How easy would it be to take one of these locks off if someone stole the gun?

Any cable cutters/linemans pliers worth a frick will cut right through them in one squeeze. Dinky needlenose with shears (the most common type of shear around) usually will take a minute of fricking with to cut it off.

Quite. They're not meant to deter theft, they're meant to prevent ND.

They aren't theft prevention they're for if you have really young children anon. Most child gun deaths are accidents, kids finding a gun and playing with it. That's a really really shitty thing, well worth taking measures against. For guns that aren't your HD/EDC a lock like that is a very cheap easy bit of insurance. If they are than have to consider other measures.

If you’re legally able to kill someone for flagging you with a “totally obviously cleared gun bro!”, then maybe you’re in the wrong op and should apologize to your friend for flagging them?

I think stuff like this really depends on the circumstances, but safety Nazis are fricking losers. At my range there is no RSO and yesterday I set up to shoot while others were shooting, some old boomer prick told me “It’s against the rules to come and go between the range when the range is hot” never in my life have I heard this. Is this some gay IPSC shit? A lot of the moronic rules at my range come from IPSC nonsense but even this one I’ve never heard of

Should clarify I mean walking from the parking lot with my shit to behind the firing line, not walking DOWN range

I don't flinch when a loaded gun is pointed at me, I just don't care dude.
I did flinch when my dad dropped the hammer on my Uberti though, had to tell him not to do that or he'd frick it up. Dunno if he heard me.

The only time a gun is clear is when you've personally checked it.

It's bad form. Loaded or not staring down the business end of a gun is not fun. Last thing I'm working about is what condition it supposedly is in

I'm not going to freak out, but I will assume you're not very careful in how you handle guns. Habits are built on consistency

You are passively aggressively complaining about specific incidents in general terms on the internet instead of directly addressing them with the other concerned parties. You are an enormous loser who not only wouldn't say anything if the waiter fricked up your order, you'd still leave a 25% tip.

Its not the safe gun that's making someone flinch its the dipshit waving it around and their tardeness. Like farting loudly in an elevator or making a homosexual b8 post like you OP

I like how pointing a gun at a stalker NPC gets them to sucker punch you unless you’re supper close friends

You can get away with shooting someone dead for threatening you with a water gun if you can claim you thought the gun was real.

Why shouldn't I shoot you for pointing a real gun at me?
