If Russia started testing nukes, what would actually happen?

If Russia started testing nukes, what would actually happen? Token sanctions, or something serious like cutting off the internet entirely?
Would China care? Or would they freak out?

ALSO, what would the price of a Russian nuke (the most numerous model?) going for sale be valued at?

Vladivostok would be evacuated and an exclusion zone established around the launch (and detonation) site.

Everyone, and I mean down to North Korea would immediately go full retard and take whatever chunk of Russia they could. The entire federal government would be couped and hanged. Putin would be fucked to death in Red Square. Even if it was a demonstration test in bumfuck nowhere.
So all in all the best possible timeline.

Just like they did to the Norks?

Russians nukes probably don't work. Ukraine was maintaining them for years after the 14 invasion. They're compromised.

Russia abides by all nuclear treaties because it's not competitive with the US in regards to development and production capabilities. If it were, it'd have a larger arsenal of better quality regardless of what treaty they signed just like they tried to maintain when they violated the same treaties as the USSR.

The only reason nuclear treaties fell apart recently was because Russia ignored them or their puppet in the US, Trump tore it up. Not exactly a good look for Russia either way.

    >what would actually happen
Depends what you regard as "testing".
    >somewhere far east away from ukraine
Making the improbable assumption that it would actually fully detonate, China & Japan would be mad about possible fallout, China would tell Putler again that they will rape the russian bear into a vassal state if they use it on ukraine.
If it fizzles you'd never hear about it

    >Above black sea or ukraine
Total zigger death for zigeria nuclear force through conventional weapon NATO response on their triad

    >price of a Russian nuke for sale
Somewhere between 1 ruble and 1 thousand trillion gorrillion USD
Can't put a price on something you can't get

How many dead per a single nuke? Seems to me like it's a waste to fire so many.

Well the US would be forced to use counterforce designed nuclear assets in a countervalue role in that animation since all the city-killers have been tossed out over the years and we're left with nothing but silo crackers.

India ceased all communications with russia for a week after they threatened to use nuclear weapons in ukraine. If they actually used it they would essentially accept losing all the allies they have left.

Russia already tried to test nukes less than a year ago, what happened is that their tests failed. Glad I could answer your question, now fuck off.

yes but they didn't test warheads last year so it is still an incorrect statement
          >inb4 doesnt matter if the ICBM fails
wrong, retard. All countries test ICBMs yearly or every few years. The thread is about testing nuclear weapons, which would be a violation of the comprehensive nuclear test ban treaty, which does not apply to delivery systems

China would cut all ties. They want to be seen as friendly. Otherwise all countries around them will invest in nuclear bombs. And they will be pressured to say something or face a block building of West + Chinas neighbours and non nuclear cointries.

Highly doubt that - China needs Russias cheap oil, grain, and cheap vodka whores. Russia needs chinas “advanced” manufacturing

Not at the cost of getting dragged into a global anti-Russia dogpile on the wrong side. Xi would make a very public show of disappointment and condemnation, while preparing a SMO to protect the Chinese economic intere... I mean the Chinese-speaking population of the Far Eastern sector of former Russia.

Carpet bomb Belgrade, raze Belgrade, glass Belgrade, turn Belgrade into a parking lot. Delete Belgrade, turn it into a smoldering hole, erase it from human history, depopulate it in a single strike. Continue doing it until nature forces you to stop. Track down every man, woman and child who manages to escape, ship them back in and do it again.
