit to it.
Overrated by people who dont know shit about weapons/military
If we want ukraine to succeed
We need to send them F15/F16/F18
The A10 just look very cool but isnt efficient, especially in our times
It could work, but the VatBlack folk are already getting BTFO. By the time the A-10s could become operational, the war will be over. They need more Bayraktars.
I couldn't stop thinking about how kino it would have been back in Feb/March with all those stalled columns of defenseless russian tanks. The BRRRRRT would have been perfect.
>there's many more planes than pilots >there are hundreds of men who've spent hundreds of hours in the A-10C sim
is this our time to shine, simbros? our chance to burn bright?
eat shit this is the chair force's last chance to get rid of A-10s before Congress forces us to waste billions "updating" them only to gut them in 2035 with zero hours served
> Be A-10 > Get rolled into 3rd world military > tank a shoulder fired AA round because your built around your weapins and not egens. > war ends > get 3rd world care > rust out in half memory
Is this the ironic fate of maybe the single best combat aircraft ever built?
>Is this the ironic fate of maybe the single best combat aircraft ever built?
wait i thought we were talking about the a-10?
go read the air force reports on both gulf wars before you get teary eyed over those pieces of shit. they should give them to the ukrainians as soon as possible.
Is air support really a priority for either side right now? Don't they both have in-depth air defenses? I seem to remember one ukrainian claiming that while they don't have modern AA systems most places, what they DO have is a boomer TDF member with a stinger/igla posted up every couple kilometers, which is just as effective (against russians, mind you)
Even if Ukraine got 100 planes and 100 trained pilots tomorrow, would it make much of a difference?
>if BRRAPgays are correct then we'll see some kino orc space program >if BRRAPgays are incorrect then they'll finally shut the frick up just like russaboos got silenced
Do it. Make it happen. This war is a gift that keeps on giving.
Anything with a sniper pod is useful for Ukraine.
The main uses for this would be chucking Mavs and APKWS from max range and low altitude, also maybe lobbing paveways if they can get separate laser designation.
They would also actually be quite useful for attacking patrol boats ect.
Obviously though, Russian AD is too threatening for them to do much beyond that, and even then they would be at considerable risk if RuAF CAP shows up.
training pilots would actually be not too hard, the real issue is training maintainers.
IMO, it's a better use of time to train maintainers on F-16s.
F-16s can do all of that stuff, but also perform CAP and cruise missile defense, whilst being able to run away to Ukrainian AD bubble if the RuAF shows up in force.
Time for the Flying Tigers 2.0
explain how the entire A-10 support system with years of human experience is suddenly transmogrified into the Ukraine.

the russians pulled that shit in the arabic wars too
and got rekt by israelites without AD and number inferiority
IIRC, Scandis and NATO Slavs have already been trained on them.
See
just do what russia says you do
if they claim they are loosing because of GMO supersoldier.... send them
Ok course the volunteers are all veterans with a past in special forces only Russia is so dumb to accept as volunteers prisoners and random Africans
>volunteers are all veterans with a past in special forces
This is proven to be bullshit.

Frick the support system, when one breaks just give them a new one we've got hundreds and we're about to throw them in the trash anyway.

Amazing.
You forgot the part where they claim that the west is evil for killing Russian troops en masse the same way Russia attacks civilians but Russian isn't evil because those civilians had it coming.
Excellent.
Mi-24 have a range of 450km. A-10 only 400km.
Maybe watching the A-10 get spanked by SAMs will shut the boomers and brovets up
Idk how an a10 is so much different to a frog foot in terms of vulnerability and mission profile, and the ukes are using them just fine
Main differences are the radar, which the A-10 lacks, the a-10 overreliance on the archaic concept of gun runs and the near 300Km/h speed advantage of the frogfoot
A lot of dead frogfoots this conflict, on both sides.
This is all a lie anon, admit we never see how A-10 guts r*ssians.
it wouldn't gut russians because its an old maneuverable slow piece of shit that would get chewed up by modern AD.
unmaneuverable*
This might be a problem if vatniks could actually use their SAMs properly.
laughingegyptians.jpg
>modern AD.
Simple, have them equipped with a nuclear detonation device that will explode if they are shot down.
Then it'll be the vatniks nuking themselves by proxy.
I wonder if the USAF still holds on to any of those unguided air-to-air nukes.
Not gonna lie, if Ukie Su-25 can operate successfully, A-10 with vastly superior ECM can as well
>Ukie Su-25 can operate successfully
It's mostly a morale boost(for both sides)
They just dump unguided rockets from max range and leave
The fact those rust buckets can take off and fly for more than 5 minutes means the hog might as well strafe Kremlin, it's not like vatniks will be able to do shit to it.
good thing they are going up against russian ad then...
It'll suffer the same fate as Su-25s in this war
Overrated by people who dont know shit about weapons/military

If you want to become SAM food by both Ukrainians and Russians since their SAMs don't have proper IFF
To liquidate more civilians with?
>sending more American resources to Ukraine.
I'll pass.
hold on there little steppe Black person, you jumped straight to cope talking point #8
have some restraint

Are there some Brits in Ukraine that need strafing?
We should sell the vatniks Warriors. That’ll get the A-10s on target.
ONE TIME.
One time’s not enough. The only good Brit is a dead Brit.
at least two times actualy
